Not sure why a hotel of this caliber and expense would not offer complimentary coffee in the morning in the lobby? That's a first in my travels, and to be honest, not appropriate.
Staff very friendly and accommodating. Rooms very comfortable and within walking distance for most of downtown. Only twi blocks to House of Blues. Beautiful views
If you are a couple using phones and tablets the Wifi bill for the weekend runs about $180. Much cheaper to pay overages on any phone plan. They don't charge for using the cable TV so I don't know why the use of the Wifi is so expensive
We really liked the location and the free entry to the night club. Also, the spa was very relaxing.
We never got any of the 3 refridgerators that were in the room to work, and the shower was kinda weird and would splash water everywhere. other than that, it was excellent.

Although beautiful and big the bathroom was poorly designed - poor lighting, no where to put anything down, no place to hang your towel except on one small hook. Need a towel rack to dry towels on and hooks for clothing, etc. In shower only a metal shelf that the small soap bars slide through the slots so no where to put your soap. Don't know who designs these bathrooms but it should be mandatory they spend a night in the room.

Construction is going on at the intersection right outside, which made it noisy and more difficult to get a cab. Once this is done, it will be great!

Certain rooms are susceptible to the noise from the railway below The hotel very kindly offered to move us. The roof top bar was often closed for private parties in an evening
Everything was really good.
They should have a oven and a stove at the kitchenette. We had our baby daughter and were expecting that.
The only thing I would quibble with is your packaging of breakfast. I had to line item my breakfast (fruit, bagel, coffee) which is the traditional "continental" and it ended up being very expensive. Some more combo deals would be great

Chambermaids knocked persistently on the door waking us up at 9am on Saturday morning to find out when they should come back and then came back again one hour later. The concierge failed to come back to us on a number of occasions, however, he did recommend a really good sushi restaurant on one night. Being told that we wouldn't be able to go on the roof bar on Saturday night despite the fact were staying at the hotel. We were told the wait was at least 45 minutes. We only stayed at the hotel because of the bar.
The staff was on top of everything. The Rooftop Bar and restaurant was quite nicely appointed, well staffed and very popular with local crowds.
The food selection at the Rooftop Bar was really weak, no salads, microscopic sized Fish tacos, lol ! I should have gone to their lobby restaurant for dinner. The room key must be used to get to your floor, this can be quite a problem as the elevator is racing up and down with a crowd inside. It seems they have problems with loud room parties, I did not have a problem.

Staff was extremely friendly and willing to work with us to resolve a room issue. Great location, close to the river and Millenium Park. Close to multiple CTA stops. Our views were fantastic and the room amenities top rate.
We were given a suite on the 26th floor, but were not told the nightclub was on the 27th. The noise level was extreme. On a positive note, the staff moved us the next day to another room. The other inconvenience was always having to show a key at the entrance due to the popularity of the club.
The hotel was lovely, clean and very modern. The staff was excellent - especially the concierge staff! Wonderful, extremely helpful people! The location couldn't have been better. It was walking distance to most things we wanted to do & literally across the street from a CTA station which made it easy to get to attractions further away. They piped nature sounds into the hallways -which was neat. The sounds changed depending on the time of day. Just a neat feature.
The club called "The Roof" caused a lot of traffic through the lobby Friday through Sunday evenings. Also, it made one of the elevators unavailable and caused the staff to require I show my room key & be searched in order to enter the hotel. I was warned at check-in this would happen - but that really didn't make it more delightful when it happened. Also, the hotel increased my room rate over what booking.com quoted (& I prepaid) and I had to pay $176.40 when I checked out. That made me VERY unhappy.

I didn't like the late night party on the roof top, couldn't sleep, to loud.
Perfect location and the friendliest, extremely helpful staff always pointed us in the right direction whether it was guiding us to the best deep dish Chicago style pizza joint or the perfect little jazz club.
For such a prestige hotel I was very disappointed that they did not offer free wifi in the rooms. Also, their Buisness Centre charges $5 per 10 minutes of internet use and $1 per printed page! Wifi was included at every other hotel I stayed at while I was road tripping across the states and we were paying almost triple the price for The Wit. It should be available in each guests room especially considering it was free in the lobby and on their rooftop patio.
Right in the heart of everything going on in downtown Chicago! Staff was super nice and exceptionally knowledgeable about Chicago.
Our room was right above the Elevated train. But, we got used to the noise after a couple of days. And, what do you expect for downtown Chicago. It's a noisy place!

I didn't like the other buildings blocking my view
The location was great, the staff at the front desk was amazing. The process to check in and out were easy.
The beds and pillows were very uncomfortable. There was nothing special or fancy about the rooms for the price I was charged. Wednesday we were treated very poorly on the rooftop lounge. We were with a small wedding party, Adam, the manager was very kind and seated us. About 30 minutes later we were made to move very rudely by another gentleman in a black suit. He offered to seat us in the cabana area for $100 per person. Very rude and unaccommodating.
