My friend and I recently stayed at Sixty Beverley Hills for an express LA 'shop over'. The staff, amenities and location of this property are all outstanding. We loved the trendy boutique rooms and decor. Great value for money. Best part was we were only a short stroll to Rodeo Drive and restaurants, very convenient.
Lighting in room was a little dark.
Enjoyed the rooftop bar, location convenience to nearby meetings and restaurant on ground floor.
Can not think of anything I did not like.
Rooms were modern and nicely maintained! Location was ideal. Loved the pool area and the bar! Noon checkout time was so unexpected, but appreciated!
1. Smeely room 2. Smaller room 3. The love motel kind of atmosphere 4. Charged for two nights even if I stayed there only for a night
location style cleanliness service
showers not so good only paid wifi
Seats should be first come first serve. We got comfortable at a table and wanted to have a drink and we were told we had to move. There was no where to go, so we left.
Location, staff, pillows
No free wifi:(. Even smaller hotel has free wifi
Bathroom was well appointed.
Charges placed on our bank account before we had stayed a night. The smell of candle when in the reception area. Tired furnishings and poor lighting. Sorry not to our liking. Mistake in picking this hotel.
Close to rodeo drive. The rooftop bar was great.
Parking was expensive.
Friendly and helpful staff
WiFi was an additional charge not included in the room rate
Staff has a poor attitude. They never want to help you w anything. When u ask them a question it's as if your bothering them. Besides the fact the rooms are small, they are dirty and the walls r so thin you can hear EVERYTHING in the room next to you. This is a 2 star hotel at best..
Staff were very polite and friendly, (the rating would have been an "Excellent" save for the fact that we were not told that the Hotel would reserve the full amount of the stay on my card and the funds were locked for the remainder of the holiday). The valet parking is very good (albeit pricey), and the staff providing this service are very efficient and helpful. The hotel is close to a lovely café (Lazy Daisy)a few blocks down on 9010 Wilshire Boulevard, which we went to for breakfast every day, Daisy is brilliant! The location is very close to Rodeo Drive (5 min walk away). The rooftop pool is wonderful and there are stunning views of the City, we felt very privileged up there! The room was comfortable and very clean.
We were not told upon arrival that my card would be pre-authorised for the full amount, and that this would then be held for 7-10 days. We were then charged the full amount, resulting in my account being overdrawn a few days later, which caused us a lot of stress and anxiety. Eventually, we worked out where the missing funds may have gone, and contacted the hotel again. Initially the staff member we spoke to was unsure as to whether the funds could be accounted for by the Hotel, but he eventually explained that they would have been pre-authorised, over and above payment, and they could take between 7-10 days to appear in my account again. We have since reported the matter to the Sixty chain and they have been helpful.
The roof top poolside cabanas and bar offered us spectacular views of Beverly and Hollywood Hills. Nice spot for a glass of wine before dinner. The valets and attendants were awesome! Really great service all around.
Honestly, there wasn't anything about the hotel I didn't like, and I look forward to staying at other locations of this Hotel Group in the future.
The location can not be beat!
The furnishings of the room are a bit tired. Huge seam down the middle of old brown carpet in my room where carpet had been stretched. Carpet is worn out.
I loved the lobby, Very modern and clean. The room and bathroom was very clean as well.
Valet was alittle unorganized. Delt with one person at the front desk that was EXTEREMLY rude.
The location was good and the roof top view is great.
Fee for internet, a bottle of water and coffee/tea. The furniture in the room has seen better days.
Great location. Excellent service will be back for sure.
They charged me 15$ after I checked out, luckily I was still in the area, I went back to them and they told me a bottel opener was missing from my room. I have NEVER seen that opener in the room. They should have checked the room before a customers leave NOT after they pay and check out. Rude !!! No free wifi EXCEPT for some people, when I asked I was told these are with different rate than mine!!. Bath tub was not working properly , they fixed it twice .hotel is dark and dull. Very weired design . They didn't give late check out not even one hour extra.
The views from the roof top pool are stunning. The staff are really friendly and made you feel like you were valued by them.
Location and was great for Beverly Hills business. Easy check in and out, very friendly staff.
Rooms a little too dark, mirrors on the ceiling?...(if you're into that sort of thing). A little out dated.
Hotel was in a great location for visiting many of the tourist attractions in LA Welcome was great and the hotel staff extremely helpful and responsive. Room was luxurious with great views over the LA skyline and a view of the Hollywood sign (which the valet pointed out) Bed was comfortable and the room facilities fairly good Roof terrace was lovely and the pool fairly sizeable on the top floor of the hotel. Views in the day or evening were also great.
My room was on floor 8 and directly under the roof terrace and bar. It was particularly noisy and sounded like elephants were moving furniture at 3am in the morning. I complained to the hotel reception and they credited the cost of wi-fi back to me. Wi-fi in the rooms is expensive and an extra charge ($15 per 24 hours) Valet was also extra at $38 per evening but this seems to be standard and not as expensive as other hotels I stayed at on my trip down the Pacific Coast Highway (Santa Barbara and San Diego). Room was fairly dark and while this seemed to fit with the look at feel of the hotel, it was quite difficult to get ready.
The staff - very courteous and understanding. Rooftop bar and pool, great drinks, great bar staff and great food. Room was dark but ambient... very romantic.
No free wifi and expensive parking... but that is not dissimilar to all of Beverly Hills
Very Small rooms
Experience at check-in was wonderful. Small details were well taken care of and getting key to the room was a breeze.
I stayed with them for 5 nights and I noticed that the used glasses were not washed on certain days.
