No pool or hot tub.
The staff was always willing to help and pleasant to be around.
free wifi is awfully slow (only 1Mbit) and didn't work two days, expensive breakfast doesn't include good quality espresso-coffee
great bed, very quiet
Breakfast was very slow in coming and was cold when it finally arrived
Comfort of bed, close to meeting location
very cold room a/c kept going to 65 no matter what we did - Wifi was pretty poor
location and beds, concierge was awesome
Not a single bad experience.
The friendly and professional service from the front desk, room service, concierge, and wait staff at the Italian restaurant on the first floor was superb.
They don't give you wash cloths in the bathroom unless you ask for one.
The staff was the best part of the hotel, very helpful and knowledgeable. Rooms were cleaned and great smelling. Location is perfect to everything great about the Chicago night life. Check-out is at 12 instead of 11 which sometimes...the extra hour of sleep is really needed after a night on the town.
Rooms are too small Pictures on website deceiving.
I liked being very close to my conference center at John Hancock and Michigan Avenue shopping. The staff was always more than helpful. I received great restaurant recommendations and help with baggage, breakfast requirements and even where to find a Catholic Mass.
The room was large and very comfortable.
Everything was lovely the room, restaurants, and staff make you feel like you are staying at one of the most expensive hotels in the area.
No bad experiences. The hotel is a little old and the rooms need some updating
The hotel location and the staff were great! The young lady who works the front desk (Bizarre) is awesome. We had a great experience.
There was construction happening which no one told us at the Front Desk or during the booking process, it was extremely disappointing. The noise started at 9am and there was dust pouring into our room from the work outside. It looked like there was a fire - not an enjoyable experience at all...hotel seemed a bit old and run down - room had about an inch of dust by the window when we checked in
The location of the hotel was great!
They didnt have a restaurant for breakfast
The bed was so comfortable i could have slept at least 12 hours and I'm a type of person that only gets 6 hours a night and the staff was so friendly we loved the 2 valet
Friendly, helpful staff. Reasonable price.
Single glass windows make for noisy rooms at night; definitely bring ear plugs!
* Room lighting, insufficient * No central switch to control lights
Shower temp was hard to regulate.
Super helpful staff with excellent recommendations. Beds were so comfy. We really loved our stay and will be back! Just really nice people.
The fact that the mini fridge was locked and sensored. The bottles in the door were turned backwards and we could not read them. Was told if we moved the bottles,at all we would be charged.
Loved the bed! Most comfortable bed i have ever slept in!
The room could have had a refrigerator.
I requested a smoking room off bookings.com and was referred here.only to be charged 250.00 forsmoking
The staff are very courteous and friendly.
Very friendly people, near the city centre, very comfortable rooms
Booked the night before our stay and got a fantastic rate. Staff were very polite and helpful. The doormen were also very polite. Have read some reviews regarding space and the lifts, yes the lofts are small but it's an old building so this wasn't an issue for us, plus we never waited more than 30 seconds for a lift. Would definitely stay again if visiting Chicago.
It was unfortunate that that wifi wasn't just easily accessible. Would be nice if hotel had a code and you just had regular service and not have to login to a wifi network that is very slow.
It was really close and nearby to the John Hancock building. The staff was all really friendly, the bell hop's were always asking if we needed help or directions. Very helpful! Also it was really nice it was downtown near a bunch of destinations and they were easily accessible by either taxi or walking. We walked everywhere in the winter.
This hotel has amazing location, just 2 blocks from John Hancock and Magnificent Mile. When we checked in we got room with 2 double beds because they were sold out on kings. We called downstairs and Debbie at the front desk made everything to block room with King bed for next day and hold it till we return to the hotel after a long day. Being a part of hotel industry I truly appreciate her efforts! She is super star! We got room on high floor with nice view. I liked the décor of the hotel - classic and elegant. That's a great place for business travelers as well as couples to spend small romantic vacation in the city center.
