The elegance, the upscale service, the professionalism, the history of the Waldorf. It was like staying in a museum. "Mary" who assisted me in checking was SUPERB and should be recommended as a superior employee.

I loved everything

Ya kidding me??? It was the WALDORF......the place was amazing. The bellhops had bellhops. Great to be pampered throughout the stay.....and there are options to not pay thru the nose. You have to stay there once.....it is the WALDORF ASTORIA.

The Waldorf is a world renowned hotel with lots of history and nostalgia. This is still the same for today when you stay. The hotel is old but thats the point of staying there. I fully enjoyed my stay at the Waldorf Astoria

Lovely hotel the staff were very helpful and very polite nothing was too much for them ask them anything and you would always a very polite answer

What I didn't like was the dirty socks that were left under the bed from the previous guests and also the holes in the sheet on the bed and also the electric socket behind the bed has loose wires hanging off the wall

Park avenue is dead!

The location is perfect.

there wasn't a hairdryer in the bathroom, you had to call for it!

Lovelybig suites ,two bathrooms in ours ( luxury double rooms)our friends had a dressing room and holywood bathroom.26th floor vie up Park Ave. Was nice.

View from some rooms awful a bit tired air conditiioning ,inside and uot vey noisey charge on bill for room service 400$ never had, removed , but annoying. However it is still one of the great N.Y. hotels

Central location.

The hotel was great in its day but is still living off its reputation. The room we had was comfortable but very dark and the less time spent in it, the better. I was glad to leave in the end. Would be great to stay in after the inevitable renovation - I'll wait until then for my next visit!

The hotel carries a lot of history with it, it's delicious to sit on the Lobby Bar and listen to the piano that Cole Porter played for many years. It's also very well located and the price I got was excellent.

The hotel is being renovated, I asked for newly refurbished room upon reservation, but didn't get one. However, they upgraded me to a suite, so I was happy with it, as I had a lot of space. But the bathroom was really small and old. Also, the temperature of the room was difficult to adjust, I was always cold, no matter how warm I put the heater.

Our upgraded room was a suite. The lobby is beautiful.

The price was quite amazing for such an elegant hotel. I love the setting, decor and the breakfast bufffet was delightful.

Location and helpful staff.

Rooms were huge disappointment, require refurbishment. Wardrobes broken, room cooling system noisy, wallpaper patched up, room safe not fit for purpose. Asked to be moved but hotel full!!

The Waldorf is a beautiful hotel and has always been my dream weekend getaway. It is a stunning property with very professional looking and respectful staff. The hotel is gorgeous and the beds are extremely comfortable.

Our heating/AC unit was not working properly and as a result I spent my first night sweating and extremely uncomfortable in a 78 degree room because they "couldn't figure out what was wrong". The next day I reported it twice because the temp increased and the final attempt to "fix" it was to just open a window (which only lowered the temp 2 degrees). After yet another attempt to get a help the manager finally moved us to another room for our second evening. It was very nice but I was not happy that I paid such a small fortune for my dream weekend and ended up with such an uncomfortable stay with no compensation. This alone would make me never stay here again. I've had better experiences at Best Westerns that cost $99/night.

I loved the vip way I was treated from start to finish. The lovely lady checked us in and when I asked if my room had a view she immediately upgraded my room and assured me I would be very happy with it....and I was. My upgrade included access to the lounge area where they served a continental breakfast in the morning and tea and cookies in the afternoon. My daughter said she felt like a movie star as everything was so elegant but not stuffy. We can't wait to go back.

We had problems with the blinds(they would not open and shades did not pull down for morning shade of sun) and it interfered with our view of the empire state building but even then the staff handled it like champions. They took off the upgrade fee and were genuinely sorry for the trouble. They did everything they could to make up for it and even offered me a late check out. I was moved.
