The overall ambience of the cabin The beds The quiet location
Poor food in the restaurant Negative attitude of the desk staff
Lovely big lodge, great facilities and comfy beds. Great Little place to eat on site and nice breakfast buffet.
Not cheap, but a lovely treat for one night and worth it compared to places we stay in the UK!
Great location, staff very accommodating kept both a cabin and lodge room available.
The lodge is not handicapped accessible the cabins are. This information was not known to us. We were forced to upgrade to a cabin at our expense which they had one open. Could have been a problem during their busy season.
The room and the evening meal. Very helpful reception and bar staff.
No breakfast but we were directed to a nice place down the road. Room was too hot when we arrived and as the thermostat was very basic it was difficult to get the room to an acceptable temperature.
Cabin was clean, neat and wonderfully appointed. Staff would go to almost any length to assist guest.
Price and service
Togwotee Mt. Lodge was awesome. The cabins were very nice, very roomy with separate bedroom from the living area. Food in the lodge was very good. Really enjoyed our stay.
Facility was great, cabins (where we stayed) are very nice. Was very peaceful for us since off season, but might be a little loud if all of the many cabins are occupied during high season.
No separation in the cabin 'suite' because of the open plan, i.e., open tops of walls (for heating I assume) and no door between front and back of cabin. This place is a solid 35-45 minutes away from Jackson - a VERY dark and long drive back after enjoying the night life there.
The price was reasonable. Staff helpful Food in restaurant was good. Beds were comfortable. Very clean. Freebie shampoo/conditioner smell great
No noise proofing from the bar area, so if you stay above it, you hear the music from the bar until it closes. The temp control didn't seem to work in the room.
The room was spacious and had good temperature control. Two big comfortable beds. Breakfast was good.
The dining room was freezing cold and very un-atmospheric...more like a canteen. We ate in the bar in the evening as the restaurant was empty. The evening food choice was pretty limited. There is nowhere else near to eat so you are stuck with eating at the Togwotee. The staff were mostly distinterested in the guests.
Cozy cabins with excellent amenities. Fluffy goose down bedding, warm fire, private and beauty surrounding!! Will stay longer next time!!
Having to leave!!
Great location for both the grand Tetons and Yellowstone
I can feel very fresh air and very quite room. The bar was open late 10 o'clock for nice mexican food.
Little bit far from Yellowstone national park
cute and comfortable cabin
cabins pretty close to each other
Noisy children running up and down the halls until 11:30. VERY thin walls, not what you'd expect from an older lodge. It is very far from the Tetons.
quiet and surrounded by nature, large room well equipped. Bar opened till 22 for those who arrive late
a little bit too far away from Moran Jct ( half an hour) and expensive
Very clean reasonable rate. Friendly staff. On site restaurant, gas station. Cute cabin. Comfortable pull out sofa.
The bedroom on the cabin should have a door. Didn't have enough time to stay to check out all the property had to offer.
Clean, quiet, nice employees. Wifi speed is super.
Bath is too small for adults
Was really more negative than positive
Poor maintenance , overpriced
Disappointed with restraunt. Ordered a bottle of wine finally received the wine when dessert was about to be served. Vacuum's and cleaning supplies located next to where meals were brought out of kitchen (Real Appetizing).Maid needs to trained on how to clean a bathroom.
The private cabins are nice (once we finally got one!). The proximity to Yellowstone and Tetons was a plus as was the laundry facility. The restaurant staff was friendly and the meals were all good.
I had booked the deluxe cabin with fireplace, dining and kitchen through booking.com, however, when I checked with the lodge ahead of our stay, they had down-graded us to a lodge room for the same $ and told me that no cabins were available. They said it was a booking.com glitch. Somehow they "found" a cabin for us. I had also received a promo email from the lodge offering half off a third night's stay, but the front desk staff had no idea about the promotion and refused to honor.
Comgortable bed. Wi-fi quality is good everywhere at the hotel.
Far from Yellowstone south entrance. Google maps provides wrong location of the Hotel. Actual one is 3 miles east from those where Google pointed.
It was well staffed and everyone was extremely helpful. They are willing to go out of their way to help guests.
It was a bit far from Grand Teton and the drive is a little bit distant up some hills but the morning drive is quite nice. It gets a little bit nerve wracking when you have to drive 20 min just to get onto the main road but overall not really a problem either. Just prepare ahead in advance in terms of gas.
I was pleasantly surprised to see that the hotel did NOT charge us for the two nights we had to cancel due to an emergency hospitalization while on our trip.
That I was told we would be charged even though we couldn't use the room.
