We enjoyed relaxing on the deck. The location is very convenient to both the ferry and downtown. The room was cutely decorated. The personnel was very friendly and accommodating.
Everything. Great view!
The view was spectacular and our bed was very comfortable.
We were in a room with in room soaking tub on the first floor. The foot traffic outside made it impossible for us to enjoy the tub or the bed and the lovely view at the same time. The drapes had to be drawn at all times in order for us to have any privacy. It was a shame we could not enjoy the lovely view from our tub, or from our bed. At one point we even had Port Townsend police officers walk the pathway in front of our room and glance up looking into our room, That invasion of privacy was over the top. I would recommend your hotel to others but certainly not in a room on the bottom floor for anyone who expects even a reasonable amount of privacy.
Location! View! Felt clean and bed was comfortable
Queen bed....tacky room decor..
Nice to be recognized a year later -- very helpful and polite staff, great quiet room, and wonderful shower & jacuzzi. Highly recommended,
The view of the water was spectacular and the room was very cozy.
The air conditioner in the room barely worked.
What a wonderful view with very relaxing, intimate rooms. Excellent !
We had a jacuzzi suite overlooking the Straits. Beautiful view and great room. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fine.
Location--overlooking the bay! A nice easy walk to town center and close to the nature reserve/pond with trails. room was good size for two individual travelers (two queen beds) Staff were pleasant.
The shower head was weird! The breakfast, for the price of the room, could have had a bit more variety especially with protein offerings. There was no hot food, but it was advertised as a continental.
The location on the beach is superb. The rooms are huge and we really enjoyed sitting on the private deck watching the birds and boat traffic.
Loved the view from a corner room (205) out to sea. The whole room and bathroom was quite luxurious. We plan to stay here again. Liked the fact that it was easy and close to walk to all the restaurants and shops.
The in-room fridge kept us awake with its noisy motor!; but nice to have a fridge and a microwave. The shower head in this room needs de-scaling as it sprays everywhere but where you want it. I told the desk, and they said they would fix it.
We love the view and having the hot tub in the room. Great shower.
There wasn't any tea in our room or cream for the coffee.
The young lady who greeted us and checked us in was exceptional. We saw her again the next morning and she helped us out with some questions we had. In hine sight we would have stayed 2 nights at Tides Inn and made day trips rather that change Motels. Although nice our other hotel could not hold a candel to Tides Inn,.
It would be nice to have a little garbage can in the bathroom. Also the sink had a crack in it that had been fixed but was still sharp.
The view could not be beat, fantastic!
The "hot tubs" are bathtubs with jets, fyi. Also, no menu for TV, told no option to watch movies. On check out, a different clerk advised there were DVD players available at the desk. No plug-ins by the bed, so unable to plug in android and listen to music with earplugs, since my friend travelling with me snored. Yoinks!
The view was spectacular
The decor was awful. Tacky fake Victorian look. It is a hotel that is charging as if they are upscale 4 star hotel but it is really nothing more than a 2 star with a great view. Stains in bathroom were disturbing. Walls were dirty.
The bed was very comfortable. The view was spectacular.
The rooms need to be brought up to date with their decor. Beach cottage decor would be perfect. Our room was a bit ornate...right out of a 1970's Home Interior catalog. Comfy chairs would have been nice to relax and read a book or watch TV. The chairs were straight back and very uncomfortable.
Location, and the view.
The dacore was a bit dated.
View, location, gulls, sounds of the water, breakfast, quiet.
Parking was the only problem for us, but we have a full size PU. Not a deal breaker for a return.
Beatific view, room was immaculately clean, spacious. Terrific shower head is worth mentioning! I'm a 35 yr old man, was traveling for pleasure with my 8 year old son. He loved the jacuzzi tub, had a great bubble bath. Good continental breakfast as well. Great location, in easy walking distance to downtown. Very friendly staff, smiling and helpful. Overall a very nice facility and operation. We stay at a lot of 4 and 5 star hotels, and the cleanliness and disposition of the staff was on par with any great hotel.
Nothing really...would happily stay here again!
Great location, very comfortable beds and plenty of HOT water.
Staff was mostly very friendly when we checked in. very clean rooms, great location, walking distance to town. Right on the water.
Could hear seagulls through the fireplace. upon returning home, I received a call saying they were going to charge me for a $40 driftwood sculpture that was missing. There was never a sculpture in the room, so we couldn't have taken anything. We have pictures of the room to prove. So far they have not charged me after a call to management. other than that, Great place.
Loved the view of the water, staff were very helpful.
Carpets were a bit dated but room was very clean and functional.
The room was remarkable! We felt like we were sleeping on clouds in the incredible king sized bed and the Jacuzzi tub was heavenly!
The price was too high for that time of year.
