Travelodge at the Presidio  

Quiet location in San Francisco, easily to combine with the hop on hop off bus, as two stops are nearby. Friendly staff helped us with a lot of advice.

Breakfast was disgusting. I could have enjoyed just a toast with jelly or butter, but they did'nt offer that.

The staff is VERY friendly and nothing is too much to ask. They have good answers on all questions, give good service and everyting with a big smile. Thumbs up for Nicky,Raymond and Bruce.

The breakfast could be a bit better with waffels or toast or yoghurt. That was the only dissapointment.

The staff was very friendly and helpfull. Breakfast was sufficient for a start in the day. Location is good: Many bus-lines just stop some steps away - any location in San Fran can easily be reached by bus. Breakfast- room is a bit too small - only three tables available. No traffic noise.

Not enough parking slots for all guests available. Walls to neighbouring rooms seem very thin => noisy. The price is high - but maybe the level in San Fran is generally something higher than elsewhere.

Awesome staff. Check in was great. They are enthusiastic and welcoming. They knew and love the city and the area and were very helpful

Everything. The staff, all of them, were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay there again and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting San Francisco.

The staff were so friendly and welcoming and all, especially the concierge Ray, went out of their way to help. We felt genuinely welcomed and appreciated the insider tips on using a Munipass or finding a good place to eat. The hotel was great for a peaceful night's sleep without traffic noise and within walking distance of Crissy Fields and sunset at the Golden Gate Bridge. Excellent public transport to Fisherman's Wharf or city centre. It was also great value for money.

The room was clean and as expected, WiFi worked well (no captive portal). Staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Raymond did a great job drawing all the bus lines on the map and giving helpful tips for sightseeing (thanks again!). The hotel is located at the quiet end of Lombard St. and close to multiple bus stops.

Breakfast is rather minimal, so you might want to visit a cafe on your way later in the morning.

Staff were super friendly. Quick to respond to any queries. They went out of the way to ensure that both myself and my two year old son had a great time in San Francisco.

Not a criticism but simply to say that the hotel is located in a quiet area well away from Down town.

The hotel was good but the staff in the first day when we arrived was not nice. The location is very good it is possible walk to the place that the boat depart to Alcatraz or take a bus.

Large room, comfortable bed and pillows, excellent staff. Was an excellent reference for anywhere we wanted to go - attractions, meals, bus routes, etc. Very knowledgeable. Had a separate mirror outside bathroom to get ready.

The location next to the presidio and marina. Easy transport to city centre. Good local restaurants and pub

needed cleaning up a bit externally. but to be fare there were serious roadworks nearby,creating a lot of dust.

The staff are the best - seriously, the night I arrived I had a bit of a cough and was offerred a cough lozenge; now that's looking after people. Just really friendly, calm people who make it really good. It also has free parking The room was clean and well mantained. Breakfast was included and was sufficient

The rooms were a bit small. There is also no laundry onsite, so you have to go a fair way to one nearby (can be tricky to park). Would still recommend this for a family or a group.

Staff was extremely helpful. Room was small but very comfortable. Breakfast room was very nice. Everything was more than adequate For the price.

True value for money, big room, free safe en wifi in the room. Great and helpfull staff. Great location in a good neighborhood. You can easily walk the streets at night.

Very helpful staff at the reception. Good location, not far from the center and more options how to get there - by car or by trolleybus, which is just around corner. Free parking.

The bathroom could be more clean, we had some small bugs in the shower and spider web in the corner. For breakfast was only choice between sweet options, nothing salty - but as I realized, that is typical for America (and I don´t like it :).

Good location on the only quiet section of Lombard near the entrance to Presidio. Close to the Chestnut Street & Union Street shopping neighborhoods

great support from clerk regarding parking, travel plan, route, etc. Quite clean room. convenient bus transportation to central area. plenty of choice of food on Chestnut street which are just several blocks away

It's so great to stay at Travelodge. There is free parking & wifi and the rooms are clean. Raymond give us so many great info to spend great time in San Francisco. It is close to Golden Gate Bridge and it will take 10 min by driving to downtown. I'd like to stay here again.

Ray the Manager and the rest of his staff were super helpful and friendly. The rooms were freshly decorated with very nice furnishings including flat screen tv. The bed was super comfortable and so were the pillows! The hotel was located in the quiet end of Lombard right by the Presidio. We also liked that there were two great resturants nearby and a deli. Finally, there were several good bus routes nearby so there is no need for a car.

Good location (though a little bit out of the city), friendly staff, comfortable and good value for money.

Very helpful and friendly staff on reception. Good location for accessing buses. Useful to have free wifi, which was always reliable. Room was clean and well equipped.

The breakfast choice was very limited and there wasn't always space to sit indoors to eat it. I don't think anything can be done about the space problem but more choice could be provided.
