Score from 634 reviews Good
In room phone handset never connected, replenish coffee, water,by housekeeping wasn't done. Night, early morning staff pretty useless
Location, bed was great
The hotel is elegant, the position is perfect (we decided to extend our stay and the hotel applied same booking rate), rooms are large and comfortable. Free Wi-Fi. Valet is $32 but not that different from any other parking in that zone (and you have in and out privilege)
I liked how easy it was to check in and out. The room was very clean. Each day I could get new towels and clean sheets that smelled good.
Location location location! So easy to walk to everything in the French Quarter
things in the room are just a little odd. When they did the renovation they miss the little things like new electrical plugs. The holes in them are very loose and things keep falling out. Interstingly, the bathroom is on the other side of the living area from the bedroom. in total everything is nice, but sort of quaint.
The staff was very nice and helpful. The room is comfortable and the furnishings are very nice.
Location & ambience; very nicely appointed
The gym was less good than it should have been.
A mistake in the kitchen at breakfast was then resolved by the front of house staff very well. The building was lovely and well located. The room was excellent.
Parking is costly.
The staff is very attentive and friendly. Very elegant and reasonably priced with great views . Perfect location! Within walking distance of all districts.
Restaurant could benefit from more advertising and a better menu. The place is great, but hardly saw people dining there.
Historically preserved buliding. In CBD, but very close to French Quarter, and only a block away from streetcar that takes you to Garden District. Spacious rooms.
staff and room service
Bed and food was not complementary
Location is great and staff are very friendly
I didn't like the size of the room.. Also when showering the humidity of when bathing the floors got a bit slippery.
No onsite parking. Valet and off property parking.
Friendly staff went beyond to ensure we had a great time for Bachelorette party.
They could probably use a bigger business center.
The concierge was wonderful and every staff member was courteous and knowledgeable. The size of the room is a great selling point. This was spacious and quiet. This was walking distance to the convention center and art district. We loved that! Also loved the free ginger snaps.
Lovely architecture; helpful and friendly staff; sparkling clean, comfy and quiet. We would love to stay again next time we're in town.
Last day of stay, no water. Had no notice of this.
Location, safe, nice rooms
The curtains doesn't close in our Rm 201 to block the sunlight or brightness.
The hotel is unique. It's close to everything.
There was no refrigerator or microwave the room.
No stairs; had to take elevator up/down, even to 2nd floor; loud if room faces street
free wifi, coffeemaker in room; short walk to French quarter, friendly staff
We would liked to have been told that our room window was going to be blacked out from the other building four feet away. Also the weather stripping was removed or never added around the doors so they would slam very loud and lots of light through them lighting up the room.
The building is very beautiful and the rooms are simple and cozy.
The decor in the rooms is dated. It requires a different way of cleaning to keep it from looking dusty and old. I am sure the staff were doing the best they could with it. The carpet and sofas were worn and stained as well in the rooms. They need to be replaced.
The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the area.
Location was perfect for reaching everything in new orleanS. Staff was pleasant and very accommodating even after a slight miscommunication.
The only thing I didn't like was they didn't have a microwave or refrigerator for my late night munchies or snacks!!
I love the view that I had in my room number 202 and also loved the ginger snaps at the check in Desk they was wonderful!!
Most uncomfortable bed I have experienced in ages. Food in the Bistro limited and not great quality
Friendly staff, interesting building
