Great location 1/2 block from Fisherman's Wharf. Plenty of food places from fancy seafood restaurants, sushi, crab shacks, to In -n- Out Burger. Free parking. Lack of hot shower water at 8am.

Location is excellent, everything else is very poor. We booked it for the location, but regreted it the moment we saw the room. Seedy, shabby, dilapidated room. Looks like it was constructed 50 years ago and never updated! When you shut the door, the whole floor shakes. Very disappointing, easily the worst accomodation we stayed in during a month long trip of the US. Expensive too. Best option is to demolish the hotel and build a decent one on the site.

The location is the best on the Wharf (you can't get any closer!!) and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Oh and the free parking is awesome as parking downtown is expensive. We just parked and walked everywhere. The only complaint is you can clearly hear people walking by outside your room (like they are in the room with you). I wear earplugs and could still hear people. Probably not a problem if you don't go to bed early, but we did as we caught the early bird cruise to Alcatraz.

The location was excellent - 1 block off Fishermen's Wharf Our room was small and dark, although other rooms did look larger. The outside hallways are loud and echo.

The hotel is close to Fisherman's Wharf and within easy walking distance of all the wharf attractions and restaurants. Transport is easy to the city either by street car or by cable car. The staff were very helpful and organised all our requests without a problem There was some noise from the street as our room face the road but not enough to trouble us.

Excellent location right near all the attractions and cable cars etc. of San Francisco. Hot coffee available 24/7. I know we have to save water but the shower in this hotel was ridiculous you get more water over yourself if you stood under a tap. No breakfast supplied which was disappointing.

convenient location to all major attractions. great and helpful staff. the only hotel to offer free parking in the entire wharf area. tv's could be upgraded to flat screens and channel selections were a little limited.

Great location and great price. Office staff were very nice and helpful. It is not a luxury hotel but it provides what you need and it was clean. Seems to attract some noisy neighbors but overall was nice to come back to after a day in the city.

Nice size room for 2 adults and 2 children. 2 stories with exterior access. Close to Fisherman's Warf. Free parking! The room was too warm for sleeping, with no way to turn the heat any lower.

We liked the location, also clean room when we arrived. The price was ok. In the morning all they had was coffee no fruit or muffins or sweetrolls. Not to mention our room was not cleaned dureing the day. My wife then read the lable on door, it said if you want your room serviced place card outside.Card said [ do not disturb ] And Service Room on the other side .We thought it was our fault because we didn't put out the card, so we didn't complaine, but after thinking about it I told the attendent when we checked out. He just said it should have been cleaned but didn't offer any discount or compensation.That we thoughtwas very unprofessionel.

The parking is free and so is the wifi. The room did not have air conditioning and I did not find this listed in the hotel details. It was very disappointing since it was 80 degrees that day.

Wharf Inn gave us a feeling of being secure. Liked the idea of having a key card to access the elevators and rooms. Free parking was a real asset. Some noise at night from the traffic on the busy streets.

We were made to feel very welcome and Janet at the front desk could not have been more helpful. Helped us book tours and was always ready with answers to our questions. Even looked after our bags on the last day until we left for our flight home. Highly recommend the Wharf Inn

The staff at the wharf in were very friendly and helpful. The location of the inn is great, right near the pier 39 shops and restaurants and near the cable car stop that takes you right into union square shopping district. The room was kept clean our whole stay and the bed was ssooo comfortable! The free 24hr hot chocolate was great too! Would definitely stay here again. Not really anything we didn't like...... Maybe just would have been nice to get a continental breakfast???

Location to fishermans wharf. Shopping and eating. Parking was great, did not use the car for a couple of days. Was able to leave the car in a fenced in big parking lot. Noise, can hear people in adjacent room. Street noise.

I liked its location to the wharf, bay cruises, and the flexible parking. You can't do anything about it. . .but the street noise kept waking us up. I wish you had a small coffee pot in each room.

Location. Bizarre! The Asian lady at the front desk told me my reservation had been cancelled by Booking.com. I showed her the voucher, she did not accepted,I entered online at booking.com, showed the confirmation online, she dis not believe. She said that I could show her wherever I wanted, she knew that I had cancelled my reservation/ At the end, with sarcasm, she said that would make me a favor and gave me a room. The hotel: noise, noise , noise, from everywhere. Never again.
