older style motel but is kept up, newly painted and clean. Right in the middle of town so, easy walk to everything.
Bed could be a bit more comfortable
It was clean and the bed was warn at the end of a long day however the rooms and furniture were very outdated, there was a strong chemical deodorizer in the room covering the smell of dampness and the heater was a window mount unit (either on or off ). Long story short they are charging top dollar for what they offer when you can do better in Oneonta for $10 more. I would stay there again if traveling by myself but would not take my wife or kids.
Poorly done repairs, poor temperature control, strong odors, firm pay upfront policy indicating the clientele that appeared to be more "perminent".
The hotel is walking distance from restaurants hand shops downtown.
The breakfast was nothing to write home about. Supermarket Danish and frozen waffles.
The manager of the property was a very nice man who spoke excellent English. When I mentioned that I would be leaving before breakfast the next morning, he put a bunch of food items together for me, including a quart of orange juice. Two thumbs up!
Room was very clean.
Bed was hard as a rock. My back was killing me by the morning.
Location was great for my trip. The Inn was very quiet even though it was very busy. One of the most comfortable beds I've ever had at a motel. Will stay there again if in the area.
excellent location to colleges, main street, shopping and dining. room was clean, coffee available, wi-fi, cable, two full size beds
mattress uncomfortable, towels had stains
Room was smelly and poorly kept, old and worn furniture, dirty. Actually found B&B with an available room instead
Located within walking distance of restaraunts
The room was only moderately clean and was very dated. We needed to check out early on Saturday morning as we were on a schedule. No one at the front desk, the door was locked had to ring bell several times before anyone can and it was obvious that the clerks just woke up.
cost, cleanliness and courteous staff
The first room the door didn't shut or lock properly. Not very clean and no hot water to shower. I would not recommend this to anyone.
Location because we could walk right into the center of town.
Smelled like smoke. Someone banged on our door for 15 minutes on Saturday morning. Seemed like a prank.
Location of the room.
The room was extremely overpriced. The cost did not fit the quality of the room. The chair in the room was too fragile to sit in. The towels were nearly too thin to dry yourself properly. The door to the room had a gap which prevented it from closing securely. I cannot let my family rent this facility again.
Clean Spacious Room
Bathroom setup Shower Pressure Inconvenient to get towels Noise
Location and clean room and bathroom
Could use some hooks on bathroom door
Location was great, beds were comfortable. Loved seeing the owner cleaning up around the grounds. I believe it is owned by a husband and wife team- as they were the people we saw all the time there.
Toilet was running all night long- we just closed the door so the noise didn't bother us.
It was two beds for only $75 and it was right downtown so it was perfect for us to go out and short distance walking back!
Well priced, good location. Room had a fridge and microwave.
Not much to complain about other than the lack of hot water for the shower. I think everyone was showing at once though. I took a short later in the day and it was fine.
Good location, nice breakfast offering, friendly bilingual staff
Easy access to main highway. We were attending the Glimmerglass Festival near Cooperstown.
Not a luxury property, but better than expected for the price. A modest, clean motel that perfectly met our overnight needs.
The room was disgusting! I made them give me a refund fort he second night because I was so astounded on how unclean the room was
The beds are hard.. Breakfast cheap meal.. but closer to college visit for one nite
Very little except it was a safe place to sleep
Dirty carpet, no closet, stain on blanket,
Ms Denis was very nice to us, I felt vey welcoming at my arrival. I would stay there again. Great lady! Marilyn
