Score from 1542 reviews Very good
I was on a party floor, near the elevator banks. The doors to all the rooms were heavy and secure, but did not block noise from the hallways and were very loud when opening and closing.
The walk-in shower, makeup mirror, and a memory foam day bed, plus a window that actually opened and climate control that actually WORKED were wonderful. The birds tweeting and rooster crowing on the PA were subtle and, yes, witty.
Paying extra for wifi. It's like paying extra for electricity.
Found the location excellent to our destination to downtown Chicago and the hotel was clean and comfortable.
We had a king suite on the 26th floor. Unfortunately, there is a nightclub on the 27th floor. If you're looking for a quieter stay request a lower floor.
Very clean modern hotel with great amenities!
- The sliding bathroom door, just as wide as the door width and no lock. - Room lighting, though have study lamp at working desk, still prefer a brighter room with adjustable lighting.
- Professional staff team. Special thx to Eric, really an experience architect. - Doormen are also very helpful - Restaurant offer warm service and good food, wide choices - Excellent location - light music at doorstep,
Bathroom Door did not shut all the way and there was no lock on the door
Our room never got any colder than 78 degrees. We had to prop open the window to lower the temp and be able to sleep. Front desk stated it was their new thermostat system and to just move the temp down two degrees at s time. That's fine, except when house keeping would come in to clean the room and leave the curtains wide open. The room was consistently above 80 each afternoon we stopped back at the hotel.
Central location, walking distance to the loop, Michigan Ave., and Navy Pier.
Hotel did not give us our correct room because I used booking.com. they were not apologetic and offered nothing to make up for it and the double room with the view of the alley cost as much as the king I had reserved. At checkout staff didn't even ask if we enjoyed our stay.
Location was good.
The view from our room was another wall...
The staff was amazing and welcoming from the moment we step foot into the hotel till the time that we left... We were greeted with a couple of fresh cookies. When we got to the room a staff member brought us some chocolate covered strawberries for our anniversary. The Roof Top bar was a great time and we had a blast at State and Lake with live music....
We were greeted warmly at checkout by a gentleman who made us feel welome. And, he presented us with two gigantic chocolate cookies after the check in process was complete. Our room was very comfortable and modern without being pretentious, and the bed was wonderful. Everything was comfortable. Just a lovely night.
Night club and honest workers. We left behind a watch and when we called they actually had it.
Everything was very pleasing. The room was magnificent, the staff was VERY friendly and courteous, the food ordered from room service was very tasty, hot and arrived in timely fashion.
- The rooftop bar that was advertised was closed for a private party, which was disappointing - You have to pay to use the WiFi - The card readers were kind of a pain - it was difficult to insert the card to use in the elevator and to get into the room.
- Nicely decorated - Clean - Wonderful, friendly staff - Cookies upon check-in - Good view
No pool :(
Loved the location and the view
No bad experience to report
Location , cleanliness , rooms with everything working
Something about the way the shower worked caused water to spray onto the bathroom floor. At breakfast, there was sports-related viewing that wasn't really appropriate for children ( some kind of no-gloves boxing match). I wouldn't take my grandchildren to a sports bar for breakfast.
Location was great and staff was very friendly and helpful. Warm cookies were a big hit too.
On Sunday night bar options were fair
Like wifi and to use the business center? Not happy about that
Cleanliness in room
Sheets had too much starch so made them scratchy; the sink in the bathroom looked great but was terrible to use. Need an ottoman for the chair so someone can relax to read a book.
Nice hotel, great location, restaurant was very good. Staff were very nice.
Location, size of room, staff
THAT YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR WIFI
EVERYTHING WAS SUPER GREAT !!!
Wi fi cost
Decor was nice
Room wasn't ready when we arrived.
Next to public transit, rooms and hotel staff were very nice.
When we arrived, they said they could find only 1 of our 3 reservations. So, we took the 1 room they could find, & accepted 2 new rooms (at, of course, a much higher rate than what we'd booked for). After returning home from my vacation with my children, the charges for the 2 rooms they could not find were charged to my credit card, in addition to the charges for the 3 rooms in which we stayed. I've been trying since to contact their accounting dept to clear this up, but NO ONE is helping me. The Wit stole over $1,200.00 from me & I want it back!! DO NOT go here, they do this on purpose to charge a higher rate, & then rip you off on top of that!!
