Nice place, clean
Location, had this Westin mixed up with the Westin on union square. Staff at check in/out could of been friendlier Room was muggy
We were only there overnight and slept in a bit too long and missed breakfast by 5 minutes. We explained to the hostess Cecilia that my husband is a diabetic and she immediately went back to the kitchen and returned with two plates loaded with scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon and hash browns. She then brought orange juice and toast, a platter of charcutierre and a banana! And to top it off, we couldn't pay because breakfast had ended. Cecilia went above and beyond for us and her kindness will be remembered. We also received an upgrade at check-in and an extended check-out.
That we only we're staying one night!
During the busiest time of the year they only had 3 out of 5 working elevators. NEVER EVER EVER, should a guest couple ever get a flea bite especially when I don't own a dog, UNACCEPTABLE!
My husband and I ran to the Ferry Building. Our family walked to AT&T Park for Cirque Du Soleil. Shopped at Union Square. Perfect get away!
Excellent staff and amenities.
Price of parking excessive.
Pretty convenient for what we were up to in SOMA. Not sure how perfect if you want to do things in the north of SF, but for South SF it was great. The staff was helpful in recommendations and assistance. Beds comfy and all good for price relative to options.
Excellent restaurant with lots of seating options, great location, modern rooms
Could have been a bit more upscale: at the entrance, the bathrooms
bathroom is old, still with a shower curtain....
Bed was hard
We got a great deal on bookin.com on this hotel. It was pretty much 40 percent off, thats why we took it. We arrived and our room wasnt ready so they upgraded us without us asking to the 21st floor. AMAZING room. We were like..Is this for real? super comfy, super views. It was ridiculous.. Staff was more than great. So helpful, so great.. Location. Third and Market. Need i say anything???? Close to all of the good stuff!
Price of parking (if you have a car). 67 dollars? Then again..this is SF right..
Location was fair
Fitness Center was crowded - no way to work out early. Business Center only with one printer and was b&w. Parking way expensive. Internet is not free is all rooms.
-fitness center -location -brand
-bar in restaurant close early at night, no live music or activities offered. -old fashion style rooms, bathrooms and decor need an update/restyle -expensive night at the hotel and then why paying extra $$$ for wifi? -not that well at being customer oriented -breakfast buffet price well to high in comparison to competition and market average ($29 per breakfast)
Spacious room with nice furnishings and comfortable bed, 50" HDTV
Location was the best for the shopping and Christmas lighting we were there for.
My staying in Westin was very good. Very clean and comfortable bed.
Only one thing at morning the maid knocked in my door four times to check am I in the room or not :)
I have stayed here many times and many other places as well. I always choose this property first. Best location, best of everything!
Location was ideal
The bathroom was not the same as in the picture
The staff was courteous, the room was comfortable.
Internet access should be free to all guests. In addition, the need to login for access on a daily basis was annoying.
Great floor to ceiling windows with a city view and central location right off Market Street (avoid Union Square, it's a little bit dodgy). Great value for money overall.
For this price, breakfast should be included.
Excellent location, very comfortable bed and very capable staff.
Charged in excess of $15 a day for internet which was free in every other hotel during our trip. Allowing dogs as a 'pet friendly' hotel meant we were woken both mornings at 0500 by barking and the owner trying to hush their pet. Both factors unacceptable in a top hotel.
Excellent location - easy walk to Union Square, the Embarcadero, Financial district and Montgomery BART station. Best location in the city from our point of view. Be sure to check out Yerba Buena gardens and the open space behind the hotel. We have been to this Westin at least 3 times and only noticed the gardens this time. Not all the interesting stuff is out the front door.
Make sure to not get the small rooms. Only 220 sq ft. The larger rooms are way better.
Proximity to Bart, Union Square, shopping. The bed was great. We asked for a room with a view and we did have a great view.
The room was the size of a camper. Not even a comfortable chair to sit in. There was a desk chair but where does the second person sit? The hotel blocked our "hot spot" on our phones so we were forced to pay for internet connections.
cleanliness, bed was super comfy
the value for the money did not match up, the walls were paper thin and we could hear everything that went on in the hall, the air conditioner did not work properly, the price of the snacks in the fridge were ridiculous, $4 for a canned coke, really??
Easy to get to by public transport. Clean comfortable room. Friendly staff. I was there to run a race and they had water and other amenities out for all the runners.
Bar area could have been more lively.
