I asked for handicapped our room was not, I was unable to get into tub for a shower, no bars to hold unto . You need some rooms with showers only, and grab bars, some people have conditions that they unable to climb over tubs,

Staff were friendly

The rooms were cold & smelled damp & we could not get the air conditioning to warm the room up, the rooms were dated & felt grubby (although the bathroom facilities & bed linen were clean) walls & doors were chipped & marked & the metal frames on the wardrobe dorrs were rusty. A cold & mierable stay

Cute and different. The restaurant has big windows so you feel like you are eating outside. You can walk to Lake George Village.

The setting, the friendliness of the staff. The room was fine for the price.

I like that the hotel is right next to the main attractions, the lake is literally 60 seconds away. Some of the hotel staff was extremely friendly to the point where one of the young woman offered to take us hiking up the Prospect Mountain. We were so happy that we accepted her offer and she took my friend and I on a 3 1/2 hours hike up the mountain on her day off. This girl is AWESOME! She made our experience incredibly memorable.The black hotel staffs are a lot more friendly and more helpful than the white staffs. The young men who cleaned our room were very nice and friendly. Parking was not a problem.

The day we got to the hotel, the door to the bathroom got stuck. The day after that, it fell off in my friend's hand and almost knocked her to the floor. Eventually, they sent someone to fix it. Then we noticed that the bathroom sink was clogged and when we wash our faces the water would not go down the drain. The towels were not so clean and the staffs was not trained on how to use the coffee maker so they could not assist us when we wanted to make our coffee, so they sent the repair man to assist us.

The Tiki is a friendly, family atmosphere. The Staff is kind and courteous. Very clean, comfortable rooms. Would definetly return.

It is nice spiritual place to stay as a couple.

1. Menu at the eating place had very limited choices of " becon-free" -menu. It would be nice to have some kosher/halal options for people who does not eat pork as a part of their religion.So we had to go look for some other restourants to eat. Also "free-beer" coupon was a little unusefull for us. We should have some "free coffee" instead. And usually breakfast at most of hotels is included to the price of stay. 2.The TV-channels in out room were changing automaticly without pressing any bottons. It was a little anoying, especually when you starting to watch some movie.

I only stayed 1 night left early beds horrible,room not clean musty smell not happy

The receptionists were friendly and helpful. They made us feel very welcome. The pool was nice and so was poolside staff.

The restaurant hostess was not welcoming and appeared to be stressed to see 11 of us come in for breakfast. The room was clean but the outside hallways, stairs, and stairwells needed to be swept.

Very clean rooms-paperwork ready when we arrived-staff very courteous and helpful. Polynesian dinner and show was wonderful.

The service and receptionists were particularly awful. The receptionist offered me a price which was about $350 over the agreed amount (which I had to produce and did) in order to get the correct price. At that time, she had lost my Visa card for more then 10 minutes, only to find it in the xerox machine. She claimed she was having a bad day. I was respectful and told her not to worry. However, this is absolutely unacceptable on any level. I cut my stay short and left with a very bad taste in my mouth. No recommendation here...

Very clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff, family-oriented, nice pool area, close to all shoping and beach, and a good value for your money.

Not that we needed to use it, but the indoor pool area looked a mess and not very clean- needs some sprucing up- perhaps some decorative accents to make it more appealing. Because of the way it looked, we would not allow our kids to use it or even enter the area.. The only other thing that bothered me about this resort is that all outside doors to the buildings' staircases and rooms were either wide open to the public or closed but never locked. I prefer a key entrance at all times- especially when staying with children. The fact that anyone from the outside can enter any of the buildings at any give moment- day or night- and wander the hallways outside our room was a little unsettling to me. I definitely wished it was more secure than that. In my opinion, the only public door should be the front entrance to the desk. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay and the kids LOVED the outdoor pool! I loved that we were close to the beach and all food places and shopping areas- very good location if you're not able to get a place directly on the beach. It was our first trip to Lake George and we absolutely loved it!- Can't wait to come back next year!

I enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and the location. It was walking distance to the the village.

Well, I was happy that they were trying to be 'eco friendly' by asking us to reuse our bath towels. Unfortunately there was no place to hang them to dry them in order to use them again the next day. They need to install towel racks in the room.

The location of the hotel is good..

The hotel has to do something about smokers polluting the public areas, mainly the pool area..How can you allow smokers to pollute small childrens lungs with all that we know about the damage second hand smoke causes? It's pathetic! Have designated smoking areas away from the public areas, If the near by Sixs Flags theme park can do it, so can the Tiki. Not doing it is totally irresponsible.For this reason alone I would not recommend this hotel. The Hotel is nice but the room cleaning is hit and miss.When we first got there the floors were dirty and the was long black hair all over the floors, tub and towels, gross. After pointing it out the room was cleaned properly but then not cleaned at all the following day..??

Absolutely nothing

The room smell of mold and must. Urine permeniated the at room as we entered the room for the first time. You could see black mold in the bathroom at the floor and in the shower. After booking for what was advertised absolute lowest rate, I noticed at check out that AAA members received an additional 10 percent off, but would not give it to me at because it must be done at check in? Do not trust the we'd site pics.

The entire facility was not very clean - especially the room. It was too far from the lake too,

Room smelt and the bathroom was filthy wife had to clean alot of other peoples hair out of the tub so that our two toddlers could bath. HAs to leave the padio door open all night to try and air out the room.

I was very impressed with the decor of the room and how clean it was. The staff that greeted us was very friendly and informative. We only stayed for one night but do wish we had chosen two nights.

I was a bit dissapointed with the trash on the back steps of the building as I arrived to find my room. The trash was over flowing and there were dirty diapers as well. the other thing was the Ice machine it kept leaking and leaving a huge puddle on the floor. This was a hazard for anyone to slip. I know there are things beyond the control of the resort and it is the resposiblity of the patrons as well. over all I was pleased with the hotel. Thank you

I did not like the fact that there were no elevators. Our room had food on the floor from the last person that stayed. The air conditioner kept shutting on and off all night! Very loud place. We could hear the people next door pretty clearly. The doors shut to loudly also. The price was outrageous for what we received. We called down to the front office to ask about television channels and the girl said, I don't know what ones we have. There were people that must live there on the first floor that were drunk and smoking out side right by the stairs where you have to go in to get to your floor. It was just not a good experience at all. I would not recommend this "resort" to anyone. The only good thing was the ladies that were down in the porch grill. They were nice and helpful.
