The price and location was great. The staff was very helpful in changing our plans we had to leave one day early than planned.
The pull out bed for my daughter could have been better it was old and used a lot
location is great Housekeeping excellent
Too much noise from people on second floor just over our room
The front desk woman had an attitude with not just me but my friends that checked in another time than me and when we went back to front desk she was again so we all werent so pleased with the front desk service!! Otherwise tiki resort was great
The resort is in desperate need of a renovation. Its very old and filthy. The walls in our room had stains. The bathroom smelled of urine, the sink had mold all around it. We had to request it be cleaned. Absolutely disgusting!!! The vent in the bathroom not working. No microwave in the room. It was very disappointing, I will NEVER stay there again
Room was clean and well kept. Indoor pool was small but heated.beds were comfortable.
Stated it was within walking distance to village but thats if you consider about a half mile a walk. Also air conditioner was noisy and came on and off very often. might bother you if you are a light sleeper.
Indoor Swimming pool decor helpful staff short walk to village
Polynesian show is loud No sound proofing; heard next door neighbors limited breakfast menu No elevators; carry all luggage upstairs
The staff was friendly and helpful as well as the house keeping staff . The price was great and the rooms were clean. Was in walking distance to the beach, steamboats, and the fort. You could catch the trolley right out in front.
Great location, pool, restaurant. As of course the Polynesian show was a lot of fun! The chamber maid was super sweet!
Front desk was nice, but not overly friendly.
I did not like the tiled floor, would prefer carpet. Very cold
Staff was friendly. Location was great. Close to everything. Trolley picks you up across the street to head South to Great Escape. Dinner show was a bit overpriced. Breakfast was very good and priced good. Overall stay was very good. Will be back for longer stay!!
location and staff excellent, pool beautiful
the dinner & show price was too high, especially when discounts advertised but when booked didn't give the discount
Room was comfy and clean. Breakfast was good and reasonably priced.
Planned on dinner show because I never saw anything on the website that it only happens certain days. Plus they don't tell you that it's $50 per person! Indoor pool so small we didn't get to use it because another family was in there and there was no room. Gym was a small room with treadmills facing a wall, and no TV, and small windows looking at nothing.
Clean, comfortable, and a lot of character. Good place to stay.close to amenities.
A little loud in hallways at times. Better sound proofed doors might help. Nothing too bothersome though and nothing during sleeping hours.
Room was great with microwave and fridge. Competitive rates for room size and cafe food and staff was great.
Very dated facilities, with one unfriendly borderline rude checkin lady, facilities could use a paint job and some modernization. Wifi was extremely poor even for google searches for activies
Pool is nice, as was poolside service. Breakfast was a bargain
Thin walls. If your neighbors are noisy it could be rough
Great hotel for location and price. Parking was free. Rest. was good for breakfast and reasonably priced. Nice outdoor and indoor pools.
Check in time was too late. Would have preferred earlier time.
The option of the indoor or outdoor pool were nice.
When we first walked in to get to our room it smelled like mildew. The indoor pool was a lot smaller than what it appeared on the internet. The queen beds were more like double beds.
There are no rugs on the tile. Floor in the entire room the floor is very cold. You really needed to leave shoes on at all times. The room is small for the price and the indoor pool is very small
comfy beds price per night indoor and outdoor pools
Not very well maintained facility Outdoor pool depth markings were consistently a foot short of the actual depth...this was a big problem for my 11 year old who was unable to stand anywhere in the pool. ridiculously late check in time.
Indoor and outdoor pools. Indoor pool is heated. Outdoor gas fire pit. Walking distance to town. Great breakfast. Friendly wait staff. Nice indoor bar. Poolside service with limited menu. Pool towels available. Beautiful kitschy tiki decor. Lots of places in hotel to explore.
No full restaurant. Horrible WIFI. Was told pool is for hotel guests only. Housekeeping was slow and late in the day. Room was small. Old mattresses and garbage stacked outside at the real of the hotel grounds. Horrible B-grade Hawaiian music playing from main building outside over speaker almost 24/7. Modern lounge music would have accomplished the same desired goal and sounded 100% better.
The location was excellent. We were able to walk to the beach as well as main street shops. The room was very clean and the beds very comfortable. We didn't eat at the hotel so I can't comment on the food or show. The fire pit on the patio in the evenings was a nice touch.
The floors are tile and although clean, was unusual. It wasn't difficult to track dirt into the room and once you did, walking on the floor was uncomfortable. Besides that I don't have a lot of complaints. (my kids were frustrated that the WiFi connection was poor and unless you connected very early in the morning, or very late at night it was pretty much useless to even try)
Food was great. Connie bartender in the lounge was very friendly and a lot of fun. Room was very clean and beds were good.
The neighbors next door would go out on the balcony from 2-4 in the morning and party. Called front desk both nights and they sent someone by to make them go inside. The door to the room was open all day and night with as many as 15 people at a time in the room. Not sure why Tiki Resorts Management would let this go on for three days without doing something.
We stayed on one of the side rooms once you deive in. Room conditions were fair but bathroom cleanliness could use improvement
Bathroom. Was small and had little flies coming out from sink. Door had fungus on the bottom
I liked the location.
Very busy and noisy. 2 sides to the resort. Motel side has no microwaves and tile floors. Hotel side is prettier.
Proximity to the great escape, the lake, town attractions. Front desk associate Anita was excellent!
Bodily fluids on bed comforter, dirty bathroom, unprofessional cleaning staff. Although the front desk staff and manager took care of our major issue, we still would not recommend.
