Travelodge Hotel at LAX    

Perfect Location for a stopover. Very good value for the price. Free shuttle and free Wifi. Ask for a room in the back. They are realy quiet.

We were arranged with the farest/corner room, very terrible smell when we firstly got into the room.

Great location close to the airport. The shuttle service from the airport was great.

Rooms are a bit dated but were clean.

The staff facilitated our stay in a room with two cats, four adults and one child. We are greatful for their hospitality.The staff was friendly and accommodating to my family's needs. I loved the free breakfast that included a do-it-yourself waffle maker.

The wi-fi service was weak. The room looked and felt old, the cabinets were sticky and smelled like dog. The patio was dirty and not inviting. I am assuming that this is normal for pet friendly hotel rooms that are modestly priced. So we got what we paid for. This is not so much of a complain, it is more of a constructive criticism and observation. The not for pets rooms looked a lot better and people seemed to be having a good time. Our room seemed like it could use some serious renovations.

Hotel staff was polite and efficient. Room was comfortable, clean and in a great location. Overall a great experience.

Close to lax airport with a free hotel shuttle that kindly.dropped us off at out car rental place on our 1st full day. Staff were friendly and provided information about getting into LA etc. Breakfast was nice, it was continental and had lots of choice including fruit. The Dennys resteraunt attatched to the hotel was handy for breakfast and dinner. Room was quiet and comfortable, the hotel also had a gift shop.

Room was fairly dark it was opposite another small building but this wasnt a bad thing really.

The courtyard with all the flowers and greenery. The style of the motel was back in the 50's and it was nice staying in a different kind of place.

The breakfast room needs to be expanded. Too tight.

The young man at the front desk was very helpful and gave suggestions when we wanted to see a bit of LA during the brief layover.

We thought the room was simple but attractive, the beds comfortable and the breakfast great. We really liked the two women who staffed the breakfast as well.

The street noise was a bit daunting. We had a sound machine which helped and we left the fan on all night. We were able to climb the stairs but would not be able to send friends and family without warning them about no elevators.

Poor building like a prison. Not a lot parking. Worst bathroom in the life.

I like the old motel style a lot, with the various buildings, the landscaping, the pool, the porches and balconies. I didn't get a room with a balcony or porch, but the Travelodge feels liks a moment back in time. I like that. I also love the 24 hour Denny's!

Two things in particular were big negatives: (1) The shower was too small, dark, and didn't feel very clean at all. This is something within the hotel's power to control. (2) Because of the "motel" structure of the place (i.e., the rooms are not part of a larger indoor hotel complex), the planes taking off at LAX are very loud and continue to take off late past midnight.

This hotel was excellent. Friendly staff, easy access to the 403. great parking, and nice free breakfast. \\\\\\\\the staff are quick to respond to requests, the room was nice with plenty of space. Nice toiletries. Absolutely beautiful pool, and courtyard landscaping. Rooms came with patios / balconies. Free shuttle to LAX. Next time I'm in LA I will be staying at this hotel again.

I cannot think of one complaint about this hotel.

No elevators.

People up at all hours of the morning. Our neighbours watched TV from 1am - 8am. Kept us up all night. The pillows were too big to use. Very uncomfortable. Everything else was fine

We were put into room 190 which is right beside the supply room. At 7:00am sharpe the noise started. It was loud voices talking and laughing. We didn't check in until 1:45am so would have appreciated a few more hours sleep. The staff need to be more considerate or, don't rent out that room at all!! We even had ear plugs in and it was still very loud. When I brought it up to the front desk staff they were apologetic but sounded like a robot or a monotone recording when she apologized sort of like it happens all the time. She said I would be contacted by email by Management but nothing to date.
