Beds are amazing. Love the history of the hotel.
Paying for the room coffee $6.60, wireless $14.95 and In- Room Movie $17.99 seems out of date now but charging $160.74 for parking on a two night stay is over the top and takes the shine off the whole thing
Very surprised at lack of hotel amenities. We had arrived around 4pm starving and had a short time before going out to meet friends. We wanted a drink with a snack and our options were a salad or sandwich from a deli case. We couldn't even get nuts with our drink at the lounge. Had to go across the street to get a pizza. Expected MUCH more from this level of hotel.
Location great and convenient to Union Square shopping/dining etc.
Room overlooked Geary street. It was very noisy and had trouble sleeping. One morning at 4 am some other guests were so loud coming back from partying it was not what I expected in a hotel of this caliber. Homeless begging outside the hotel was a little disturbing.
Hotel staff was very friendly and took good care of us.
Wifi expensive and should be free for guest inside rooms or more option and the toilet seating was big.
I loved the staff, location and spacious rooms
Depends on cost
Hotel room was dated.
The location is great.
Expected the room to be a little bit bigger.
Very comfy bed, very nice building and helpful staff.
Last time room was dusted Fatty Arbuckle was a boy.
Almost all hotels we've ever stayed at offers free Wi-Fi and free use of the computers. To offer these service at such a high cost makes us feel rather hoodwinked or bamboozled. It already costs a lot just to park in the city, why make create this experience when you don't need to?
Staff were friendly and accommodating, the location and view is fantastic, and the bed is comfortable.
Visa billed four times for two nights stay in the two booked rooms. Each separate bill attracted a bank charge. Why was there simply not one total bill? Wifi should be free!
Location, historic and stately nature of the building.
Felt judged by check in clerk
The bed and linens
Paid WiFi, charged for complimentary items.
The views of the rooms.
Lovely spacious room, friendly staff, perfect location and best bed for comfort.
I had to hook up the coffee in the bathroom, couldn't find another plug.
The rooms were beautiful and I enjoyed my view of Union Square. I stayed in the Landmark portion of the hotel and it was beautiful.
Loved the location, a fab hotel and can recommend to anyone, we only had 2 days in San Francisco. I'm glad we were so central for sightseeing!
i had to wait in line and have my room card updated 3 times. Over an hour in waiting and organizing. Also couldn't access internet, more time on the phone with tech.
Friendly staff, excellent room, great location.
Free Wifi in all rooms should be standard nowadays for a hotel of this class
Given price paid I would expect free wifi
Great location with all the amenities you want. The new tower was well appointed and comfortable. Friendly staff and great food at restaurants.
pay for wifi ,paying a lot for room already should be included
I think it's silly that they don't offer free wifi in your room. In this day in age.
I stay here because of the location, it's right in the middle of Union Square, easy to walk around to a lot of shopping and restaurants. Also easy to call Uber for rides to other neighborhoods.
charge way too much for parking=68$/ day
