We liked that we had a nice bedroom and then a comfortable sitting room that was sunny and bright. Our room also had a deck to sit on. The breakfasts were very delicious.
There was nothing to dislike.
Very good food
Coffee was ok
Good breakfasts. Good location a short stroll to the beach and 10 minutes into town. The room was comfortable and there was a common area as well.
There was some road noise from the highway if the window was open.
It was very cozy and personal. The hosts were very open to the early breakfast so we could catch our ferry. Felt like I was in my own home.
Doorbell was not working, after several rings ended up gaving to call the hosts.
Small cramped room
Comfortable. Great breakfast--healthy and very tasty food. Hosts were very accommodating for our schedule
Stairs to the main level could be an issue for some
West Hamilton Street is not marked. No street sign. Spent 30+ minutes trying to find it. A GPS is essential.
The owners Les and Pat are great and very accommodating. We booked a room not expecting a lot but not only did we have our own bathroom (rare for a b&b), but also the CUTEST little private outdoor patio sitting area AND amazing breakfast! Will totally stay here again!!
Room was up 2 flights of stairs.
Friendly folks with wonderful breakfast send off.
Shaky internet cpnnection and abandoned house across the street
great location wonderful breakfast excellent hosts
No attempt to accommodate our 7:30am tee time, breakfast served at 9:00. We were notified of a room change due to double booking after we received our confirmation, nothing mentioned of a difference in room price. We were given one room, but had to move to another due to the price increase not mentioned in our confirmation. Not good service!
Breakfast was scrumptious! Banana crepes! The room was very nice, large and well appointed with a very nice deck and cozy public / eating area. The proprietors, Les and his wife, are friendly and accommodating.
No towel bars for damp towels after showers. Also the neighborhood is not as nice as this B & B deserves.
* Breakfast was very good.
* Area clearly not particularly desirable any longer; abandoned fenced property across street, adjacent property unkept and house for sale; * NOISE from adjoining street often required window to be closed....then old, very loud air conditioner was as bad as the street noise; * Air Conditioner filter needed replacing. * One TV/Dish control remote looked like it had NEVER been cleaned since purchased. * Small cobweb in the bathroom, indicative of inadequate cleaning - strong scent of cleaner fluid bother one of us as well. * Bed & room servicing was NOT provided between nights, a standard feature for B&B when one stays more than single night [sheet changes if requested, straighten room, replace glasses, etc.] * Old abandoned car - collapsed wheel rim and tire on front - remained on property in front of property. [Photo taken but cannot add to this review page.] * This appears to be an old place that once shined but has now deteriorated - stayed at far better B&B for same price. [Price should not have been more than $75.00 given amenities]. * NOT recommended and should be removed from Bookings.com listings.
The owners were very friendly and helpful. The morning breakfast of French Toast was excellent.
We did not get the room we requested, but we still enjoyed the room we had though rather small.
Location, balcony view, breakfast, staff kindness
Dried flowers as room decorations
it was near where our meeting was being held
tiny room, no place for a suitcase, no closet, no way to completely block morning sun, error on their charges that took forever to correct, 2 flights of stairs to reach room.
Breakfasts were amazing, and Pat was a fabulous hostess. We felt completely at home there.
We felt some work could be done in the Romance room to upgrade the bathroom/shower. It was adequate, but maybe not "romantic."
The room and facilities were clean and neat. The food served was good and the serving size was sufficient.
The room was very cramped... no room to move around. The air flow was non existent...left the window open all night. Wish we had a fan to circulate the air. The odors in the main common room upon our first arrival were unpleasant and did not improve over our stay. I would not recommend this place to others and I do not intend to revisit this facility.
The rooms were quite nice and "home-like". We rented three rooms and one was quite small. The location was close to most things in Lake Chelan. The owners were accommodating and thoughtful.
The breakfast was adequate but not exceptional, we expected a more unusual breakfast fare.
The B&B was excellent. The room was very clean, comfortable with a warm, cozy décor. The breakfasts were just delicious. The owners Pat and Les were friendly and very helpful. The B&B was close to the lake and the downtown area. We walked, biked and hiked to all the activities. We would definitely stay there again and tell our friends.
excellent breakfasts, very comfortable beds, could walk downtown from room, very accomodating staff
waaay out of date magazines
Very close to my conference venue. Comfortable bed. Clean, updated bathroom tile. Breakfast. Gushy bedroom carpet. Host willing to work with morning schedule. Clean living room area.
Old fuzzy tv. Fridge was too tiny to put leftovers. Bathroom accessory basket was filled with dusty, old, partially used toiletries. Deck has no privacy screen or bushes. Bathroom has no towel racks. Small shower stall. Cheap plastic flower arrangements.
the breakfasts were great
It was very quiet, friendly atmosphere and excellent breakfast.
