This property was ideally located to the airport. As LA area traffic can be maddening and quite unpredictable, it was reassuring to know that the hotel was just two short blocks from our rental car location. While we were worried that being so close to the airport would be noisy, our room was surprisingly quiet, which made for a very restful night sleep before our long flight back to the east coast.
We would not have paid and booked an executive room with the facilities if we had been made aware it wasn't available Friday evening and at weekends !

I liked the bed and it was clean.
I didn't like the protesters out front starting at 7am, and the fact that they claimed it wasn't relating to them when it clearly was a labor dispute. Also the billing was messed up several times which made it very difficult to spend money. They also put excessive holds on your card without prior consent.
The room was specious, clean and very comfortable. The king size bed was so comfortable, bed linen lovely and white. I would defenitely stay again in this hotel when in LAX.
The restaurant was crazy expensive. You would think a hotel of that high class could afford to have normal food prices...
Beautiful facility at the same cost as a much lower quality hotel in the touristy parts of Los Angeles. It allowed us to stay at a Four Star hotel. Made our weekend road-trip that much more special. Thanks, Westin!
Location is great. The room is very spacious and the amenities was sufficient.
Room cleaning was inconsistent each day. Some areas are left untidy on a few of the days.

far from LAX, tight parking with hardly room to open doors, cumbersome exit process did not work, had to go back in to front desk. Night price nearly double other fine hotels on Century Blvd. Waited 40 minutes for pick up bus at LAX after return. I will not stay there again.

LOCATION NEAR THE AIRPORT
The only thing this hotel has going for it is the location.
The staff at the hotel were no where near the standards of other Starwood hotels, let alone a Westin. Friendliness amongst the staff was almost non-existent. Check in was a mess, was given a key to a room that was still occupied, and then had to go all the way back down to the lobby and wait in line again to get a different room - no apologies were made. Check out was also a mess, it took the bell desk 40 minutes to help me with my luggage. Would have done it myself but had 4 suitcases. Had to call them twice to see where they were. Reception was understaffed and there was a long line which took another half hour to get through. 1hr and 10 minutes to check out of a hotel is unacceptable. The staff was not even apologetic to the delay. Another thing I has an issue with was the falsely advertised airport shuttle. When booking it said that airport transportation was included. Upon check in, I asked what the shuttle schedule was and was informed that they share the shuttle with numerous other properties and that we would have to make stops to pick people up, and worst of all.. the receptionist claimed that "it just kind of shows up whenever so we don't really have a schedule." This would be an issue for most travelers since they do have flights to make and timing is important. Will not be staying here again.
clean room, even the face wash basin holes(two holes that when water level too high to release excess water) are clean. which means housekeeper are doing a excellent detail works.

There was no refrigerator available for my left overs and I never received a call confirming we wouldn't get a refrigerator during our overnight stay.
