We were there for the Eclipse which was amazing!!!
We were there for the Eclipse which was amazing!!! We were in the perfect spot Bob Noble Park. The dog park was great. My boys loved it and people were super friendly. The National Quilt Museum was amazing. It had a wide diversity of work. The flood wall murals were an unexpected find. So interesting to see the history of Paducah shown through art. Rafferty’s restaurant was the best. The food was so good and the boys were welcome. The only con was that Starbucks was glacially slow.

Lots of historical buildings to see.
Lots of historical buildings to see. For quilters, the Quilt museum was fabulous as was shopping for fabric at Hancocks. Otherwise the downtown area was only interesting along the rivers, where there was the wall of murals painted with history timeline, but the rest of downtown was pretty run down, lots of empty storefronts, mediocre restaurants and not much open on Mondays. The rest of Paducah was like a regular small town with predictable stores. We did not do much in the rest of the town except take a drive around.

My Granddaughters & I gave Papaw the tour of the Riverfront and a little bit more of Paducah. We've shown him downtown during the summer when the bands are all out on the streets downtown. We've taken him to the Dam, Kentucky Lake, LBL and on our future trip we may take him and show him all around Grand Rivers. Paducah is rich in history, beautiful architecture and within a few miles of some other beautiful sites. Mammoth Cave, Cave in Rock and more aren't too far either

I really enjoyed the Quilting Museum and fabric shops but the walk along the painted flood wall provided a wonderful pictorial history of the city. Sweet little park behind the wall provided great view of the river and paddle boat. Lots of great restaurants near the hotel

A very friendly town filled with history and best of all the National Quilt Museum. Not overwhelming to walk around or drive around and see some sites. Pleasant temperatures. Nice people in the stores and the restaurants and in the hotels. I don't know / don't think this would hold interest for small children. The White Haven Welcome Center was beautiful and had a tour of the mansion and some history.
We had a Queen Suite that was Excellent! Big, Clean, Comfortable, Safety Bar with Non Slip Grip and Non Slip tub Floor! The beds were Very Comfortable and the Rooms were Spotless! There is Texas Roadhouse Restaurant across the Parking lot! The Breakfast was served with an Attendant who was Very Friendly! There were Many Choices of Hot and cold Breakfast Items with Assorted Juices, Milk, Coffee and Soda. It was the best Breakfast I have Had! Lots of Free Parking!
I rate this a 5 star Hotel!
Breakfast was OK. They need to add some p-nut butter and fruit. This is a clean, friendly, well-run hotel. Not fancy, but convenient, clean and comfortable. This is our second stay and the good experience was consistent. The first time was with our dog and the outdoor area was good for walking. Pool and exercise areas are "under construction", but we don't use those anyway. Bed was fairly comfortable and unlike some of the hotels in this area, room was very quiet. No elevator. We will be back.
+The bed was comfortable and we didn't hear any road noise or even the other guests.
+The temperature in the room was very cold, which I prefer for sleeping (but unable to be changed).
+A kitchen (with refrigerator, stove, coffee pot, dishes) and washer/dryer are available.
+The price was better by $100 per room (two rooms for three nights) over the other hotel we considered. (We saved a total of $200.)
I loved the boutique style hotel experience at a such a great value. The bed was absolutely the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on. The bedding was cozy and gave off a family guest room feel rather than typical hotel feel. I enjoyed interior design and decor very much. I travel for business frequently, and this is the best hotel experience I’ve had thus far.
Friendly, efficient staff. An unusual surprise were the window blinds, one complete dark, the other was translucent that allowed some light in but no 'see through'. Unlike curtains that would blow in the A/C, the sliding blinds were perfect!
we liked it so well, that when we returned to Paducah, we didn't bother even looking at another motel.
I felt like we were in a new facility. The handicapped room was very well-suited for my spouse. The staff delivered a shower chair for her to sit on. The corners of the furniture were beveled so as to minimize injury in the event of a fall.
They even served chocolate cookies in the evening - my spouse's favorite.
All staff members were very helpful, friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable, and treated us like we were family. The rooms were absolutely wonderful!! I have a terrible issue with staying in hotels. I / we didn't feel any discomfort or that there was anything to worry about.
What a great hotel!!! We had a king room and it was so big. The bed was extremely comfortable. Everything was so clean. They also have a pool but we didn’t use it.
You WILL NOT find another hotel with a staff that is nicer and want to help like this hotel staff.
Much nicer than we thought it would be- very clean and well maintained. Hot tub was broken, but pool was working. We needed a quick stop to breakup a long road trip, and family of 6 fit comfortably in the room with two doubles and a pull out couch.
I liked being within walking distance to several restaurants. The hotel offered a hot breakfast that was very good. The overall room was excellent, very clean and quiet. We were allowed to bring our dog to.
