The hotel seems to give better rooms to people who are booking directly
with them vs. Via 3rd party sites - even though I was paying the same
price. I wish they give me an option to pay for a 2nd or 3rd floor room.
I really appreciate one of the staff Mr. Skeeter M. I accidentally
booked my (non-refundable, booked via 3rd party) room for the wrong
month, and it was a special celebration trip! I am glad I called the
hotel - rather than the usual "I am sorry, you room are non-
refundable and you did not book through us" reply - Mr. Skeeter
walked me through how I can work with the 3 rd party to "re-
book", paying just the delta of the room rates. I can tell he
really cares about his guests and he will not heritage to do the right
thing for his guests. In my opinion, this is what the hospitality
business is about and he provided a true value add to my stay at Tides
Inn. A hotel should be more than a clean room for the night. He also
acted as a local guide; recommended a great restaurant for the
celebration. I also got a 10% discount for staying with Tides Inn. Mr.
Skeeter certainly earned my customer loyalty! Thank you, Mr. Skeeter!
