“ We have been going to Topnotch for 15 years. We like the laid back and cozy but deluxe atmosphere. The spa, the swiming pools ( indoor and outdoor), the exercise room and many yoga classes among others are all first rate. Norma's restaurant was outstanding and we ate 3 of our 4 dinners there. Outstanding and friendly service. Its location facing the mountain enhanced the ambiance. ”

Great staff Extra charges added on spa package for gratuity. I was told the prices were all inclusive. Also the restaurant could have at least comp the dessert for my 50th birthday that day.. But nothing was. No added extras .

The staff, especially the valet, baggage handlers and drivers, were so polite and eager to help you in any way possible. The spa amenities were great; heated pools, steam bath, sauna, 2 wonderful whirlpools--one with an incredible waterfall, really nice.. A large renovation project was happening and the trucks started their beeping and ground work very early in the morning--which would wake us up every morning. Also, our room which was lovely, faced the road, where once again we heard every car going by.

Topnotch is at a gorgeous location at the base of Green mountain. The view from my room was stunning. However the view did not justify the cost of the room. It's overpriced. The king bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was a little dated but clean.

Oh my gosh! What a wonderful place! All of the young people that work there have fantastic attitudes and enunciate all of their words correctly and completely! What a refreshing experience. And the beds! WOW! They were so comfortable I was tempted to buy the whole room and live there the rest of my life! And, at the fire pit, you can get fixings for Smores! It was a fantastic experience. I will be there again but for a longer period!

Le cadre est magnifique, le personnel discret, affable et compétent. Les chambres sont spacieuses, agréables et fort confortables. On y mange très bien. Les installations sportives sont parfaites. Franchement, notre week-end a été formidable!

Staff was friendly, room was clean and had a very comfortable bed. Hotel was big on recycling. Amenities were good. Jacuzzi, Sauna and indoor pool made my stay... No coffeemaker in the room.... Especially for a coffee addict like me when restaurant and everything around is closed

We stayed for 3 nights in mid-June which is a bit of an off-season. As such the resort was not busy and we enjoyed the quiet atmosphere. All of the staff that we encountered were friendly and courteous, as well as helpful, giving us information on attractions and services in the Stowe area. We enjoyed the 4 o'clock afternoon tea service that was offered in the lobby each day. We loved the outdoor pool and took advantage of the good weather to enjoy it. All in all, a great place to just relax. Because of the off-season the lounge-bar was not open. This was a bit disappointing for us. We found the dinning room (Norma's) a bit pricey for out likes. Had the bar been open we might have taken some meals in there. As seniors somewhat stuck in our ways, the menu items at Norma's did not appeal to us either. We prefer more tradional fare and as such took our meals off site at the many other pubs and cafes available in the area. As older folks there was not much in the way of activities at the resort that appealed to us (E.G. tennis, horseback riding, cycling, etc.), but we accept this.

Friendly courteous staff. Comfort of accommodations cookies in the afternoon! Natural wood fires at night and great pools ! Mary the bartender is the best !!:)) Just a few outdoor patio pavers could be replaced.
