The location of the Warwick New York was central and accessible to all major attractions. The service from the staff was below par for a 4 star hotel. We were forgotten about by reception on a numerous amount of times. We were told that our room would be ready at 3pm which ended up being 7:30pm and probably would of ended up later if we had'nt brought it to their attention. We asked for an international plug converter and was told that they could have one today or tomorrow but, we should go out and purchase a plug converter ourselves. We waited for over an hour (after a second call) for coffee facilities to be brought up to our room. We expected better services from a high calibre hotel with such a rich history.

Location is excellent especially for theater goers and is right across the street from MOMA. A $29 breakfast buffet? Really? A cup of tea was $5. There is a nice coffee shop a block away where I got an omlette, toast, fruit and coffee for $10.

The location of the hotel is a great plus. It is close to MoMa and Times Square. The room was comfortable and clean, and pretty big. The hotel was quite busy, but it was not noisy though. The staff at the reception was indifferent and annoyed. No breakfast included for such a rather high rate.

Great hotel with character and history. Lovely breakfast buffet at new york prices. We stayed here during Hurricane Irene and the staff could not be faulted in this difficult time. The proximity to Connollys Irish Pub and Peter the barman's easy banter made our stay even more enjoyable. Zero view and virtually no daylight in our room but we were able to change to another room with no hassle.

The Warwick was a wonderful experience. An old-style New York hotel with a quiet luxurious ambiance. The location perfect for shopping, theater, museums, restaurants. Room was spotlessly clean.

This lovely Hotel was very central to where we needed to be. For first timers to New York, we found the Hotel to be very central, with transport very close and walking anywhere wasn't a problem. We felt very welcome and safe whilst staying at the Hotel. Our room was always maintained very well, and the good size of our room enabled us to bring our shopping home each night and have space to put it, without the worry of stepping over everything continually. I would recommend this for any Australian's wishing to experience New York for the first time! Great Irish pub just up the block who also welcomed us each afternoon or evening for a meal. Not much that we didn't like.

the location is excellent, easy walking to a large number of attractions and easy access to the subway network for longer journeys bathroom was exceptionally small and well below a standard you would expect for a premier room, no tea/coffee facilities, the rooms are overpriced and extras were very expensive

The personnel is very professional and friendly. I stayed in NYC numerous times, either on business or pleasure, can say that this hotel is one of the best in the city in this price class. I will certainly return. I would recommend that management re-thinks the prices for breakfast, one cup of coffee and two croissants for US$17 is certainly over the brim, although the Hotel Warwick is in the upper class. Also I would recommend to offer free of charge Wireless LAN or Wi-FI, the days when hotels and restaurants were making money with it are long over. In the days of Facebook the Internet is a freeway.

A very good service, The room is good size, it's a very good situated (in the center of Manhatten) - everythere you can reach by step. A very good breakfast at Murray restorant. And we changed our reservation because of the snow storm and we were not able to fly, and the hotel didn't take any charge for changing. The rates for the rooms are not very high compare to another hotels on Manhatten.

Almost everything ecxept the prices of the restaurant.Expensive, but not unsual for New York. The room had no coffeemaker, but you can ask for one. Same with a cooler. Only heard about at the end of our trip. No complaints!!!Personnal very attentive. Quiet rooms and a quiet elegance. Excellent.

The room was quiet and lovely. I would like to have it as my master bedroom at home. The location was perfect, 5 blocks from Central Park and close to the Metropolitan Opera. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. The whole experience was special. I would definitely stay there again the next time I'm in town for an opera. I liked everything.

Very well positioned This is not a four star hotel. The staff is barely adequate. The services offered are not impressive : a restaurant/coffee shop (closed in the evening) and a bar with poor service and poor food; no concercierie services. The bottom line is the following : if you want a truly class hotel book a "true" four star hotel; otherwise is better to go to a "value-for-money" three star.
