Bathroom too small in room
I had forgotten some valuable items in the room after checking out, and instead of disappearing the maid turned them in to the manager who in turn called to me to let me know before leaving the city! Had I lost these items I would have been very very sad.
Breakfast was delicious, but a little pricey
Location and good friendly staff.
It is a traditional oler style hotel. This was fine for our purposes.
Location is just great for sight seeing, shopping, museums, park, theatre and restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable with a great view up 6th Avenue. Beds were great and staff always friendly and keen to ensure you enjoyed your stay. The history of the hotel and it's famous guests added a nostalgic twist we weren't expecting.
We ate in the restaurant once pre theatre. It was fine but my Rossini was over cooked and we didn't have time to send it back.
The rooms are very cosy and clean. The staff was very nice and room service very efficient.
Not having free WiFi. Breakfast buffet in the restaurant was very expensive and no variety.
Loved having the doorman with the freezing weather.
Had to pay $50 a night park.
Excellent location & service, all the staff at every level could not have been more helpful.
Not cheap but your in NYC so you get what you pay for
Staff was extremely friendly and efficient, even when we arrived and they could not locate our reservation. The King Suite which we booked was elegantly appointed and extremely clean. You cannot beat the location of the hotel either!
We loved the old world charm. We had an enormous suite with a separate lounge room - ideal for a Mother and Daughter stay. When we discovered the hotel backs onto the MOMA we were ecstatic and the short walk to Central Park made the location absolutely ideal.
Construction work directly across from the hotel was intermittently noisy but we were sufficiently tired for it not to be too much of a hassle. We didn't like and didn't use the paid wifi - in this day and age most hotels should offer free wifi.
Location and size of room.
Location was perfect. Nice, big, clean room.
Temperature control kept the room too hot and we could not adjust it.
The old fashioned feel, with photos of old movie stars by the elevators and corridors. it was so cosy on cold January nights, the beds were huge and so comfy. Location was fantastic, 5 mins walk to Rockefeller, 2 mins to RadioCity, 5-10 mins to Times Square. Lots of restaurants nearby and subway station round the corner.
The fact we had to pay for Internet - we wanted to look up Broadway shows and restaurant recommendations online. Wifi should be free to guests in this day and age.
Too many favorites to pick one. Amazing room service food. Comfortable, elegant, spacious room. Consistently Lovely staff. Fantastic location close to park Columbus circle. MOMA Carnegie Hall. Lincoln Center.
Loved everything! I've been to the Warwick several times and have brought my family.
It was elegant, with old world charm. The location was ideal. Our room was immense, and the views spectacular.
Finding cockroach in the bathroom crawling on towels !
Have traveled the world but the Warwick's pillows were certainly the worst that I have ever encountered. Small. firm and much more like decorative pillows rather than sleeping pillows. Could not get comfortable the entire night.
Would've been nice to have more lobby space.
great location near Radio City and Times Square. Beautiful, elegant old building
Amenities lacking: no newspaper, no Qtips or cotton pads. Staff failed to fix safe after completely misunderstanding this simple problem (thought we were locked out of room). Never returned to fix the safe.
Great location, historic building, nice room, good breakfast and comfortable bed so I'll visit again
Toaster needs replacing for breakfast. Cost of brekfast a little high - can't think of anything else.
Wasen't given room I booked.
The staff was very nice and friendly. The location is very good.
The rooms need a bit more update , attention the bathroom sink and showers even more. The walls in the rooms need a good coat of fresh paint. For me it is just a good hotel nothing more.
Super friendly staff! Quiet rooms.
Location, location, location! Lovely building. Front desk staff very helpful and friendly. Room nicely decorated. Clean bathroom.
Adjoining restaurant - despite it's very comfy atmosphere, the food could be better and the service friendlier.
Could not have asked for more....perfect location, amazing staff, beautiful hotel. The staff cheerfully provided me with a sewing kit when buttons were falling off coats, gave us great late night dining options close to the hotel, and had plenty of umbrellas on hand when the weather turned rainy. Hotel was in a fabulous location and absolutely beautiful.
