Not really a tourist kind of hotel
Good hotel....now off my bucket list
Key for lift had to be reset several times.extremely busy .not enough seating in lobby .
Decor was Amazing .Beds very comfortable.staff very friendly and helpful.bedclothes and towels changed every day
Location, history, comfort
Had minor issues with climate control in room. WiFi seemed problematic.
Professional staff, comfortable beds. Bull & Bear Steakhouse is top-notch. Entire hotel steeped in rich history.
Not a thing to complain about
The beds were very compfy
The maid skipped cleaning our room. It was reported at checkout and we received an apology.
The art deco style, elegance and helpful staff.
The drinks were very over priced
Great rooms, beds and gym. The lobby and bar area is very comfy and relaxed
They should have free wifi in the rooms.
The staff and the atmosphere is indescribable good, enjoy every minute.
Not close to a major subway line.
The classic 1920s-1930s film set ambience which still has a magic about it. Was upgraded to a deluxe king room which was absolutely huge. Room service excellent, Ferragamo toiletries a nice touch.
The bathroom smelled like sewage.
Excellent location. Beautiful lobby
We would have liked tea and coffee making facilities in the bedroom and free wifi as we could only access that in the lobby area
The luxury, friendliness of staff, service was excellent and surpassed our expectations. The location in midtown Manhattan.
Beds are amazing
No wifi in room. I resent paying about $20 per day when I've already paid a considerable amount for accommodation. However, there was free wifi in the lobby and I had a cocktail in the bar and accessed the Internet that way.
The location was perfect, one block down from a subway and within walking distance of many tourist destinations. Large rooms. Art Deco foyer. Helpful staff. Very safe atmosphere.
No free wifi or coffee in room
Poor and expensive breakfast
Value for money
Staff helpful apart from reception and we felt very much only a number
The bed and bedding was amazing
No bad points.
The grandular of the hotel is out of this world. You can see and feel the character. The staff very helpful.
a very unpleasant stay. very expensive for a room you can get for approx. $ 100 in NYC very dirty (don't try the phones) no mirror for shaving no coffeemaker (eventually they brought one but they were unable to bring the right coffee and to bring the right amount of capsules very expensive TV in-house program very bad cable program very loud although a quiet room was ordered very small room (superior just keen to learn what a regular room might be) to be honest: one of the worst hotels in NYC (and we've seen a lot)
No free WiFi in the room - most other hotels had it provided!
comfortable and very good location.
Expensive and needs major renovation
They did nothing to help
The beds that were given for three person were not comfortable nor did it accommodate this number, the beds should have been 2 queen beds and not 2 double beds. Breakfast was expensive and not a large choice, it was very crowded so it affected the service to be poor.
We liked the location, its in the centre and in close reach for most of the attractions. The concierge was helpful
Wifi is terrible, truly terrible, truly truly terrible. Fortunately compensated by the great room.
Bigger room was excelente. 2 bathrooms. Location great for the MOMA and 5 avenue.
Disappointed in attitude of some of the staff especially the luggage room and some of the reception staff. The concierges were very pleasant and helpful.
The location is excellent and communal areas are lovely.
