The location was convenient to where we needed to be. The beds were a nice size and extremely firm.
We asked for a non-smoking room. Although the room next to us and room below us were not. The room reeked of smoke and bothered my allergies all night. Turning on the fan only made it worse. The furniture was dated but in good condition. We weren't too pleased with the exposed pipe running along the floor near the window. The housekeeping staff on that Sunday morning were obviously anxious to get done for the day. They knocked on our door 4 times wondering when we were going to leave. Check out was at 11:00 and we finally decided to leave around 10:30. Plus the housekeeping staff was smoking outside the rooms she was suppose to be cleaning. No wonder everything smells like smoke.
the morning breakfast, free newspaper, coffee all the time.
Nothing has been upgraded in years. My room had ceiling tiles that we're sagging and had heavy water stains, wall paper was peeling off the walls, carpet was worn and dirt build up around the perimeter.
The continental breakfast was adequate and the bathroom had been updated.
The room needed a thorough cleaning - more than a daily maid service would have time to do. I had to babysit my three year old grandson for three days while my daughter and her husband were house hunting. My grandson played on the floor with his toys and when he got up his feet and legs and hands were black from the dirty carpet.
The room was clean, the staff was friendly, the pool was clean, the environment was quiet. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would probably stay again.
The wall outlets didn't all hold plugs in (they fell out). I was in a non-smoking room and it had a slight smell of smoke. The baseboard on the heater was falling off (not that I needed it) was just a cosmetic thing.
The staff were wonderful and the beds were clean.
The room looked as if it had not had a coat of paint in years and years. It looked very old and the rug had sticky spots and we wore our shoes the entire time. The furniture had lots of wear and tear. I only felt comfortable eating the waffles for breakfast because i made it myself. I will never go back.
Room was dirty. Although it was classified as non-smoking, there were full ashtrays sitting on the outside ledge of the window. There were full garbage cans sitting outside right next to my door. The staff seemed very indifferent with a "oh well" attitude. They also didn't know how to tell me how to get to the hotel from the airport. Overall experience was very disappointing.
The sister hotel next door "La Quinta". The look inside and out is far better. But, priced. Maybe because it was Saratoga Springs weekend.
I've spent 20+ years in the field of customer service/quality assurance field. I couldn't believe in 2014 this hotel is the way it is. The staff was unprofessional and a bit disorganized and fusing back and forth about fellow workers. Someone called to see if their sister (an employee) had been picked up from work because she couldn't be reached by phone. Well...the effort made to check was effortlessly asking the ending shift employee if they knew whether the employee left. Needlessly to say with a tone of being annoyed by the caller and question. My immediate thought was, "What if I as a guest called the desk at the end of someone shift?" Anyway, I ventured to check out the room and immediately noticed the windows were flifty, which told me the rooms couldn't be any better. The carpet is VERY old & worn, the bed had a curve from age/use, the adjoining door to the next room did not have a safety latch, the room was cramped, an old fashioned box television, etc...for $76/night? Really??!! Not worth it even with a pool outside in the opening to the main road. Not attractive at all!!
Breakfast had little to offer. Room was clean but a bit rundown!
The room appeared clean, but a closer review showed dust and built up dirt in the bathroom. Also, there is a fire station next door and the alarm went off in the middle of the night both nights of my stay.
Decent continental breakfast with waffles, pleasant staff, reasonable price, didn't use the pool but it looked nice
The rooms smelled of smoke, there were cigarette burns on the blankets and bedding, and the carpets were filthy
No Outlet in the bathroom, even though there was a hairdryer attached to the wall...no where to plug it in!! Place was WAY overpriced...I would have been fine if it was say $49.99 a night, but even that's pushing it
The pool was beautiful and the hot tub was nice.
My reservation didn't go through although I got confirmation. Luckily they still had availability over the holiday weekend. Booking.com's fault, not the hotel's.
The staff hospitality for ck in and breakfast in am..
I found someones slippers under bed which means they didnt vacume or switch bottom sheet :( they were very noticible at the edge of bed not underneath!
Very nice restaurant and bar. Reasonable prices and good food.
I had to clean the hot tub before we could use it.
The hotel is well situated right on Latham circle with easy access to 87, rt. 7, and rt. 9. It is cheap. For those with knowledge of the area, this is the old Cocca's Inn.
The non-smoking deluxe room reeeeeeeked of stale cigarettes and I had difficulty falling asleep. I was woken at 2AM by a hooker arguing about price with her client in the parking lot. This is a motel/motor inn with room doors opening onto the parking lot. I would not call my room a suite. Most of the customers were truck drivers or construction workers.
The tub was clean Good wifi Sheets were crisp and clean
The carpet was stained with burn marks. The floor had soft spots that I was sure I was going to fall through. The white floor board was no longer white. The only outlet in the bathroom was on top of the mirror/light,about 6 feet up. I couldn't even begin to reach it.
Room was neat and clean.
wi-fi was terrible.
The price was very affordable
There was a fire siren 50 yards from the hotel that went off twice during the night. It sounded like you could hear this siren from anywhere in town, extremely loud. They should mention something like this on their site.
Room was clean, quite & comfortable
the rooms are old and dirty (needs to be renovated or at least dusted on a regular basis) the drain in the shower clogged and staff blamed it on the age of the plumbing They said it was a non-smoking room but it stunk of stale cigarettes the window was broken so need a hanger to keep in opened to air out room they did not make the bed while we were out but at least we got clean towels
Checking out. Nothing in particular,
We booked two rooms for three days, one was okay, the other (mine) was in bad shape. The furniture was broken, few of the lights worked. After day 1, when asked, they contended they had no other rooms when it appeared they did. Every day both room key cards had to be reflashed- very annoying - carry suitcases to door - cant get in- carry bags back to car - head to office. And after asking about another room and told there were none, when I went back to office later that evening for a "reflash", they were in the process of renting a room to a young couple, that did not get the room because the girl was under age. Staying at this hotel was not a good experience.
Not as clean as was depicted in the pictures, bathroom needed cleaning and further rennovation
