Good location with easy access to everywhere in NY, easy checking in and out and staff services. I would suggest increasing the breakfast area at 26th floor to avoid lines. This is the only point to be enhanced. |

I liked its comfort, scenery, and the kindness and helpfulness of the staff, good location. I need to use the internet and the business center is ridiculously expensive. |

The Waldrof Astoria overall was a disappointment, the hotel was very impersonal, the superior standard room was in my opinion only a standard room, there were no tea making facilities available and this stay was not value for money based on this hotels reputation. The Waldrof Astoria deducted the cost of the booking from my account one month before my actual stay and only returned the monies a week later with a lesser exchange rate. This behaviour is unacceptable. |

The location, comfort, style and helpfulness of staff For a luxury hotel, the room was surprisingly ordinary, with street noise competing with the guests from two neighbouring rooms, who saw 4 am in an expensive hotel as the most appropriate time to air domestic tensions. In a hotel such as this, I would not have expected to be in a room in which one could hear the private business of neighbours quite so clearly. |

Friendliness of staff, location and comfort of the room. It is too costly. And although there are a lot of potential services they too are all costly. |

Professional and friendly staff and a hotel that lives up to the expectations of class and elegance. Some bathroom fittings look well worn- but this does fit in with the history of the place, so can be somewhat forgiven, if not embraced. |

I appreciated the historical context of the hotel. I found the staff to be especially friendly and very responsive at every level. The hotel is classy and seeps old world charm. I would have appreciated coffee facilities in the room. |

The location and the bed was particularly comfortable. For the price the room was not special and there were no extras like drinking water or tea making facilities in the room. |

It is an old historical hotel and lives up to the status of being a luxury hotel. We could move freely about the hotel and the staff never made you feel like you were in the wrong place and were always helpful |

The rooms were very comfortable. I also liked having the Starbucks in the lobby. There were no fans in the bathrooms, and we could not open the windows for air. |

The hotel is an elegant landmark with a lot of history centrally located in Manhattan. BUT - be aware that the hotel's dress code these days really has slacked, where the majority of clients are wearing sneakers, shorts, jeans, tank tops etc. |

classy hotel, timeless elegance, extremely nice lobby, nicely decorated rooms, the fact your bed was "prepared" for you in the evening and there was an extra towel/ soap service in the bathroom after having used the bathroom, very competent and discrete personnel who didn't give you the impression to be just "the tourist who got a good deal on an expensive hotel" bathroom old fashioned and not Waldorf fame worth, the rooms were not very big but confortable |
