The lady at the front desk was nice enough, and the place was $45. Lesson learned: no more hotels under $60 in North America for us.
The place was chalk full of sketchy dudes eyeing us up on arrival. Didn't feel safe leaving our vehicle anywhere in the vicinity. The room was tiny, it stank, and there were more doors than wall. On closer inspection we found many interesting insect friends that were sharing the space with us. Cut our losses and left.
Owner/manager was very friendly and helpful. The price was excellent for a one night stay. Very clean for an older building.
Location right next to a busy street was not to our liking, but good for someone who wants easy access to town amenities. The mattress was very hard. Like trying to sleep on a rock. Through no fault of the management, the person in the room next door left the room about 4:00am before the alarm that was set went off. It went off and kept ringing for hours. There are no phones in the rooms so we could not notify anyone to turn it off, so we finally left earlier in the morning than we had planned.
The price was the best I've ever seen for accommodation. The staff was friendly and was helpful in checking us in, even though we arrived very late at night. Bed was clean. Rest of the room was adequate. Bit of dirt in the corners and the bathroom was a little worn out, but all in all, great for the price we paid. I've stayed in nasty hostels for more money, so I was pleasantly surprised. Wifi worked great also.
The shower was hot and had good pressure. Towels and bed linens appeared very clean. Good recommendation for breakfast at Sam's just down the street. Easy on and off the freeway.
Horrible smoke smell in non smoking room. Chairs were so filthy I didn't want to put my luggage on them. Left my shoes on until I got into the bed because the carpet was so dirty. Pillows were so flat they were useless.
It was quiet.
Sink in #25 needed replacing.
Just six hours out of Seattle, close to the Trail of the CdA bike trail, quiet rural town with a good Mexican restaurant a block away and a market across the street. The Coke machine is near the entrance to the market, but the motel has an ice machine.
No Coke machine (go across the street). Older motel, kinda funky.
Great location, just few blocks from the bike path. We had a huge room where we were able to put our bicycles. Very nice staff.
Very nice front desk person.
Price. Availability. Good, friendly reception. Character. Access to I90 but still quiet. Silver Mountain close by. Unpretentious.
Pretty basic, but good for the price.
Clean, clean, no funky smells, kind people, though basic, there was a mini frig and microwave, remember people, this is a simple, older motel, no pool, or other amenities, but I was there to sleep and go play on the mountain,$45.00 For two people!!!!! That is unheard of now a days..
The price was cheap
Had products ordered there, confirmed they were arriving, but they denied delivery! Ended up costing me . I didn't sleep well here .
The Trail Motel has a very nice owner; he offers fresh brewed coffee in the office in the morning. it's the kind of motel we like - a bed to sleep, a shower to get clean, and a grocery store right across the street to get whatever we need.
Easy too find from freeway. Air conditioning, fridge and microwave and tv all worked. Everything is basic but works and is clean. The room was pretty big and clean.
Being on the bottom floor is convenient but means you have someone above you. The people above me were quiet (a Tuesday night) so no issues during my stay.
location, PRICE!!!, not noisy, fridge & micro, air works! & staff easy to work with! Motel is old, but the price is right!
need new towels no pool
staff was helpful rooms were clean outside needed some attention
need some updating and safety issues with 10 things plugged in a electrical bar
$50 room rate Everything was clean, no bed bugs.
Old & in cases worn out bedding Smelly room, not smoke but some other odor. Bath towel was the size of a hand towel.
Room cool when almost 100 degrees outside, quite, clean and perfect for my stop along the road.
Nothing fancy but perfect for us as we were traveling by bike and the Trail was convenient to our route, shops and restaurants
We appreciated a cheaper motel and found it quite adequate.
Great price, easy access to local Mexican restaurant.
Worn out bathroom, squeaky bed.
The towels were torn. We had to ask for a hairdryer.
I like that it was two blocks from the bike trail and that was my primary purpose for the trip. Location is close to coffee, supermarkets, restaurants but it is all very low key.
Not much. Great deal for what I paid and for my purposes which was to just get away and bike and not talk to anyone, it was perfect.
I liked the price for what I got.
They didn't honor a reservation I had made online. I was told they take walk ins first. I was lucky they had a room left!
