Its a great hotel. Very New York style, urban, clean, my room was big maybe cuz I upgraded it. The bed was comfortable, toilet was clean, TV was dope. The laundry service was the only thing to criticise. How could they classify 2 of my undershirts as dress shirts and charged me 10$ on each? There is no way a collar-less black cotton shirt a dress shirt. |

the design and layout of the room was brilliant. and the location is amazing. only a few design features..the faucets for the sink and the shower were a bit difficult to use. |

This hotel is exquisite! I would certainly stay there over and over again. The location is perfect - right in the middle of the lowere east side within easy walking distance to both the village and soho. The staff was tremendous and there is a beautiful "members and guests only" bar that opens at night on the 7th floor with breathtaking views of the city. |

Nice, spacious rooms, very good location for downtown/LES exploration. Got an extremely smelly smokingroom upon arrival, even though we had booked a non-smoking room. No chance for a new room same day, got moved eventually late next day - resulting in smelly clothes and bad sleep. Also negative; no free wifi, expensive inroom movies ($15), poor room-service selection. |

Housekeeping did a really nice job! The room was amazingly clean when we returned to the room every day. The gym was quite nice and the pool would be awesome in the summer. The location is one of the best in the city with a ton of amazing restaurants and bars nearby. The architects of the building must have given no consideration to soundproofing. We heard doors slamming throughout the night and the people in the room next to us going at it (loudly) for close to four hours. We didn't get a good nights sleep any of the nights we were there (it didn't help that the beds weren't that comfortable). Some of the staff were great but the staff in the lounge on the second floor seemed a little out of it. It was also a little strange that the hotel doesn't allow late check-out (anything after 12 noon incurs a half-day charge). |

The hotel is cool, quiet, and nice. Amazing neighborhood if you like Bohemian. The Studio King Suite was the perfect size and the views perfect. I am sure the hotel is fantastic in the summer with the outdoor pool. The concierge was not very helpful and sent us to several mediocre places. |

We were upgraded to a great room on the 17th floor. Great Views. Problems with elevator. Did not work one afternoon and could not use elevator to go to another floor the next day. |

Everything, it was a great hotel with super friendly and helpful staff! I was completely happy at the hotel, slept very well, quiet room. Would not have changed a thing. |

the room -- small but spectacular (the view!). the bed -- not noticeably great, but we both slept unusually well. the restaurant -- again, can't put my finger on why, but the food was extraordinary. the staff, throughout the hotel, was lovely. It's a little short on closet space -- literally, if you have a long coat. |

liked the food of the restaurant, enjoyed the gym, nice shower in room, great view of Manhattan. ambiance of restaurant felt old fashioned and did not have a lively atmosphere. dd not want to sit there having breakfast because there is no view and it feels as if it is evening and you are not in NY at all.... |

Loved the floor to ceiling view of the city, plus it's a great neighbourhood for food, boutiques, comedy, and subway is just across the road. Be prepared to be the least hip person in the foyer, and that includes the staff. |
