Proximity to activities. Polite and helpful staff, with exception of 1 valet but over all, a great experience would recommend and will be back. $32 a night valet parking wish I would have been warned about that. Also very minor my girlfriend and I arrived in casual attire to the hotel valet station (I will admit I do not drive a Mercedes sports car, but my vehicle is new and well kept). And the valet very politely asked me if we were at the correct Westin hotel. There is a much less nice location in the same area.

The staff was very friendly,and the valet staff was very helpful.Its a great hotel with great views. (we stayed on the 24th floor) The bathroom door was like a old vintage pull out of the wall. Which did not lock. For the money we spent it should have been more up to date.

The staff are execellent and go out of their way to help and are all very friendly. You can not hope for people to do more. When you pay extra for a Bay view you would think the windows could be washed sometime. Plumbing banging from room next door.

The five dollar voucher for no room service is a farce for this quality of hotel.paying in the two hundred dollar a night range, getting your own towels,soap,toilet paper etc. I was so upset with myself for falling for such a dumb program. Never again. A westin hotel,unbelievable

Hotel employees were very informative and polite. Had a partial window view of the ocean but the view was distorted because the windows were dirty. (12th Floor)

We stayed on an SPG floor....the rooms were clean, very accomodating, and had PURE room humidifiers! The view was outstanding. Beds were comfortable. A small and pesky thing... we wished to sleep in... light from the corners of the windows seeped in... no matter what I tried. Wish this wasn't the case!

The concierge is fantastic more specifically Thi who helped us with a few sightseeing tours. We were apparently upgraded but the room 2011 is very small. For the price we paid and the lenght of stay(5 nights), we could have been given a larger room.

Westin is a fairly standard middle-range modern hotel, broadly as expected. Better than average food - I ate at the bar and also had breakfast. The only place I've been to in California that knows how to make real chips.as in 'fish and chips' instead of the french fries usually found. Payment for quality wifi internet - many hotels offer this as a free facility.

I was told I would receive my receipt by email. I have not received it. I need it for reimbursement the restaurant prices are very very high (eg 5.95 for coffee per person, 15.95 for an omelet)

The Westin San Diego is a very good hotel with perfect service. People of the reception were very friendly. We recommend this hotel to everybody. Everything was perfect but 1 little point: The fitness room is not perfectly. I mean that there were not the newest instruments to fit.For example the home trainer made a little noise by bycing.

The bed was very comfortable!! It was nice that there was Starbucks coffee. Also the view was nice and the fridge and access to ice was good. Also, excellent temperature control. When we came in, there were used tea bags still in the coffee maker. Also it took forever for the water to turn hot in the shower. We also didn't like that the bathroom doors were sliding doors, because it made a really loud scraping sound. The bathroom really needs a fan too. Also, not much offered on the TV and the menu button really should display what shows are playing, not which networks are on.
