Since there is no breakfast area - Just the lobby of the hotel-, it was very uncomfortable to eat. In general my biggest complain about this hotel is the breakfast. We stayed here for 3 nights rather than in the city center because they were offering breakfast, but it was extremely disappointing. No hot items...Only Hard-boiled eggs, orange juice, bagels, muffins, cereals, oats, coffee and tea. It takes them ages to refill and replenish the food :-(
I'm not a demanding person, but there was an option of an English breakfast bread - But, I spent aprox. 8 minutes using the microwave, just to unfreeze the sausage, cheese and the egg inside this bread-.
The walls are not soundproof and every time my neighbors were entering or leaving their room we were able to hear absolutely everything. Even when the maids were passing with their trolleys to clean.
Although this is not an hotel's fault, I would like to mention that we were not able to open the curtains since we found a dead pigeon just below our window. All our stay no one picked the animal o cleaned up that area.
For me this hotel will be absolutely perfect (5*) if they just improve their breakfast and the eating area.
15 mins walking distance from nearest metro station -Diversey station, brown line-.Very charming and modest hotel located very close to restaurants, Walmart, Walgreens and Trader's Joe. The room size was ok, our bed was comfortable and the wifi connection was excellent. Staff at the reception were extremely kind and helpful. Since I'm a genius category on Booking.com, they let us extend our check-out for two hours...Thanks a lot for that! :-) Our flight back to Dubai was at 8PM and they stored our baggage until 5 PM, free or charge! Thanks again :-) Overall, I am satisfy with the hotel -except breakfast -, and I will recommend it to my friends and family.
