The warm nature of the staff
The rug had a bit of funny smell hanging on it.
Nice and helpful staff Full kitchen Shuttle to/from subway and grocery
building a little bit old AC is noise
Location! Steps from Arlington Cemetery and a couple blocks from the Rosslyn Metro station. Beds were very comfortable and the Staff was very accommodating.
Had a roach in our room. The shuttle to the metro does not run between 2pm and 430pm on the weekdays and never on weekends. If you are going to offer it, offer it every day. The rooms were very outdated, could use a huge spruce up. Air conditioner in the bedroom never got cold.
The kitchen facilities were very helpful during a long stay; The staff was very efficient and nice in all our exchanges.
The fold-out couch could only sleep one person, and very uncomfortably at that! The air conditioning and refrigerator both were not very cold (even turned up to the max setting). More chairs for the desk might have been nice when eating dinner/playing cards.
For the price we paid we cannot fault this place. It's location is great for Arlington and DC. Ten dollar taxi from Central DC. I would not hesitate to stay here again.
Not the newest place in town but they were doing work on it. As said earlier good vfm
It did not have a king size bed. Room is not up to date.
Easy walk to Metro at Rosslyn. Nice spacious suites, although slightly "dated". Easy walk to the Quarterdeck Restaurant, that has the best boiled Maryland Blue Crabs anywhere. Make reservation.
DC traffic. Avoid travel anywhere near DC at rush hour. It took two hours to get to DC from Fredericksburg heading north at 9am; it took 40 minutes to get from DC to Fredericksburg heading south at 5:45am.
The room was big
Too early breakfast people on vacation want to sleep a little later. Needs new carpet and needs maintained better
We had two young teenagers and stayed to see DC sites for over a week. We appreciated that we had plenty of room for everyone, great closets, a good area for me to work all very conveniently located and reasonably priced. We would definitely stay again and recommend to others as a family friendly place to stay. The boys loved the nightly cookies and always plenty of good chilled water in the lobby. Joni Knight
No complaints - pool a bit chilly and would be nice to be open a bit later.
So convenient,,,the shuttle bus was there when we needed it, The subway into DC was over before you could get your balance. What looked like a lumpy bed turned out to be Cloud Nine. The suite was large and comfy. Kitchen well supplied. We concluded our wedding day with dinner at nearby Amuse at Le Meridien, overlooking the river and Georgetown. An elegant, incredible dining experience with a remarkably modest tab. Thanks Virginian Suites for a memorable trip!
The pool area is a pathetic wasteland. If nothing else...break for some potted palms and a few plants. You've done everything else so well so why not do this well too.
the location is great to be in a few minutes on the subway to the main places to visit.. free parking, and with very good starts to go driving to points of interest. Kitchen well equipped to have some fast food.
could have better food, the employee kindly us gift breakfast, but leaves much to be desired.
Room was good with kitchen..
Morning breakfast was not included and parking was not included when I book online. We only find out after we reach hotel...but everything else was ok.
We had booked on Booking.com and called to confirm that we had a specific type of 1 bedroom suite. When we got there, we were put in a studio room. When we told the staff about the confusion, they switched us to the one we originally booked for, even though it had been booked incorrectly in their system. Thanks for trusting us!
The staff member at the desk acted like she was new and seemed unsure about my questions, but didn't double check any of her unsure answers with anyone. Didn't make me feel confident in what I was told.
The noise of the air condition.
The staff was very helpful. The rooms were larger than a normal hotel. The hotel provides a shuttle that goes to the metro station every 15 minutes. Nice self-serve laundry facilities. Nice pool and breakfast facilities.
The shuttle does not run on weekends. The pool closes at 9 pm. Water and coffee service is taken away at 9:30 pm. The breakfast costs $6 per person and is basically a continental breakfast.
pay for parking
Staff was excellent and very helpfull. The coffee and lemonade in lobby was great and was much appreciated in the morning and at the end of a long hot day.
Condition of facility was a little dated and general housekeeping could be improved.note: cigarette butts could be picked up.
Convenient to go to metro and with the kitchen cooking your own food saves us a lot for eating outside.
Need to update the facility. So dated.
location is good, price is good but I'm willing to pay a little more for better facilities.
Needs more cleaning esp bathroom needs better exhaust fan for ventilation. Paint in the bathroom is peeling. Carpet in dining room is wet near air conditioning. Also needs to improve kitchen equipments.
Breakfast was great! Plenty of towels etc.
Taxes not included in quoted price.UGH Dinning room crowded. No shuttle to airports.
Poor housekeeping. dirty rooms.
Room was large, open and clean Staff was friendly Walking distance to metro station
Elevator was very slow
Full kitchen was great as was the pull out couch for out Mother-in-Law. Great walk-in closet area separating the bathroom from the bedroom. Perfect layout for 2-3 persons. My wife said we could live in that design if we were retired. Shuttle service to the Metro was great!
TV on screen guide was not found. Trying to find a show was like playing roulette. I would like a iPhone charger/radio on the night table, as in other hotels....but I get that not everyone has an iPhone. Not much to dislike in this place!
