Everything was great, the size of the room was perfect for our family of 6. The staff was almost non existent which was nice, it made me feel more at home, but if you needed anything they were there to help in a timely manner. I honestly will not stay anywhere else when I go to vernal.
I think the breakfast selection could have been better.
Clean and quiet
Room was freezing. Gave us space heaters.
Clean, quiet and the price was right
Staff was nowhere to be found... note on the office door with a phone number to call if you need something. No control of room temp. When we said we were cool they gave us a small electric heater to plug in.
Off the beaten path. Low traffic area. Friendly bunk-house atmosphere.
Rooms do not have individual controls for heating. Last time I stayed here, it was summer - this time it was winter and froze my tail off.
quiet place, friendly staff, clean, nice breakfast
Price, comfortable, clean & free breakfast
location was good for me just out of town made it a quiet setting and easy for me to get to where I needed to go. staff was great very helpful
It had comfortable beds and a good shower but small bathroom.
The refrigerator in the room was unpluged so there was no where to put the food from our cooler, it took a day to get the refrigerator cool enough to use. We stayed two days and there was no housekeeping, trash was not emptied nothing tidied up. I was like staying with a relative instead of being a paying customer at a motel.
Had laundry facilities (small fee), parking, felt safe, small drive to town and dinosaurs, staff made good food recommendations. V clean room. Good price.
Breakfast was a bit basic but fine. Would have liked to be closer to town so could have a drink!
Very nice and well kept grounds. Friendly owners. Very clean room. And I liked the optional gratuity envelope for the cleaning staff.
My only complaint is that the air conditioner in our room was noisy, but it did work well.
dead plants bugs at outside doorway not the room we reserved staff of 1 who was not very friendly nor welcoming It felt like he was reciting something he had memorized.
Great value for money. Comfortable room and had seperate lounge and dining area. Tea coffee onhand in seperate room closeby. Fridge. Had basic breakfast in price. Informal and clean.
Couple of miles out of main town on hwy 189. No coffeemaker, microwave in room.
Hard beds, unable to control own ac, free breakfast was not a breakfast at all a pile of bread for toast and a box of cold cereal. Not at all with the few bucks you save.
Price was great! I'm ok with it being small and offering less than the big chains. I don't use wifi so didn't try it.
It was too cold. The smaller, older system didn't have individual controls in each room. I could only shut the register which ended up being kind of noisy. The second room I staying in a few days later wasn't noisy so I was ok with that. I would have been more comfortable if they added dead bolts to the doors. The only lock was the one in the door knob.
Very basic hotel. It was clean and had a comfortable bed. They have a very basic continental breakfast. This is slices of bread, wheat or white and English muffins and cereal. They also have coffee, tea and milk.
Had to call staff on phone to find out how to checkout. They did not have a hair drier. The controls to the air conditioner are in the hall and control about four rooms and they keep it locked. The bad thing about this it is either on or off there is no low setting. You are either freezing or burning.
a basic motel at a basic price. nothing special but nothing to complain about either...
Comfy beds, large room, good wifi signal, quiet room #13, blissful air conditioning.
Everything was great until breakfast, I went 15 minutes after it started and the coffee pot was empty, with no one around to make a new one, and no possibility of the guests to make their own pot.
Clean room, artsy decorations, nice towels.
Blinds but no drapes on window. No deadbolt on door. No security chain on door. Door lock was a standard house lock with a regular key for entry. Once in the room, the door required manually turning a locking button to lock/unlock the door. No temperature controls or air conditioner in room. No ice in ice machine. Front desk was not staffed; had to call a phone number to get help. Bathroom sink vanity higher than standard making it harder to use.
If you are staying more than one day, they do not make up beds or change towels/or clean bathroom. However, they will provide clean towels whenever you ask for them.
The noisy clown bed
Very nice family owned hotel. It was obvious that a lot of work went into the motel. It felt like I was staying in a home not a buildingm
Price, location, quiet.
Trash barrell just outside entrance door overflowing during entire stay, full and disgusting bucket of cigarette butts next to overflowing trash barrell, found Mexican food container from previous guest(s) left in refrigerator, found previously used plastic glass left under bed, many breakfast items consumed and not replenished and all tables full of dirty dishes an hour before the scheduled end of breakfast, desk closed and unattended most of the time - with a cell phone number provided if service needed. A shame, as the place has a lot of potential - so I give it a "low" good.
It was all OK
Limited breakfast , but OK
The WiFi worked well.
The advertised amenities, which were why we chose the hotel, didn't exist! They were a total fabrication! There are NO TempurPedic beds. No flat screen TVs in the rooms. It clearly had not been 'recently renovated' as stated. There was one person on duty - a new guy - who was very nice, but couldn't keep up with demand. He said that the online booking sites had put those things up without their input - but TempurPedic beds and recently renovated are not a standard thing that would go in without the knowledge of the hotel. He said they were 'planning' on renovating it. They recently had an issue with their laundry so there were no towels or pillowcases when we checked in - in the early evening. The room with the continental breakfast was still dirty from the morning including large boxes of trash we had to navigate around to get to our room. The breakfast was very sparse.
room was clean.
booked a larger room, gave me smaller room alongside of busy road, lots of noise.Had a a/c vent but could feel no air.Asked not to be put in room number 1 because it was next to breakfast area so more noise.Told that was only room they had left. This was an ADA room,I told them I didn't need that, they said no problem.they told me that they would try to move me to another room next day.At about 9pm. they knocked on my door saying they needed an ADA room ,somewhere they came up with another room for me.This time A/C worked for small amounts of time, almost like rationing.I was to stay 3 days but I left after first night ,it was not a place for me.I own a small lodge and saw we had different ideas on customer satisfaction.
