We were staying here for a family reunion held off premises. There were 6 adults and 2 children in our party. Always something to do the staff made it fun. You could relax in the garden or head to the beach. Fun for all. The Rum Fish restaurant was AMAZING!!
Loved the suite and location. The Gulf Harvey Outpost restaurant was excellent. I will definitely be returning next year with family for a long weekend.
Nothing! All was good.
Beach was nice, staff nice BUT PARKING ???? What a joke? We were told to park up front of restaurant. This not away to run a hotel you pay good money. All any one (staff ) I'm sorry That just did not make the cut
No parking Sofa bed needs new mattress Loud bar. next door
Right on the beach- great cabanas! Lovely adult pool Very relaxing Good food
Not much nearby-have to drive
Location, gulfside room with small kitchen area and separate living space. Food was good, outdoor fire pits at night were fun. Use of cabanas on beach included in resort fee.
Noisy kids but what can you do about that.
Children activities All activities were included especially the cabanas and slide.
Loved the beach location and all the facilities.
Slightly shabby rooms in need of updating. Ours wasn't cleaned in the two days we were there. That said I would stay there again.
Rum fish beds Service
Small rooms outdated facilities small swimming pools crowded parking situation
I liked that it was on the beach, and they have a great place to watch the sunset.
We stayed over a weekend, and the hotel was completely booked up. Which I understand it's the summer time. However they only had 1 person working the front desk at 4 the time of check in. It took 45 mins to check into the hotel and then they tell us they didn't have any rooms cleaned yet. We had dinner reservations for 6 and need to shower and get ready. By 5pm the lady at the desk said she had 1 room cleaned on the first floor, we took it. Bad idea. It was right next to the lobby facing the parking lot where everyone drops off. The room was so loud. While rushing to her ready for dinner we wanted to put the news on the check weather and traffic well the tv didn't work at all. They told us they had free internet well no we could not connect to the internet either. So mad we just left for dinner. That night we had guys in our room till 2 am fixing the tv which was okay since they fixed it and then gave me a free dinner coupon. The next morning being Saturday there was some kind of constructions that woke us up so earlier. Then people out front trying to check in where very loud. I finally went into the lobby to see if we could change rooms. Well the lobby once again was jammed packed with people and only 1 girl working the desk. I waited so long I couldn't take it any more and left the lobby. I live in florida and didn't have a lot of money to take a huge vacation this year so we decided to stay close and have a little staycation. Well it was awful. So upset with my experience.
Evry things cool
People were all very friendly
noisy, better suited to younger families, pools inadequate for size of hotel. Room was filthy and out dated. Very slow service on reception.
Loved the view and amenities.
Parking was not great. Couldn't find a spot the first night.
The receptionist Carmen was very polite and professional, although my wife yelled at her for some miscommunication she remained professional and continued to be helpful. Best customer service I have ever received in my life time.
Toilet got clogged for unknown reasons. Rooms were a little small.
The location, the new outdoor lounging area, the kindness of staff
The rooms are not really updated
The amenities were excellent. Access to the sister property was a plus. The staff was friendly and the beach bar and grill was great.
I did not like that you had to pay for a cabana lounge if in the front row and breakfast should be included in the price or have a lower priced buffet.
The facility was great. Really enjoyed the Rumfish Grill and aquariums. The food was good, presentation very good. The restaurant service was good. Love the beach and activities.
Parking was an issue. Check in was not until around 5:00 after being told 4:00. When asked why others did not wait for a room, was told because of the rate we paid. My rate was already pretty high, I thought that insulting and a put down.
Shower instructions needed
The property was lively with outdoor music and nice outdoor ambiance.
Very expensive. Pool a bit small for family area
Great location, good food, good spacious rooms.
Swimming pools too small; some staff (especially on reception) were not very capable.
the poolside bar and entertainment was great
Some of the serving staff at bar and grille were not very pleasant.
Perfect that it was right on the beach. Being able to use the amenities at the Tradewinds was great because they have a lot more to do there than at the Outpost.
The family pool was extremely packed while the adults only pool sat mostly empty all day. As a parent of a young child who isn't a proficient swimmer it made me nervous because I couldn't always see him. Also the water pressure in the room was just poor! The trickle that came out was completely insufficient to wash hair & barely enough to shower at all
Stayed at the resort for long weekend with girl friends. Best Pina' Coloda's in the State are found at the tiki hut by the pool. Did't have time to use the pool toys or make use of the water sports. Dined at the new Guy Harvey Restaurant - they were still working out the kinks; atmosphere was excellent and fun!
Room TV's are old and reception is bad.
The Beach was wonderful
