Everything worked. It was clean and comfortable if rather tired. The breakfast was quite good with variety
The next unit was being renovated.eecifully mostly when we weren't there
We liked how close it was to the Alamo and the River Walk yet the cost was very reasonable.
The facility was near the river walk the breakfast was adequate. Trolly stops across the street
holes in the carpet furniture in disrepair not very clean on arrival had to ask that clean sheets be placed on the beds the facility was in need of renovation!!
I didn't like how the door look like someone broke into it. I didn't feel secure. You need to work on that. Thank you every much.
You can't beat the price. 10 minute walk to the conference center, not an exciting area, but I felt comfortable during the day as a single woman walking alone.
Not disgusting, but not the cleanest. Typical cheap hotel: rough small towels, few, lumpy pillows, ect. There are not many food options very close.
Dirty Wifi, phone and heat didnt work. What else you need from a room?
Very Close to Downtown. Well within walking distance of the Alamo, Hemisphere Park, The Alamodome, and the Riverwalk. The manager once he heard our complaint.
No on site maintenance. Night desk worker was not really concerned with our issue which was our room heater didn't work and was blowing cold air with an outside temp of 39 degrees. COLD!!!
Parking was OK. Continental breakfast was OK but room could have been much cleaner.
Coffee maker... no cups. No extra toilet paper. One wash cloth for two people. No ice bucket. Bugs crawling on dining tables in breakfast room. Not clean. Did not make up bed... just spread it up. Asked for 3 days straight that the sink stopper be fixed NO response. No waste can in bath room.
The room was always clean and the staff seemed pleasant enough.
Although the night girl was pleasant she was not helpful when it came to requests. Her cell phone seemed more important. We had requested extra pillows since we only had three for a king size bed, never got one that night. We had to leave a request for housekeeping and they still left only one extra pillow.
Washer did not get soap out of clothes and they were not wring out, husband had to hand wrong them. Dryer took 1.5 hours to dry. Bed felt like you were sleeping on plywood.
It is a 5min walk from river walk. It is the cheepest I found close to the river walk. Cable tv and wifi worked very well. it has an elevator. I had a ver comfortable nights sleep.
Arrived durring a shift change and emplyees handled their business before costumer service. The tub drained slowly so that the water built up slightly during my shower. It advertises a tea and coffee maker yet there is only coffee provided in the room. No lotion was provided along with the soaps as I have come to expect.
Location... It was right next to the river walk
Great location and free parking which is hard to find in that area. Friendly staff: The lady tried to serve breakfast for us even 30 min after breakfast time. Clean and renovated bathrooms.
The mattress cover, comforter and the sheets were old. I did not notice that they are not clean but did not felt their cleanness. I think they can replace those easily. Anyways, good value for $50/night!
Front desk took way too long to check in. Room carpet looked like someone puked on it and didn't get cleaned properly. Room was dusty. The hotel felt unsafe. Never go there if you feel you will have problem with these issues.
Location was great!
They don't have varieties of food which makes their food unneed
clean good breakfast courteous and knowledgeable staff
little bit far to walk to sites and parking is expensive.
The hotel was located in close proximity to transportation and walking distance to the Alamo and Riverwalk. The staff was friendly and the price was good.
As soon as we walked in we switched on lights. The lights immediately went out in the main room. We were told the switch was a breaker (on the wall light switch?). They fixed it and we were on our way. The microwave was located on an overturned garbage pail and the coffee maker was in the bathroom. The beds were comfortable but we discovered after the first night that the top two covers were re-used and not replaced as we found a prize stub between them. While we were out they gave us fresh towels but did not empty the garbage. The breakfast they offer is basically a continental breakfast with the added benefit of making waffles for yourself.
no room air freshener sprayed all over the room.
three lamps in the bed room and only one had a bulb and that one had room for two bulbs but had only one. asked at the desk for more bulbs and the desk person said they would notify manager but we never heard back. REDICULOUS.
It was in a good location. Easy to book and the front desk attendant was very polite.
The bathroom shower curtain smelled musty. The bathroom counter had stains that looked like blood but I'm not sure. I wasn't comfortable after seeing that and used paper towels to touch surfaces while there. The air coming out of the air conditioner was musty. Maybe clean filters. The curtains didn't hang properly. The room smelled of cigarettes even though I requested no smoking.
The place is very old and dirty. Lighting in room are very dim and carpet is very dingy. Grafitti on the window. Feels like you are a prisoner on your own vacation.
Great location, right next to megabus stop and airport bus stop. Good breakfast, quiet area.
Aircon too noisy. The room smells like someone had smoked in there.
The blanket was stained, the rug was damaged, the desk clerk knew nothing about San Antonio, and the hotel was filled with noisy, rowdy drunks.
- hairdryer didn't work - light bulb over night table with telephone burned out - telephone labeled room 139 but I was in room 140
Price, location, clean
The sink faucet didnt work in room 218
