The tennis/workout center was great! Gabriella at the Deli health shop was very friendly and made sure our coffee was filled and hot and our sandwiches made to our satisfaction.
We got lost going back to our room a couple of times. Need more staff poolside.
Atmosphere quite relaxing, property outstanding, great location in Tucson, with lots of good restaurants nearby. Only one restaurant at resort. Would stay here again and recommend it to our friends.
No bad experience, just a couple little things like: unable to reach bellman at checkout with help getting bags to our car; safe quit working; pillows much too soft. Not that significant to prevent us from staying again
This is one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed. The resort has the most breath taking views of the mountains. In the morning watching the sun come up over these mountains puts you in a different state of mind from the rest of the hustle and bustle we deal with every day. All of the staff was very nice and extremely helpful in every way even with special requests which they seem to specialize in. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone.
it is beautiful
we did not arrive at a normal meal time but we had been flying all day and were very hungry. nothing seemed to be available for us
The property was beautiful!
When checking in we were not greeted by a hello. We were abruptly asked, "Name?". And then abruptly asked, "Do you know what time you are leaving on Sunday so that we can let housekeeping know?". I would actually like to be welcomed and would never like to be asked when I am leaving when I am just arriving!
The facilities, golf course and location all stand out as first class. We had nothing but good experiences at the golf course and fitness facilities. Nice resort I would recommend to anyone.
The food and beverages were a bit on the expensive side. We ate off site more than on as a result.
Bed was comfortable and bathroom was nice.
Room looked out dated
The staff was so helpful and courteous. The room was so nice and clean.
That I had to leave..it was so nice I wanted to stay longer
Attractive, Comfortable and clean, nice location.
For the price we could have stayed almost anywhere. We chose this hotel as it had a water-slide so my son could have fun. When we went down to the pool we were told that the slide was broken and it would not be fixed that day. We had to check out later so we never got to enjoy the facilities we were expecting. When we complained the staff were very matter of fact, "sorry, but no idea when it will be fixed". Would expect that spare parts would have been available for a feature attraction.....
Relaxing . Prestine. And LOVED the swim up bar !!
First time to stay at this Westin, but have stayed at most all other resorts in Tucson. The word I would use for this venue is dumpy. I won't be back as a guest...
Pool and spa are nice. Views are beautiful.
Azul's is overpriced for mediocre food. They couldn't get over easy eggs cooked correctly. Really??? They were hard and small and so-so and $15. I had the Huevos La Paloma.
The bed was amazing!!
The service at the restaurant was horrible.
The pools were heavenly, as were the views. Restaurant as good too, although abut pricey.
The parking is a long way from the rooms, but the staff with golf carts were efficient.
Room, view, location were great.
Kids at the pool bar. Lack of attention at the lobby bar. Never did get served there.
Despite the crowd and service, the grounds were nice.
The grounds were crowded and rowdy with a HUGE group of drunk people. While I understand people having a good time, it was completely out of control and way past the point of good fun. And they were everywhere. We couldn't use the pool area, sit at the bar, or make use of any of the amenities. I also understand that it isn't completely the staffs fault, but there was zero attempt to control the madness. Also, we were instructed that check in was at 4, but there wasn't a room ready for us until 6pm, so we missed our dinner reservations. Plus we had to walk forever (through the sea of drunkenness) to get to our room. While there was staff with golf carts driving people back and forth, we were told there was a half hour wait to use that service. And even though we waited a couple hours for our room to be ready, it was not clean. The sheets were still dirty and it smelled terrible. Thankfully, we did not spend a lot of our night on the property or it would have been a much, much worse experience.
Excellent place to stay with kiddos
The only complaint I have and high concern is that they have a slide for the kids. On top there was a chair that I witnessed kids climbing on, and hanging over the top of the platform, which is extremely high. Kids were daring other kids to swing around the pool and then fall onto the slide, kids were sitting on the side of the very top of the slide perched looking into the pool. After many voiced concerns they finally had a staff member go to the top, however, he only stayed maybe 40mins and the behavior resumed.
Good people, good service, not over bearing
Resort fee outside the normal rate and services charges on bills for drinks/other
Rooms were great pool was super.
Views, pools, grounds, atmosphere, cleanliness, spaciousness.
Can get pricey.
We did not like that we did not get the shampoo, conditioner,, soap, cups or coffee, cause we chose to go green. We were not happy that we went green.
The pool is amazing.
The cost of everything is expensive, but what do you expect from a 4 star hotel.
We waited an hour for a cab. It was just before 9pm on Sunday night when we were in our room getting ready to go to a concert when we tried to call a cab, the phone just kept ringing and ringing so we decided to go down to the front desk and ask them to call us a cab since there was no one at the valet/bell boy desk on call. To our surprise there was one person working the front desk. We asked him to call us a cab and he did and said that it would take about 15mins, so 20mins later still no cab so we asked again and front desk clerk called again and said it would be another 30. All in all it was ridiculous that the hotel only had one person working the front desk and no cabs on call it was a joke
FRIENDLY STAFF, THE BED WAS VERY COMFORTABLE, THE BATHROOMS SPACIOUS AND UPDATED, THE POOLS WERE CLEAN, AND THE RIGHT TEMPERATURES, THE SPA WAS WONDERFUL AND PROFESSIONAL AND AN EXCELLENT MESSAGE, THE GOLF COURSE GREEN AND BEAUTIFUL THE WORK OUT AREA AND LAP POOLS WONDERFUL. THE FOOD WAS BETTER THAN AVERAGE BUT NOT OUTSTANDING
A LOT OF PEOPLE AT THE RESORT WERE LOUD, LIKE TO 2-3 AM IN THE AM. I WENT ON A HOLIDAY WEEKEND AND THAT MIGHT HAVE BEEN PART OF THE PROBLEM. THERE WERE ALOT OF PEOPLE AT THE POOL THAT WERE LOCAL AND JUST WALKED IN TO USE THE FACILITIES WITHOUT KNOWING ANYONE AT THE RESORT.POOLS GOT CROWDED. ON FRIDAY THE RESORT STARTED SETTING UP SECURITY,
