Nothing but the staff was courteous Room is smelly, Aircondition system was ratling and outside the room was smelly & hot. The experience was awful. |

The bathroom and bed were clean and comfortable. The room was small but to be expected in an old hotel. The room was very nice though Supplemental charges for internet and parking. |

The hotel was conveniently located. My room also had the most comfortable bed. I did not like the fact that they did not offer continental breakfast to guests. At that price point, continental breakfast should be included. |

It was fun to stay in an independently run hotel, and the location is great. The rooms was well-decorated, and the bed very comfortable. The room was a bit cramped, some pieces of furniture not in the best condition (hinges of TV cabinet, sink in bathroom not entirely put together). I thought the price was a bit high (even with an online deal) for the size of room and amenities at the hotel (ie no hotel pool etc). |

Really big bed. Good plumbing and small but well-constructed bathroom. Friendly staff. Our "Do not disturb" hanger disappeared. We asked for another, but it never materialized. As everywhere in downtown Chicago, don't bring your car if you don't want to spend money to park it ($45/day at the hotel). |

kind, courteous staff. nicely appointed bathrooms. good linens. for some unexplicable reason, radio and television were left on by housekeeping |

Hotel location, location,...... Broken air-conditioning. I asked for room replacement. The request was rejected with explanation that the hotel would provide a fan!!!! |

We were upgraded for no apparent reason and the staff was very nice. I loved that it was small and easy to manuver. would rather have had coffee maker in room than have to go downstairs for free coffee. |

Nice, clean room; comfortable bed; quiet; and at least now, great value. Great old bar, terrific Chinese dumplings good pizza, and helpful staff. |

Very helpful staff, great location, very comfortable rooms (wonderful beds!), and amazingly affordable. Staff dealt with problems quickly and in a very satisfactory manner. Old heating system, in process of being renovated, kept knocking the first 2 nights of our stay before it froze totally. The engineer came immediately to fix it, and it worked until evening. But the hotel moved us to another room, which turned out to be a suite, for no additional fee and saved the day (and, more importantly, the nights' sleep for the rest of our stay). |

Excellent location; quiet; very good heating; friendly staff;comfortable and roomy room. On a Saturday, left room at 9:00 AM returned at 3 PM and room still not made up/cleaned. Complained at front desk and room was ready in the evening. |

+ Location, only couple of feets away from the Hancock tower. - I stayed 3 nights in total and the room was not cleaned on the second day. I think this is something that you can expect. |

the location of the hotel is perfect! the environment nice, the atmosphere ok there was no internet for three days and almost no information about it, on the day of your check out you couldn't enter the room anymore because you were no longer in the system; the hotel is less luxurious than described, it was great to be able to open the window, but the window fell almost out of its frame ... the rooms were very ok though! |
