Just looking out at the view made us want to stay longer if not live there!
old bathroom no chopping board, good knives hot tub got dirty
fireplace livingroom plenty of towels own parking spot (covered) taxi included prompt response
The drive up to the condo. The last 100+ yards was bothersome because of the thick ice. Applying and removing the Snow chains is a pain in the neck. Driving with the chain is a disaster especially because the need for it was only the short distance near the condo. It was an experience any way. I hope you could have the house cleaning staff take the garbage to the dumpster when the guest leave instead of making the guest do it. You charge quite a lot for the place anyway and providing this to the guest should not a big deal
The staff were excellent and very helpful. Kaylob, (I hope I got his name right) in the rental office was great.
There was nothing that we wouldn't like.
We liked everything, but most of all the view, the good solid and comfortable furniture, and the very well equipped kitchen.
Although we didn't use them, the jacuzzi and pool didn't look too inviting, but it's a minor criticism.
Lodge 53 was simply stunning: a great location with fantastic views; the fit and finish were exemplorary, which made for a truly relaxing stay. I can fully recommend staying here; you will not be disappointed!
We arrived at mammoth lakes, and had to pick the keys up from the main office this was no problem for we had to go past to get to the lodge. Bob the name of the owner and manager of the lodge. Gave us the keys and as we were going to get some shopping he said he would go to the lodge and make the log burning fire for us as well putting on the central heating. He said there were going to be some snow that weekend. Really fantastic stay, would highly recommend .
The website indicates that Yosemite National Park is just a 40 min drive away. While it is true that the east entrance to the park is about 35 miles from the resort, Yosemite Village is over 60 miles away, about 2.5 h drive in mountain roads. However, it its a scenic drive with places to stop along the way. Make sure to fill the gas tank in Mammoth Lakes.
This well-equipped, two-story, 2-bedroom apartment was very comfortable and could easily accommodate 6-8 people. We stayed there late in the summer after Labor Day and the rate for the weekend was fantastic. The scenery behind the resort is beautiful. Quiet place with all the amenities. The place was a little difficult to locate at the beginning but it turned out to be a 5 minute drive to downtown Mammoth Lakes.
There were no staff on site, I heard they work from an office in town which wasn't made clear online or at the lodge, no major issue tho as the lodge was left open for us, there's no 'check in' or 'check out' with staff as you might be expecting
Lovely views, clean and tidy apartment, great for staying with mates. Pool looked great, nice and quiet, brilliant having your own lodge in the mountains!! 2hr drive to Yosemite valley but great scenery throughout
beds are not comfortable
Nice mountain views from the living room, dining room and 2 bedrooms and A+ plus for having access to the ski lift just steps from the property resulting to our mountain biker friends to access it with their mountain bikes from the top vs coming from below to go up giving them more enjoyment for their mountain biking trips. Kids liked the direct access for Netflix movies from the cable remote. Moms like the full kitchen access with all the things you can think of for making good happy meals, coffee and deserts.
No AC on top floor
equipped kitchen, bunk beds for the kids, two bathrooms, comfortable beds, beautiful view, felt like home
Our place was beautiful, clean and accommodating! We were one of two families who shared the two bedroom apartment located perfectly close to trails, shopping, restaurants and even Yosemite. We'll stay here again but probably just off season as it's a pricy for prime ski time.
nothing at all
well equipped kitchen, great view, friendly staff
Was not the corner unit, as shown in the ad.Tiny balconey.Oven door wouldn't close. We BBQ'd so wasn't a big deal, but should be repaired.Garage to small, glad we brought our smaller car.still had to pull out to unload.
Most of the view.Comfortable furniture.
The accommodation we were allocated was dated and shabby. If we could have found alternative accommodation we would have moved out. We didn’t see any staff.
The place is new. I booked one bedroom apartment, they upgraded us to two beds apartment. The place is on the top of the hill. All the units have view. The rooms are so comfortable and cozy. Love the kitchen and living area. The decoration is stylish and new. The apartment is very functional. We got everything we need in detail. The bed is super comfortable. It is very quite place. Swimming pool is just less than 1 min walk. Here is like a home, not hotel. Great for family. The living room has big tv. Each bedroom has TV too. Balcony has chair and BBQ oven with mountain and lake view. Definitely will come back again.
The staff at 101 Escapes were extremely helpful, friendly and informative. The accommodation whilst a little dated, was large, clean, comfortable and extremely well equipped
Nothing negative .. Maybe just the way to the location .
The best hotel in the area , Everything was amazing
Found 2 HUGE spiders in kids sleeping quarters! Bathrooms had some mice droppings on floors as well.
Loved the amount of beds to sleep in and the large open living room. The view was BEAUTIFUL AND BREATHTAKING from each window!
Well appointed Comfortable beds Great Kitchen
never saw staff, but wasnt really a problem as we just left keys as they had.
fully fitted kitchen, master bedroom, showers x3, bbq on balcony
Great location, clean, well maintained and fantastically kitted out condo, fast free wifi, swimming pool and jacuzzi/spa onsite, own garage, friendly and helpful staff, amazing views, quiet and peaceful.
We enjoyed our stay at Timber Ridge. It was very clean with plenty of towels and complimentary toiletries. We have three children and were really pleased that the second bedroom had twin beds and a set of bunk beds. It had an excellent kitchen for making meals with plenty of pots and pans. The setting was really beautiful although was a few minutes drive into the village. The pool was lovely and warm and the spa pool was a nice place to relax after a hard day biking on the mountain. Our apartment was well looked after, clean and very comfortable. We wish that we could have stayed longer.
Dirty carpet at entrance Everything else was fab!
This was a very spacious and comfortable condo which was very well laid out. I read some reviews about not being able to speak to anyone about concerns when there, but that was not the case for us. The company emailed us back with regards to queries before we arrived and even though we didn't have to make use of it, had arranged for the keys to be left somewhere for us if we arrived after 8 pm. When we arrived from Vegas as 7:45pm they had all our stuff ready and went through everything with us in detail before we headed off with the keys. The condo is out of the village do you will need a car, but. The drive up is totally worth it when you get the views. Both bedrooms are really comfortable and they even had bathrobes for us. We went hiking and biking during the day and then retreated back in the evening for BBQ on the balcony and even made use of the tv with net flicks. I really didnt want to leave this place and will be enquiring about making use of it during the ski season too.
We had a home away from home, quiet with great view. We would go back!
