Quaint little New England town near to snow shoeing and other outdoor activites. Spa at Woodstock Inn was wonderful. Prince and Pauper Restaurant amazing food and ambience. Sugarbush Farm cheese and maple syrup tasting worth the tricky drive!
The room we first got was okay as it was tight for a couple with a young kid. The lady at the reception was very accommodating and have us a more spacious room. Much better for two nights.
The staff, while very good and personable, can do a better job during breakfast. They seemed fairly chaotic on MLK day maybe because it was the end of a long weekend?
Room booked and requested did not match
The inn was so cozy and comfortable, a place to totally relax. The staff was so accomodating, even surprised us with a bottle of champagne upon arrival. Highly recommend for a quick romantic get away.
Very comfortable, quiet room with nice TV and thoroughly enjoyed the Keurig coffee maker.
A charming town full of walkable areas with shops, restaurants, and green space. We went at leaf peeping time, and it was great. Area has covered bridges, open space, rivers, a gorge, views to die for.
Hotel staff just average in attitude. Nothing extra.
We liked that we could walk to restaurants and shopping from the Hotel. Restaurants were very good.
Our room was small , not like it was pictured in the brochure. But the bed was comfortable
A bit overpriced, esp if you did not nec. take advantage of resort activities. There should be a dual-tiered pricing system for those who mainly want a comfortable place to stay.
Woodstock itself Hotel outstanding
We loved that the Inn was quite and beautiful and the bed was comfortable. I have an allergy to feathers so I was pleased that the pillows and comforter was not down filled. Our view from the room was nice and the bathroom was well stocked with items like cotton balls and makeup wipes and a little sewing kit. The sewing kit came in handy for me as I had to mend a top. The village itself is quaint with an old style country store with Vermont cheeses and miscellaneous local stuff. We ate at the Inn which was fabulous but another night at a Caribbean restaurant. We hiked at the Quechee gorge and then stopped in the village for some homemade icecream! The highlight of my trip was a stop at the King Arthur flour mill in Norwich about 40 minutes away. Loved the village and would do it again in a heartbeat.
Everything! Beautiful building and grounds, great accommodations, friendly and helpful staff.
One of America's special places in a very special, very beautiful and unique town, Woodstock, VT.
Facility and staff
The whole experience was great-the staff, the facility, the food, our room.. Hotel is located in a small quaint town within walking distance to shops and restaurants.. Our visit to Billing farm and museum was enjoyable and made us realize how beautiful the great outdoors really is.. It was a pleasant weekend
There wasn't anything that we didn't like!!!
Everyone working here was warm, personable and very accommodating. The restaurant, lobby, library and gift shop were welvome features & perfectly appointed. The room was beautiful, updated, fresh and modern while still seeming appropriate to a country inn! Just wonderful!
I found some dust on the bathroom paper holder and there were some minor repairs going on outside. THAT'S IT!!! Nothing else was anything less than fantastic!
Very friendly staff. Lovely location for hiking and exploring Vermont.
