Everything: our stay was really awful at Thirty Thirty Hotel, I think the worst hotel we have ever visited. First day: the reception changed our room because of dirty sheets, there was a lot of hair and stains inside the bed. Third day: before going to sleep we heard some noises under the bed and looking better we found a m o u s E. My girlfriend was really scared and, another time, the reception changed our room; they offered us two free nights and a breakfast but for us it's impossible to forget what happened. What is more generally the cleanness of all the 3 rooms visited wasn't good and some days they give us some towels which were not cleaned. We will never return to Thirty Thirty Hotel.

This hotel is a real mixed bag and will come down to how well you can survive without creature comforts. The plus points were: a comfortable bed, good shower, Ipod dock, good sized television, good location. The reception area is quite nice and a useful meeting place. There are lots of good places to eat nearby too: Dos Caminos, Bella Napoli, Naanush, Crooked Knife and California Kitchen, all within short walking distance. Also a nice Starbucks nearby (useful for free Wi Fi) and good for shopping on 34th Street with Macy's, Old Navy and lots of other chain stores. I didn't like the standard of cleaning - my room was only deep cleaned once and I complained about ants due to a bread roll being thrown behind a sideboard by previous tenant but this was not rectified, despite repeatedly pointing this out. There is a very cheeky Wi-Fi charge of $13.50 a day which I felt should be waived if one is staying more than three nights. Staff are polite and perfunctory but came across as reluctant to help out when needed. The hotel is currently going renovation which I didn't mind but I do think that had it been nearer my room, I would have been annoyed. Also, my room was extremely compact (I have stayed in nyc before & was expecting a small room but not that small!). I asked for the first three mornings to change my room as I had a five night stay but was told there was no chance so eventually made my peace with a smaller room!

The hotel staff were all very accommodating. I received help getting my babies & all our bags out of the car & up to our room. They were kind enough to bring a fridge to our room for my daughters' milk, free of any additional charges. Almost all NYC hotels charge for all extras. They gave us directions to a few nearby restaurants we wanted to try. & lastly, they kept our bags even after we checked out, so that we could get more done without having to get our car from the garage. Had a wonderful stay. Will return. We asked for a non-smoking room. The room was lovely, but stunk of stale cigarettes. So bad in fact, that all my clothing (unworn) from my suitcase smelled when I got home. Also, was not made aware that they were undergoing construction throughout the main lobby of the hotel (I guess that's why we got our room for such a great price:). I also wish they would have a ramp out front. When we checked in, they didn't mind allowing me to use the entrance for the handicapped. However, when we checked out, I rang for assistance & the gentleman was hesitant to use his key to let me use it. He suggested I pick up my double stroller with my twin daughters in it & carry them down the stairs.

Location Room was so tiny I could reach both sides of the room by stretching out my hands. I was a single, but this was truly beyond acceptable.

Very well renovated, the new décor is attractive, although a little dark in the entrance/lobby. The staff are friendly and approachable. The rooms were clean - we got moved from the 4th to the 12th floor (same room type) which had a better view and a slightly larger bathroom. The standard rooms are not massive, but actually we didn't spend much time there because we were out all day seeing the city. They have brand new memory foam mattresses which my wife loved but I don't personally find that comfortable - it's personal taste. The bar downstairs is very reasonably priced, and the staff are happy to bring your drinks to you if your sitting on the sofa's rather than at the bar itself. Please note, the renovation means that it is being re-named to Lola, and access is currently from 29th street. The corridors/landings were slightly smelly, but nothing worth making a fuss over; it never smelt in the rooms.

Soft beds This was the first trip to New York for my nephew, and he choice the hotel based on its looks and star rating, we where very disappointed that the lobby was being renovated, if we had know about the works we would not have booked the hotel. The free to use computer was out of action and no alternative was provided, which made checking in on line impossible, as my nephew is a very nervous flyer and wanted a seat near the front by a window. The last problem was that your confirmation should read Total room price “excluding taxes” as it came as a shock that the bill come to a lot more then we expected. Left with a bad impesion of new york

Location! If u want to travel around the main attractions and shop in Macy’s, Forever 21, Footlocker etc, u should live there! Hotel room is very clean and quiet. Beds are very comfortable. The price is relatively very high according to the attitudes of staff there. There are no coffee machine, free access to internet. The worst is the staff sereves very very badly. I hate this hotel!

Very good and nice room for your money! Bathroom was clean, new and modern (like the bedroom) and relatively large. The bedroom is a bit more tightly spaced, but adequate. Would definitely stay again. Convenient central location too. Recommendable! Staff was a bit stressed and/or chaotic at times. Maybe a bit understaffed or inefficiently managed? They were friendly enough though and we experienced no problems, so really not a lot to clomplain about.

Location is good. However in this area are lots of other hotels to choose from as well. The restaurant is ok. The matresses are horribly disconfortable, too soft. Me and my friend couldn't sleep deeply and rest, and we were tired during the day. Too noisy!! The windows insulation is deficient and you can hear the street noises during the night (and it's NY, noise all the time!!). Also, you hear constantly the noise from the building ventilation fans. Bathroom is ok, but rooms are too small. We tipped the dorman 4 dollars for bringing our luggage in a cart and he still complained! Unbelievable.

The Hotel has an excellent location. 2 Blocks away from the subway, Starbucks and a nice bakery to have lunch right around the corner and good price. The room is okay, a bit small if you have lots of luggage ( as I did), but the bed was confy, the bathroom is modern, clean and nice shower to relax after walking all day long around the city. The front desk employees are proactives, friendly ( except the girl in the night shift and the bellboy). Overwiew: Me and my mom enjoyed our stay at Thirty- Thirty and I highly recommend the hotel if you´re looking for fair rates ofr the service offered.

Hotel pretty well located. Nice design lobby, but dark. We had a horrible stay (begining of January). The staff was not nice and not helpfull. The concierge leaves at 8:00pm, so no chance to have any reco or help for the evening. Our room was ok, but the view awful. Our window shades were always closed, because there is a building (100m) in front of our window. The hotel was pretty noisy, because the redesign work was still on. The Fitness was not available and the guests needed to go to another place 2-3 block fare away from the hotel...not really convenient in winter. I really don't recommend this hotel! A shame for the price that we paid.

I really appreciated the cozy well designed room at a great price in a part of town I prefer. The room could have been better prepared: lack of space for items in bathroom, lack of batteries in remote and smoke alarm, non smoking room that smelled a bit smoky, more hotel info in room.

Location Design hotel yes- dark lobby but with small rooms, if you have a suitcase, dont bring it as there wont be room for it in your room. The so-called breakfast is in a next door restaurant who has bad food and poor service Gym you have to walk two blocks to get to Concierge was one of the slowest and most rude I have ever met, seemed like he would be most happy if there were no guests, maybe time for him to retire
