It's fabulous location for Chestnut street for shopping, only 0.5 mile from the river side jogging path, 4 miles jogging alongside the river away from all the cars to the Art Museum and the Park, close to get a rental bike, near by everything you really want in Philly if you are a sporty, active person!!!!
The concierge was amazing with helping us find a restaurant near by to celebrate my birthday at. She even sent a gift to my room when she heard I was here for my birthday! So wonderful. All of the staff was extremely friendly and helpful and always asked how my birthday was going as I came and went. Great experience!
No free wifi :(
Location and comfort
Friendly and helpful staff Convenient location Nice lobby bar
Location, nice lobby bar
I remember when the Westin was built and it was the best in town. It is a great hotel but it could use a like touch up for nicks and style in the rooms. Please don't get me wrong it is still a top notch hotel.
From our first interaction, the Westin staff was friendly and accommodating! They went out of their way to make our family feel welcome. The hotel was comfortable and clean and the location was perfect for lots of sightseeing. The rooms were spotless, generously sized, and nicely decorated. The Westin Philadelphia made our family getaway memorable! Although some have complained about the high valet parking price ($51), the bellman earned every dollar. This price provides in and our parking privileges and the staff even returned to our car to retrieve our umbrella. Please note a cheaper option exists in the mall adjacent to the hotel but does not have the same in/out privileges. We cannot wait to return!
We had a short delay upon check in but the staff was responding to our request for adjoining rooms. The 30 minute extra wait time was well worth it!
Clean room heating system was vey good Location is the best close to public transportation many good place to go and eat like little pete's , Federal Donut
On the site they say breakfast is included which was not Bathrob that was is one bathrobe for two people
Hotel was clean and staff was very nice.
Wifi was not complimentary. Would prefer a refrigerator.
Loved the bed. Good all around
Very, very comfortable beds.
Parking costs $51/ night. WiFi was slow at times, or my macbook would not connect.
The Central location
WiFi was bad and had to rely on 4G for a good connection.
Perfect location in Philly & the most comfortable bed/pillows ever. Great shower too.
Price for parking is steep
Great location, nice room, friendly staff, and great price.
Room was very nice and comfortable. Staff was very accommodating.
Check-in staff distant and not overly helpful.
westin beds are amazing location was perfect
Location was perfect for sightseeing and visiting nearby shops as well.
Late check in, despite earlier request for an earlier arrival. Paid wi-fi in hotels at this price range is an outrage nowadays in my opinion but I guess this is Starwoods policy overall.
The beds and linen were very comfortable, as to be expected of Westin.
For the price they charge, I expect fairly flawless amenities. As they say, the devil is in the details, and Westin Philly failed when it came to the details. Most of their front desk staff mumble incoherently when they speak. The little coffee maker they provided was filthy; I ran hot water through it more than 10 times, and still large chunks of blackish god-knows-what kept coming out. The keycard to my room did not function - twice. And finally, the little privacy sign that was supposed to hang on the door was in tatters. Again, little things, but for the price Westin charges, I expect flawless service. If this was a comfort inn (or for the price charged at a comfort inn), I wouldn't sweat these things. But again, WESTIN.
Location Room decor Quiet
Not enough plugs in rooms, especially near bed
Pricey for amenities. Really find it frustrating, like being nickeled and dimed, when a hotel of this caliber charges for wireless.
The bedding looked like it was 20 years old. All of the fill in the comfortable was lumpy. We asked for a replacement and they claim to have replaced it and it looked equally worn.
Beautiful hotel. Welcoming, helpful staff. Great location. Delicious room service.
Paying for internet access. Cost of parking could be more reasonable.
The beds were very comfortable and the location was good at a relatively good price for center city Philly.
Nothing, it was great place for weekend with friends.
They charged me twice and I am still dealing with them refunding the second charge. They always say they will call me back and have not called me back. This also does not look good for booking.com since I used your site to book it.
