Very clean & spacious apartment, with a real luxury feel. Five minutes walk from a subway station, delicatessen & huge 24 hour supermarket. Quiet neighbourhood. Very pleasant & helpful housekeeper available at all times. Jacuzzi bath was great to have. Breakfast is delivered in an insulated picnic basket. You will need to ask for disposable crockery on arrival.
Perfect for having a place on our own, with terras and kitchen and not having to stay in a hotel
It would be nice if there was a Lxure closer to the city..
In a quiet, family neighborhood. Near the F line. A straight shot to Manhattan or Coney Island. They let us check in early and were very helpful! We would stay again!
Did not receive the email with the lock codes 24 hrs before arrival. Fortunately, the staff was there and were able to help us into our room. Also, this is a walk up building and may not be suitable for those with mobility issues.
Location was safe area. Very close to MTA station.
The entrance way is extremely narrow.
Large, trendy suite with COMFY beds. Also, enjoyed the complimentary breakfast they hang on your day in the morning. Great Television, Wifi and overall a lovely room. The marble and fixtures felt very upscale.
Location: In the middle of a hasidic Jewish area so there are no real coffee shops, bars/restaurants to walk to. BUT the train is right down the street and around the corner The building needs some updating due to general wear and tear. For instance, the window in the living room didn't lock properly (safety concern) and the window in the bedroom was very stiff and wouldn't open all the way. The jetted bath tub was wonderful...just too bad that the jets didn't work in it :(
Location is good, kitchen equipment is really poor. Living room was leaking after a heavy rain. Separation of double-room appartment is terrible
Nice place, very clean, quiet. Loved the decor.
Full kitchen, but nothing is there! It needs to be put in the description that nothing in the kitchen (plates, forks, etc. are by request only) is available. When booking full kitchen, it is expected that you will be able to use it, but not in this hotel. The place is Kosher, which is very nice, but people need to be aware.
- clean - spacious - friendly staff - quiet neighborhood - F-train to Manhattan at 3 min's walk
I liked the location, kitchen, and that there was no front desk.
Maybe the mattress could have been a bit better.
I'm a seasoned traveler and I've never had the pleasure of staying in such a beautiful place! The building looks as if it was plucked off the streets of Paris but the interior has the most elegant, modern, and fresh feel to it! The suite has a great jaccuzzi and the beds were so comfortable we had a very difficult time getting up! They give a few options for breakfast which arrives in an adorable wicker basket. This place is situated in a sweet neighborhood with a train station conveniently located at the end of the block. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and we're looking forward to vacation here again!
Was nice little stat
The spa bath didnt wrk itt shot out black stuff into the water we didnt knw how to wrk the hear n dere was no one to fix issues
Lxure is first place I was ever was where you get full value for your money. The place is completely new so everything is fresh and clean. We loved the décor. Staff was great, anything we needed we had someone within 5 minutes. All for all I would recommend for family and friends and whoever reads review. Thanks lxure
I really appreciate the help from the housekeeper, Debbie. She was very prompt in answering our requests and also very helpful and initiative to help us made our stay comfortable. She's also very friendly and understanding with our requests. The place is cosy and the furnitures and ambience of the place is really luxurious and classy. The place is pretty near the subway station, just 5-10mins walk away. On a few nights we returned back after 10pm, it's still pretty safe to walk back even though it's dark and hardly any souls around. As long as you're not walking alone, it's safe. Complimentary breakfast was hung on the door as long as you hang the breakfast slip on your door by 10pm the night before. It comes with pastries, coffee sachets, cereal and milk which were good enough for us! Overall, it's a very pleasant and comfortable stay!
The only cons of this place is how the apartment is in a building that has no lift. We were traveling with quite a number of luggages and we had some problems lugging our luggages up the stairs for 3 levels. Other than that, this place will be really good and comfy for light travelers. Being located at brooklyn, it takes about 30-40mins to travel down to midtown which is Times Square, Manhattan area. So it takes pretty much time of the day to travel to and fro. Other option is to take the sub down to York St station (~15mins) and walk down the Brooklyn bridge into the city area which is quite a good exercise to do in the morning.
Really close to the Metro station, no more than 2 minutes walk. Great wi-fi connection. Amazing memory foam bed.
Rather far from Manhattan, takes at least 25-30 minutes on the Metro to get over the river.
* very good hotel, good staff, clean, quiet, close to transportation facilities
* no safe
The size of our suite was a major plus. Rather than feeling claustrophobic in a small hotel room we got this spacious suite furnished with so many comforts like leather sofa. And large table chairs flat screen tv with a lot of channels. Spotless marble floors and tall ceilings , glass doors leading to a private garden made us feel like we were in a private villa in france Breakfast was delivered to our door started off our day great. Service was friendly and the neighborhood safe. The subway was down the block and in 20 min we were in manhattan. This is a great place to stay for a very affordable price .
Was not an issue that there was no lobby because the room comes with a suite which has very comfortable lounging
Debbie was incredibly helpful and couldn't do enough for us! The apartment was gorgeous and in a safe neighbourhood in Brooklyn. We couldn't have asked for more.
This is becoming my de facto place when coming to nyc for business Every time I come here I find that the experience is getting better. The staff is very attentive to all my needs. Space in NYC is a luxury. It's amazing to get a nice living room and amenities like a full size fridge at the price point of a hotel room. Very highly recommended.
I have stayed at the LXURE several times it is my all time favorite in New York. It is conveniently located only 35 minutes from midtown Manhattan. Nice quiet neighborhood. The rooms are spacious, spotless and really luxurious. Floors are heated marble floors which we loved on cold New York morning. Lovely Complimentary breakfast left right at the door. A really great place can't wait to return.
*Rooms were even nicer than the pictures! 1St time i've had that happening! They were immaculate and so modern and sleek my wife and I absolutely adored it! *The service was top notch literally like The Ritz. Actually wen I mentioned it to the housekeeper she told me she did work in the ritz! Lol. I arrived in middle of the night and the housekeeper was very courteous and patient. *I loved the continental breakfast that was served daily to our room where we were able to enjoy it in the privacy of our suites but not like all other hotels where they provide you with a tiny table. We had a nice large table with flowers! *And last but not least the location was just perfect! Got to see various different cultures in brooklyn ranging from the orthodox jewish community to the indian and chinese to the real hip brooklynites! The train is a block away from the hotel and a 30 min commute to Manhattan! Will definitely be staying in the Lxure next time we visit the Big Apple!!
Access extremely difficult through very tight hallways and steep stairs. Very dirty. Significant amount of dust and dirt under kitchen cabinet. Would NOT recommend!
