Flat, thin, pillows. Window faced ally.
Close to my work venue. Food with-in walking distance. Pleasant stay. Owners went out of their way to accommodate our requests. Would here again when I am back in town.
Great location !!! Walk to the beach and downtown, ideally situated close to freeway access but not noisy day or night. I will make sure I return to the Travel Inn.
The price was right. Room was also very nice for the price. Good amount of space. Big bed that was comfortable enough. The shower was normal size but a standard shower head would have been preferred. Not a big deal though. Mini fridge worked great. Turned it up and it froze my water. The A/C worked very well. Big plus for that. They provide soap and lotion in a neat dispenser by the sink. They also provide shampoo/conditioner and body gel in the shower. Free parking in a lot.
Bed bugs. My room didn't appear to have any on the bed but this place definitely has them. One night I found a dead one on my tank top when I got up at night to pee. Must have been in the blankets or something cause I checked and there was no more under the blankets, mattress, bed frame, or on the floors. Another day I found one crawling near the bathroom early in the morning. We never got bit but just finding them was very unsettling. It made us paranoid and sleeping became kinda hard. Every little thing woke us up. Cleaning staff didn't do so great a job. Floors always had hair or dirt or stuff on it. One day I returned and a dead fly was on the floor when there was no fly in the room when I left. The towels they provide are rough and dry from overuse. One night the cleaning staff removed all the towels including the floor mat towel for the shower and didn't replace them. Good thing I brought some towels just in case. The bed bugs is the only real problem negative. The rest weren't really big deals.
The location is def what I'm looking and I like the hardwood floor as it's newly remodeled. New fridge.
Poor poor wifi as it kept disconnecting. When we pulled out the sheets we saw unknown hair inside and we were pretty sure they aren't ours. The hardwood floor seems nice but when I wore my glasses I saw hairs on the floor which shows they might be neglected to clean them or didn't even clean.
location, in Westlake
Staff was courteous. The room was clean. It was nothing special, but okay for a one night stay. It was convenient for the area that I was visiting.
The person staying in the room above me was walking back and forth all night. I could hear it clearly and it was hard for me to sleep.
The bed was very comfortable, solid comfortable mattress. Very roomy. Very clean. Excellent TV and location. Very good bath and shower. Hosts were very gracious and accommodating. Outstanding parking place on the premises. How
There was nothing I did not like. All was very good.
Location Wooden floor
No coffee Willingness of staff to allow for later check-out to catch flight (they allowed for 30mins!) Rooms were more/less clean, with hair stuck here/there, under the table(s).
Closer to the freeway
No closets or iron bad quality and cheap towels
My son woke up in the morning with thirty bed mite bites all over his shoulders and arms and legs. It is three days later and we are still putting cortisone on...
The staff was really friendly and helpful and the neighborhood was alright, short distances to pretty much everywhere in LA.
The low price will also attract some less than savory customers.
Nice room. Better than I expected for the price.
Air Conditioner did not work. No nightstand light No telephone No ice machine
Good location in LA for convention center. Staff was GREAT, very nice, fulfilled special requests.Room was large and clean. Liquid soap dispensers at sink and shower much nicer than usual travel soaps (lots of waste). And last but not least? ENOUGH PARKING! I'll be staying here again.
Sounds petty, but the towels (small and thin)...and no place to put them. No racks or hooks in the bathroom at all, which you kind of miss when you don't have them. This made drying and reusing a towel more than once a bit of a problem.
Spacious and clean. Well-lit outside.
No lamps. No great space for hanging clothes (not a big deal for an overnight).
The floor was duty and they don't change the carpet of the bathroom. When The floor is sweest, I don't get extra towels to clean. So my little baby was slide in the bathroom. Only thas I don't like.
The Manager, Alex, was very friendly and courteous. He also checked out the parking lot and perimeter often just to make sure things were ok (I really appreciated this). He also let my daughters friends borrow his iron :)
I didn't care for the neighborhood, but that is how L.A. is I guess. We needed an inexpensive room that was walking distance to the convention center, and the Travel Inn was just perfect!
The price was right for a last minute trip to LA. There were good food options and a grocery store within walking distance. After dealing with a rude front desk woman, a man allowed us to put our bags in the room while it was being prepared.
A few reviews mentioned the area as a drawback but with any large city you just need to be cautious. I thought the biggest detractor was the less than comfy bed. Also on check in the front desk woman was a bit rude.
I kind of liked the area
Nothing to complain about really u can just tell they don't trust people their nosy!
Nice clean newly remodeled rooms!
