Friendly staff, great location away from Waikiki beach.
Absolutely loved our time in Laie. Handy to the Polynesian Cultural Centre. Beautiful private beach although be careful of the coral while swimming. Maybe suggest swimming shoes. But other than that we had a wonderful time.
Having to leave...
Beautiful location, right on the beach! Spacious unit.
Difficult to find at night.
It has washing and dry machines.
Reserved room has changed due to air conditioning troubles. We just knew at arrival.
Close proximity to beach.
The accommodations, the gardens with well-taken care of plantings and water features, the beach, the comfortable bed and the over-all cleanliness.
Close to highway, difficult to back out of parking due to traffic, nothing is open in the town on Sundays.
Great location. On the beach and right across the street from the Polynesian Cultural Center. Very homey with all the amenities for a comfortable stay.
The venue was so conveniently located right across the Polynesian cultural center. The ambiance at the villa was so relaxing the moment you step in.
3 bedroom unit not as represented. Not as clean as pictures and 3rd bedroom was not a bedroom as it did not have an egress window (no window) a/c very marginal. Will not stay there again.
On a lovely non-busy beach. comfortable room lovely landscaping , really nice to have laundry fac. available. Also a grill and beach chairs are available as well, Very nice place!
In a Mormon "dry" town. , so you have to go up the road 7/8 miles to buy some wine & beer. and Nothing is open on Sunday. and quiet time is 10pm especially on Sunday. Also there are lots of tethered roosters right next door. Lots of crowing , so at night you need to sleep with windows shut and AC on or you will be awake with "the chickens'..
Really comfortable beds. Close to ocean and PCC. Really a relaxing weekend.
Ocean front, sun rise, local restaurant suggested by staff
Bed was too small - had no idea I selected it. Parking awkward. Signage non existent
Wonderful place to stay. The hosts are friendly and helpful. Loved the proximity to the beach, free laundry, beach toys and kayak loan and it made my husband's dream come true when he was offered to loan a spear for fishing.
Great location for those who like to relax at a quite villa.
Fascility is not exactly great. Number of plate are not matched in various size. Some electric mulfunctions in kitchen appliances. Pre-stocked foods, spice, etc. are very old. Glasses & cups were dirty, so we had to clean all of them before use.
The grounds and accommodations were well maintained. Getting in and out was fantastic.. we arrived quite early and were able to get in and spend the day on an adventure.
I wish the location had been farther to the west.
Loved the outdoor shower, very private. Liked the owner, friendly and tried to resolve insect issue. Liked the modern design of the unit.
Loud a/c unit in master bedroom. Dryer did not work well. Ocean view is through a cinder block patio wall not that good of a view. Discovered cockroaches the 1st night. Told owner who sprayed the next day while we were out but saw 1 cockroach that night. My brother was surprised to fine some man staring into the kitchen window while my brother was making coffee. Reported to owner's agent when we left and she apologized for it. All in all, we wouldn't stay there again because of insect issues and most of all the creepy guy staring in the window. The owner was very nice though but as a landlord myself, I would have done more to prevent the issues that we encountered in the first place, especially for the price of the unit.
Privacy and quietness were the two major factors for choosing Tiki Moon Villas
We are a family with three children 5/10/12 years old,i we had a great time, three days in Tiki Moon The staff were very helpful and friendly The hotel is beautifully situated on a quiet private beach, the garden and the apartments are very tastefully decorated there is nothing to complain about, we can highly recommend the Aparments
Fraud!!! Avoid this place!
Right next door is a rooster breeding farm for cockfighting roosters, 15-20 rooster crowing the whole day long and sometimes in the knight, starting at 4.30 am (see the position on google maps earth)! The many flies may come from this strange place, too. The "private beach" is a small strip of sand, interrupted by a dam with two drain pipes. Be aware of swiming, sharp rocks in the surf can hurt badly. (See on google Maps Earth!) The 4 "villas" are three low barracks close to the street and one bigger house close to the water, in which the owner lives in the upper floor. (See the position on google earth and street view) Our "garage" was the Ocean View Studio in the middle with a very simple equipment, Flash neon ceiling lights in a very dark wooden ceiling, very loud Sharp air conditioner, and loud refrigerator, bad door and windows, so we can hear all the noise from the street and the crowing. The "sea view" was possible if you open the jalousie of the entry door and look through the gap of the patio surrounding wooden wall. The "studio" was also equipped with 4 hard chairs and a second bed, dressed as a sofa! The shoddy kitchen wasn't full equipped, the oven looks old, and we are not able to cook a meal with the poor equipment. The pictures in bookings are totaly mixed with photos from all studios and do not reflect the real state! There is no reason to pay more than 50 USD/night for this horror and no reason to give any points!
Amazing view , just few steps to your own beach . Friendly environment , nice place , great attention and service . everything needed , excellent internet service .
No A/C and bathroom too small
Good location and private access to beach. Friendly and helpful proprietor.
We got the impression from the ad that the "Villas" was very close to the "Turtle Bay Resort and would provide somewhat comparable accommodations, but it was about ten minutes down the road and not even close on the accommodations. We were expecting a nice room and found our "bungalow" to be a converted garage. It had been done nicely, but still was disappointing. There was no name on the "Villas" and was hard to find as it looked from the road like a cheap duplex. The only way we found it was by the address. Parking was along the roadside as there was no secure parking lot. The room had no drapes and only ill fitting "blinds" for privacy and they did not allow for a secure feeling in the room or bathroom. The bathroom had the tiny mini-blinds inside the double pane glass doors and you could see outside but we were assured no one could see inside. Not true, but it was a semi-private courtyard, so not too worrisome. A hot tub was expected for the price but, alas, there was none. The proprietor was working hard to upgrade the facilities, even as we were there, but there is still much work to be done to warrant the price. The next door neighbors had roosters and chickens that crowed continuously all day long which became quite annoying.
