From the minute we walked in the staff greeted us in a friendly, helpful way. The room was spacious and well appointed. They even rent work out clothes - for those like me who forgot to bring mine along! We walked to the Rose Bowl for a UCLA game - no problem! And it is an easy walk to Old Pasadena, too. I would love to come back to this hotel.
despite my repititive request, the hotel can't provide me with the receipt so i can't reconcile the accounting in my company as this is a business trip, and I totally booked 18 nights stay!!!
After-sale services is really bad, I totally booked 18 rooms!!!
Location Friendly Staff Ambiance
Hotel appears to have been overbooked and the hotel was at the very last minute attempting to move us to alternative accommodation. As a visitor from outside the US having made detailed plans and chosen this hotel for a specific reason this is totally unacceptable. No transport available to take guests to Breeders cup event even though the hotel was advertised as a Breeders Cup hotel.
Everything else other than what I wrote on the right (What didn't you like).
The receptionist for the check-in.... we had this discussion about what's my last name (which is Or) and she questioned multiple times that my last name was Or. Isn't that strange? I showed her my passport, I showed her my booking document. In the end, I had to say "I don't get mixed up with my own last name" to stop her from further questioning/comments. And she didn't even apologize.... BTW, I am not sure what you think, I just feel that it is extremely rude to question one's last name. (Her questions were: "Your last name is "Or"?" (this question was asked multiple times); "Did you have another last name?"; "Oh, perhaps you key in your last name wrongly." etc)
staff, gym, patio
room wasn't quite big, and the rollaway wasn't that comfortable
Good and nice hotel
did not include complimentary items founds in other similar hotels such as slippers
Overall liked everything about the hotel but...because they were sold out their were a lot of loud people all throughout the night and early morning hours. Not the hotels fault they cannot control their guests but made for a early morning departure to go home and get some sleep
lack of sleep
Rooms were clean.
A bit cramp.
The staff was super nice and very eager to please.
I booked two queens and ended up with a king. I paid a little over $900.00 per night and just had a very "basic" room. I travel frequently and was a bit disappointed with the room. It was very clean and comfortable, I just felt that for the $ I should've had a little more.
Slow servants at the restaurant to long to get us a table
We were in pasadena for a concert at the rosebowl. The staff at the westin had made arrangements for shuttles and provided valuable information that made our trip so easy and hassle free. The staff was very pleasant and helpful especially the concierge staff. I would stay here again with pleasure.
Close to Old Town The beds are amazing
the walls are super thin, you can hear most everything
facilities the place is high standard close to several things to see
price didn't include obvious requirements Internet not free parking not free room a bit small
Hated the WIFI fees. It is a ripoff Especially at a higher end hotel. Should be included
Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Some went beyond the good service you would expect (especially Tina at the restaurant). Food was delicious, nice variety. The location was very close to Old Pasadena, museums, shops, and good restaurants.
Clean, comfortable room. Free shuttle delivery and pick up to a restaurant within 3 miles.
We like to sleep with the window open. The room faces Los Robles, so a bit noisy with open windows. Other side of the hotel would have been better.
A bit run down for $400 per night. Showers did not drain in the first room, the second room had paint damage on bathroom doors. Service is OK, location is good.
The staff was very friendly and helpful over the phone and once we arrived. Room service was very fast both times we ordered.
Our room was very small. Our view was of the stairwell and there were shutters over the window not drapes or blinds so the sunlight streamed in at first light. Also there was only a narrow desk and no end table so when we ordered room service it was a bit awkward. We didn't have much space to set down the trays. One of us had to eat at the narrow desk facing the wall. There was a club chair as well but no ottoman which we could have used to rest one of the trays. Strange set up.
Friendly staff, clean rooms, very comfortable bed.
A bit expensive for what you get.
The front desk staff was very helpful and accommodating
The shuttle was great!
We wished that you would have had a better late night menu. The lava cake dessert we ordered came with a cookie that looked like it was half eaten and I had the portabello wrap that just was regular mushrooms and was nothing like the discription and the arugula was mushy/old. We were very unsatisfied with our order. Oh and when we used the button to call express touch to order in it rang and rang for forever then I finally decided to call the concierge and they took my order
It is a little far of The tourist atractions of los ángeles And a little expensive to move by taxi. If I had a car I would like to stay at this hotel.
complementry rides to different locations, bringing nail clippers when i needed them at midnight
my first room didn't lock from outside but they gave me a better room excellent
Room Restaurant patio fire food style california drinks
Wi fi was weak
