Location and luxury
The valet attendant wasn't very friendly when we arrived
The staff was excellent and very joyful. It's nice to see people who enjoy their jobs.
Paid wifi that isn't good quality.
The food was wonderful and everyone was very pleasant and comforting. Our room was very clean!
Friendly staff. Excellent valet parking attendants
Great location and facilities.
When I stay at a quality hotel, I expect that the customer service matched the facility. Unfortunately, I did not not have that experience. I accidentally left an expensive item in the room. I didn't realize it until I was home after traveling for 6 hours. I immediately called and wanted them to know (I knew exactly where I left it). LONG story short: I was told to leave several voice messages with housekeeping department. After calling day after day, I finally got to speak to a housekeeping manager who informed me nothing was found- which is impossible because I know exactly where it was left. She informed me that the manager would be returning my call to assist in this manner the following day (now 2 weeks after my stay!) between 8-9 AM. I received no call from the manager. I am extremely disappointed and was willing to pay any fee to get this item back. Lessons learned: ALWAYS double check the room for items before you leave, and don't expect management to help you once you're done staying with them. I expect more from Westin.
Everything about our stay at the Westin was perfect. The staff was beyond helpful and friendly, the room was impeccable - so comfortable and clean, and the value was great. This was our first stay at the Westin and wish we had tried it sooner because it is the best out of the hotels in stl.
Nothing, everything was perfect
The room was massive. The bed and shower were awesome!
Phone didn't work in room.
Location, breakfast was lovely
Rooms need a facelift from broken tiles, worn carpet, old artwork! For the high price expectations were more!
I chose the Westin primarily because of its location. One of my sons is going to work in California, and I am driving across the country with him. I wanted him to see the Arch, to get an appreciation for the Anheuser-Busch presence in St. Louis (he already has an appreciation for their products), and we hoped to see a baseball game at Busch StAdium. All these are within easy reach of the Westin. The second reason is the chain's good reputation, which it totally lived up to. The staff are uniformly friendly and ready to go the extra mile to assist you. While checking in, in answer to a question, I mentioned our plan to grab something quickly at the hotel's Clark Street Grill before the game. We also discussed traffic and all the road construction we encountered on our way. She very kindly gave us a coupon for a free appetizer along with our keys. The room was well-appointed, spacious, and clean, as was the fitness center. We had salads & drinks (along with our free appetizer) on the bar side of the Clark Street Grill for dinner, and breakfast there the next morning. Food and service were both very good.
We drove into downtown St. Louis at the same time as all the Cardinals fans were arriving. In such heavy traffic I did not find the driveway / entrance to the hotel to be easy to find. Our room was across the street from the baseball stadium. I suspect the music and noise from the game might bother someone in such a room who planned on an early bedtime. (We were at the game, so I'm not sure.)
Our room was unusually large, immaculately clean, quiet, comfortable, nicely decorated, with large windows. Really great.
Beautiful hotel, love, love, loved the bathroom.
For the price, would have at least like a complimentary breakfast buffet in the morning!
Nice rooms, great staff. Very accommodating, and helpful. Room was huge!
I loved everything about the hotel. I work for a 5 star hotel in Chicago and I was very impressed by the Westin St. Louis. The staff was very warm and personable. The doormen helped out with where to go out and where allike the night life was. Without them, we probably would've spent more money than needed. Thanks!
Quiet. Spacious. Convenient. Pet friendly
Incredible location right next to ballpark.
Close to the ballpark
Westin was close to everything. Staff was friendly Rooms were comfortable and good size
Wish it had a pool Fitness center was a mile away and difficult to find. Sshould be more centerally located and have mapp. Hotel needs a pool.
The bathroom was wonderful
If the cards are in town and you have a car, good luck trying to get to the entrance to the hotel
Thought it was a little over priced for the quality
Really down town. Got the room at 40% of standard price
the room was very big and spacious .. the staff was amazing too. one of the best hotels i have ever been to.
it should have a bigger check in/ out counter
Good location. Fancy bathroom.
The price for WiFi. Expensive room service. Parking should be included for the price.
The hotel's stated check in time is after 3 pm. We arrived after 3 pm and still had to wait over 2 hours for our room to be ready.
beds, linens and bathroom were great.
food prices and cost of parking
The rooms were well-appointed and staff was nice.
Room service charges differed from what was listed on the menu.
