Shower had mold.
Everything was fine
The kitchen nook, awesome to have a fridge.
The shower and the bed
Our rooms was nice..and we had parking this time
I think they can improve in a few areas..put more window screens up, so the windows can be opened, there's no air conditioner in the rooms, in a hot day makes the room gets stuffy and hot and it's impossible to sleep at night..
A microwave in the room, coffee or tea in the room.
Soo hot during the night.
Location, neat & clean, inside & out.
Noisy neighbors, smelly cooking.
It was the bad place.
It was close to where we had to go.
For the $ I expected more.
A $20 bond was taken for the key and returned on checkout. Fair enough. When I checked out I was told the manager was not around and that it would be applied back to my card. It was not.
Being close to the ocean.
The shower and sink were very slow to drain. Nasty....
Price Quiet location Nice maids
Old keys Old rooms Slightly dirty
Rooms equipments poor
Noise from street in rooms by the street. Thin windows and doors. Matress covered in terrible plastic (for protection?) made sleep miserable due to noise when moving and hotness due to lack of air flow between body and mattress. Very dirty carpet (not in first glance but after steeping on wet towel it soacked dirt from carpet like sponge...)
People were good
Motel was not good Couldn't sleep bed was not good
The staff was nice. There for a concert in candlestick; they were somewhat helpful.
Location: industrial. Room had an odor, bed hard as a rock, suspiciously unclean.
There was absolutely nothing to like about the "Town Motel". It's in a bad neighborhood. It is old and in need of repair and refurbishment. Very disappointing even for a low priced motel. I wouldn't recommend this motel to anyone.
I wasn't able to sleep due to the loud noises of people slamming doors and stomping on the floors as they came and went. The manager was not helpful so I decided to check out the very same day I checked in.
Showers are scary and dark. It was so small inside too. The toilet was dripping brown stains onto the bathroom floor as well. Parking lot didn't have enough parking spots.
Close proximity to location of event
All power for all outlets controlled by 1 light switch. No screen on bathroom window leaving me exposed to any bugs that may have come in as well as people who may want to climb into the bathroom and cause harm
I knew when I booked this I was going to be going down a notch or two from what I was used to as all the decent hotels for good prices were booked in SF but this was just awful for the price. Next time we will look at booking farther out to get a decent price and driving in since it wasn't all that close to SFSU even. It took 20 minutes to get there. It was filthy. There was a stain on the floor that was sticky. The beds were hard as a rock. The room wasn't cleaned on the first day we stayed. It did not come with the essentials that every room I've ever stayed in comes with, coffee pot, dryer. We got a hair dryer but had to put a $50 deposit. There were no screens on the second story windows- very dangerous. Very run-down poor area. Will never stay in this area again!
Room smelled terrible. Managers wife rude. I paid 20 cash deposit for room key and TV control and they gave me a receipt showing it was a deposit. When I handed back in the room key and TV control she insisted I had to give her my copy of the r deposit receipt. I explained it was packed away in my luggage. I said you have a copy right there in your receipt book, laying on the counter. She said, I know I have a copy but I need your copy. I had to unstrap my luggage from the roof of my vehicle so I could get to the receipt. She then had me sign it. It only showed deposit. It didnt say refundable. She gave me my money and kept the receipt. Dont I get that back and she said no. But she wouldnt give me my money until I gave her my original receipt. Also, I asked if ice was available. They said if I needed ask them and they would give me some.
Employees that checked us in and out were nice.
On our first night we heard someone testing our door knob/lock. Fortunately it was locked. The carpet was very stained. The mattress was smaller than queen size and it had still the plastic cover on. The bathroom window was held closed with a wooden hanger. If for some suicidal reason you decide to walk (say for the KT stop) then prepare to hold your breath. The area literally stinks.
Bed TV Locked door
Shower stall looked moldy. I even took pix because it was so nasty. I can forward them if you like. Couldn't bear to put my feet in it for fear of fungus or something. No A/C No wifi
