Small room smelled like mildew and awful oldness. Bed smelled like smoke bed sheets were discusting and ripped. Air conditioning horible TV old and horrible. 1965 telephone and didn't even work.
The place was very dirty including the towels weren't clean and the toilet didn't flush well.
They tried to give me a room where water was leaking all over the bathroom from the second floor and did not seen phased at all when I came to report it. They was no offer of compensation such as a discount or a free room for next time. She simply refunded my money when I said I wanted a discount and that was it
Sheets were clean.
Walls filthy, rooms smelled of animals and stale smoke, light shades filthy and dented and hanging sideways. No remote for TV, locks on door looked like someone had broken them in. Staff was nonexistent
The only reason I considered this place, sight unseen was the proximity to the Howard street EL that I took into the city for a running race in which I participated.
.....and hang out on the railings, drinking beer and having nor regard for the need for quiet of other guests. Everything about this place screams rat trap.
Cleanliness is poor. Worst hotel or inn we ever had. First I ask for receipt when we checked in their printer is not working. Next wifi is not working. No shower curtain so bathroom was flooded with splash of water. Then the room smell is disgusting.
Exactly what I expected. Building should be condemned but it was a perfect cheap room for a male traveling solo. Would not take my lady there If I wanted to keep her.
It is not 3.3 miles from Wrigley as the site said. More like 11.
It was close to some of the things we wanted to do.
Room looked super shabby. In two days I never got the internet to work.
Cheap online pricing
Rooms were outdated except for bathrooms - recently redone. TVs have about 10 channels with no guides of remotes. Old carpet and bedspreads with holes. No garbage can in one room
I like the location
I didn't like the facility. The room was dirty. It smell like cigarette. The carpet was nasty. The comforter had burn marks all over it. Bathroom was dirty. I ask the front person to give us another room and he said place was full. Dirtiest place I ever been. It needs a complete makeover. I need a refund. Seriously!!!!
the staff was so nice.
The rooms were dirty the carpet was stained . The bathroom had insects in the tub and sink. One room smelled like urine we went from room to room to fine a half way decent room with no luck, do not stay in this place there were people with dogs in their room people who lived there unbelievable
rate is good and affordable
the maintnance, shower room light is not good
No real restaurants close by, their own site bar is over priced and ran by a very mean lady who looks 40, but, act 20. They for some reason do Not like to give a full set of towels to you, and if you stay over, they won't give you a new set of towels to use for every two days.
clean sheets and towels, helpful staff
This place is a dive! Horrible! Do NOT stay here. First room was next to a room with 2-4 barking dogs. Rooms were disgusting, bare light bulbs, dirty baseboards, carpets and ceilings. Looked like it had been vandalized. Broken phone, leaking toilet, Even the new sink (only a trickle came out) looked like someone had smashed it with a hammer. Damages everywhere. No heat on a cold night. Window in the shower right on the walkway, curtain didn't close well, no sense of privacy. Some one tried to approach us off the street while we were moving in. Ack - felt like I was about to be robbed. We only stayed because we got there so late. We cancelled our second night and stayed at a real hotel.
Nothing worked, lights, no clock, very dirty, bathroom filthy, could not take a shower, heat would not shut off, no dryer or amenities, just a nightmare, it should be torn down, luckily there were no bedbugs, a terrible experience, especially as i had three rooms for my family.
The room was a total dump.I was told by the manager that the phone, fridge, and microwave had all been stolen. Had to change rooms because my t.v ( from 1998) didn't have a remote....didn't matter, because the tv didn't work anyway.carpet was dirty, walls and door were scratched up severly.parking lot was dirty. This looked more like a room folks pay for by the hour just to have a sexual encounter.
Comfortable bed Clean bathroom. Good Price.
Heat was turned off. Outside Temperature 44 degrees F.Indian office girl said it wasn't that cold and offered me an extra blanket. The office was heated. Go figure! Penny smart , Dollar dumb.
What I did like was the price and the fact that it is locate just across the street from the police station. I also like that even though the place was crabby, that the manager allowed me to stay a few extra hours pass my check out time. Thank you.
What I did not like was the false advertisement. The pictures posted online does not truthful describes the rooms choices. I also did not like that there were no phones, radios, or wi-fi as statement when I booked. I did not like that fact that there were only two towels in the rooms and no face towels. The lighting is poor and you are not able to control the heating climate.
Just a place to stay if you have business in Niles. Friendly staff. Free wifi good, easy for stopover, comfy bed.
Poor condition buildings, draughty.
The sheets were clean & fresh, and the bed was comfortable. And the bathroom was clean, but the premises was rundown & dirty, under construction, and like a ghetto dwelling...very scary!
The carpeting was old dark brown, the paint was cracking, the TV was old & no remote control, the furniture was shabby and the stairs and balcony walk to the second floor was decrepit and slummy looking! A very run down joint! Not worth $69!!!
The bed was very comfortable
There was no thermostat to regulate the temperature so it was very hot in the room. The WiFi worked sporatically, the room smelled of mold.
near several buses and near drugstore, starbuck, deli.
wifi signal too weak and could not access internet
good near drugstore, deli, shop, near several bus stops
wifi signal too weak to use internet
The room was cold when I entered into the room. Then the room was getting warm. The water leaks in the bath.
