In the middle of P'town, 200m from the city beach, after crowd-season a nice and cosy place to stay a few days.
Don't come with your own car! There are nearly NO lots!
Room space was descent.
No snacks includes except breakfast. Most faculties offer water or tea or fresh baked cookies. This was overpriced for this time of year.
Staff, incredibly nice !
Love that it was an old house, but could hear everything from people walking the stairs to out side Constuction . It also happen to be very windy and could for a few days. The heater in the room could not fully keep room warm do to the wind comming in the cracks if window. Otherwise I really enjoyed my stay
Kudos to Melissa for being a great hostess! Helpful, low key, sincere, went above and beyond to find me a place to park my car. A wonderful person!
NO parking! Trying to find a place to park was not pleasant.
The hotel is in an excellent location for Provincetown - can walk easily to nearly everything. Plus, it's only across the street from the bay. Breakfast was excellent (two types of scrambled eggs, plenty of fruit, toast, etc.). We also ate there for one of our dinners - lobster (also very good). The hotel is clean, picturesque, and the staff very helpful.
floor under the bed was a little squeaky; difficult to figure out the TV channels without a guide (minor stuff)
Friendly, helpful staff, comfy bed.
No, parking, but that's expected on Commercial Street in P-Town
good breakfast, comfortable room, near to center of p'town
Location. Room quality and character
Bar staff in restaurant in the evening a different crew and nowhere near as welcoming
Great place to stay in a location close to everything
Location Value Cleanliness & space Excellent Breakfast
Melissa was great! She guided us for our one day stay in the rain. Nice place, very comfortable, and romantic setting.
Poor Wifi, no connection in the room, only the restaurant downstairs .
Classic charming b & b.
missing shades on sides of front "box windows A hook right by the shower for towels - the one on the door is not just close enough
-Old Inn, nicely kept -A welcome wine and cheese gathering. -Very lovely, simple breakfast included. -Secluded courtyard -Surprisingly quiet
-Be sure to ask about parking situation before arrival or you will drive in circles. -Couldn't get dinner in this town after 10 PM on a Friday. -Pricey
The building was lovely, typical of it's age, although we hadn't expected it to be behind a restaurant. Our room was nice and comfortable. The breakfast next morning was excellent with a range of hot and cold choices.
Our room(0) led directly off from reception so people were constantly walking past our door. Our only view was of the outside eating area for the restaurants and a huge extractor fan. Luckily it was the end of the season otherwise there would have been more noise than just the fan. Check in was brusque and hardly welcoming. Our host continued to speak to his colleague in their own language, which seemed rude. We asked about parking and were referred to a place across the road which cost $20 overnight. When we said that was too much, a piece of paper was thrust at us, he shrugged his shoulders and left. It wouldn't have hurt to tell us it was only $6 at the pier. There was a decided lack of courtesy.
Nice location. Staff was helpful and accommodating
Bathroom was in need of repair with loose sink and peeling paint/caulking.
Very close to the bars and restaurants, centrally situated on Commercial Street; good breakfast, nice comfortable room.
Bathroom fan noisy, little noise isolation between rooms.
A further $20 per night was required for parking nearby
Staff was excellent; friendly and accommodating...
Comfortable room with good sea view from our own balcony.
No tea/coffee facilities in room. Breakfast not available until 8 am.
Our stay was very pleasant. Staff was friendly and accessible. Rooms were comfy and clean. Breakfast was delicious. Melissa was a delight!
Great location and restaurant attached.
Rug looked worn or like it hadn't been cleaned in years. Footsteps from the room above kept me up half the night.
Location was terrific,Room was large and Light. Great view of the P-T Harbour, with a small balcony to sit and enjoy the view and ,autumn breeze. Fresh and delicious breakfast included. Would return.
The Manager was so unbelievably kind and fantastic. Location couldn't be better, the room was great,
My first visit to P-Town and to Waterford inn. Lovely little place with very comfortable rooms. Would stay there again.
Free breakfast wasn't the greatest, but I don't judge hotels on their breakfast.
We liked the staff, the room, fresh fruit at breakfast and the possibility to sit outside.
We understand it is an hold house but I think they could replace the doors to the rooms. Now you can hear everything. Thicker doors would be a good investment. Cleaning of the rooms could be a bit better.
