Score from 472 reviews Very good
Loved the bed. Good all around
Very, very comfortable beds.
Parking costs $51/ night. WiFi was slow at times, or my macbook would not connect.
The Central location
WiFi was bad and had to rely on 4G for a good connection.
Perfect location in Philly & the most comfortable bed/pillows ever. Great shower too.
Price for parking is steep
Great location, nice room, friendly staff, and great price.
Room was very nice and comfortable. Staff was very accommodating.
Check-in staff distant and not overly helpful.
westin beds are amazing location was perfect
Location was perfect for sightseeing and visiting nearby shops as well.
Late check in, despite earlier request for an earlier arrival. Paid wi-fi in hotels at this price range is an outrage nowadays in my opinion but I guess this is Starwoods policy overall.
The beds and linen were very comfortable, as to be expected of Westin.
For the price they charge, I expect fairly flawless amenities. As they say, the devil is in the details, and Westin Philly failed when it came to the details. Most of their front desk staff mumble incoherently when they speak. The little coffee maker they provided was filthy; I ran hot water through it more than 10 times, and still large chunks of blackish god-knows-what kept coming out. The keycard to my room did not function - twice. And finally, the little privacy sign that was supposed to hang on the door was in tatters. Again, little things, but for the price Westin charges, I expect flawless service. If this was a comfort inn (or for the price charged at a comfort inn), I wouldn't sweat these things. But again, WESTIN.
Location Room decor Quiet
Not enough plugs in rooms, especially near bed
Pricey for amenities. Really find it frustrating, like being nickeled and dimed, when a hotel of this caliber charges for wireless.
The bedding looked like it was 20 years old. All of the fill in the comfortable was lumpy. We asked for a replacement and they claim to have replaced it and it looked equally worn.
Beautiful hotel. Welcoming, helpful staff. Great location. Delicious room service.
Paying for internet access. Cost of parking could be more reasonable.
The beds were very comfortable and the location was good at a relatively good price for center city Philly.
Nothing, it was great place for weekend with friends.
They charged me twice and I am still dealing with them refunding the second charge. They always say they will call me back and have not called me back. This also does not look good for booking.com since I used your site to book it.
Big room very confortable.
I paid by cash and I had to leave a deposit. The morning after I had to check out very early beacuse of the flight and they did not have money to give me back. It is not possible for a 5 stars hotel! They promised me to mail me the check, but it should take more or less 4 weeks. Not acceptable!
1. Elegant hotel. 2. Friendly and efficient staff.
1. Inadequate lobby area - which is essential for a city centre business hotel. 2. $15/day separate charge for internet really bothered me (which they did waive on checkout), whereas the Au Bon Pain downstairs gives you free Wifi for the price of a $2 coffee. 3. $22+tax+tip for a very basic breakfast buffet + surprised that a business class hotel in a major metro city centre didn't have espresso or cappuccino. Instead, go downstairs to the Cosi, Au Bon Pain or Starbucks for quick breakfast range which serves range of coffees + free internet that won't cost more than $6.
lack of free parking
Location, friendliness of staff
Very convenient. Clean. Pleasant staff willing to help.
Bed was not as comfortable as expected.
great service, very clean, great location
I didn't like that the $5.00 Green Rebate could only be used in the hotel restaurants and could not be applied to the mini-bar or to the hotel bill - bit of a scam!
