The location is close to the Boardwalk. Safe location. Close to everything. Fast and friendly staff. Very helpful and willing to work with us. They really try to make us feel comfortable. Cool and heat work very well.
they didn't change the towels every for the following day. I stayed two nights. If you ask for towels they will gladly change them. No Coffee in the room with the coffee maker. Make sure to ask for it when they give you the room key.
Location of hotel.
Lighting of room. Everything was old.
Okay place to throw your bags down, and sleep off the alcohol before returning home The WiFi was fast. The men at the front desk were nice. The beds LOOKED clean.
The area is scary. Even walking around in broad daylight made me uneasy (and I was born and raised in the Bronx). Wouldn't be caught dead near the boardwalk at night. The towels were dingey and one had a stain. There is no overhead light. My room had four lamps in it, and only one was actually working. I had to get the man at the front desk to fix it because the room was very dark with the curtains pulled, and my room faced the parking lot so I clearly coyldnt leave it open. This room is NOT worth $300 for one night for one person. I don't care if it was a Saturday or a Wednesday. That room was not worth the price. This is not a place to stay for more than one night. It's not even a good place to stay if you don't plan on going out that night. I woyldnt even pregame in that room.
location, diagonally across from the Taj, price (you get what you pay for)
dirty room, not vacuumed, crumbs left on table and chairs, wallpaper literally falling off the walls, seedy. A great setting for your next independent horror film
friendly staff good sized room right across from Trump Taj Mahal Casino
noisy street difficult to sleep
Excellent proimity to boardwalk, casinos, amusement rides & beach.
No shampoo/conditioner in room. Had to ask for it. On main Road. Loud traffic and noise All nite. I requested a street level room. Told them my Husband is handicapped. SAid they were all sold out. Some handicapped rooms should be put aside. No Continental breakfast. No Pool.
The location is great walking distance to most casinos and boardwalk...
Check in time was after 4pm which I thought was an extremely late check in time. Asked for clean towels and wash clothes was told I had to wait until the next day.
One block from boardwalk.
High price for very dirty unkempt room.
Smell needs up grade furniture this place was, terrible
close to beach
wifi password didn't work, a couple lights in the room didn't work, bathroom ceiling bowed making it difficult to close door, smelled weird, very thin walls, other guests were drunk and yelling outside of our window, no parking! blankets were not provided for beds. there was something sticky on the floor.....
Room was fairly spacious linens clean. One block from the beach and boardwalk
Parking definitely a struggle. Narrow spots. Requested 1-2pm check in. Arrived at 1:45. Was told need another hour. Clerk was able to secure a room however. Clerk seemed to be more interested in getting payment. Then checking in or pointing out points of interest or festivals. Room 119 needs maintenance. Bathroom sink faucet loose. No shower curtain or washclothes. Had to call front desk for wifi, which was sketchy, and have AC unit turned on. Satellite tv with 14 choices and three were satellite tv info channels. On a 1-10. Overall I give this property a4
relative cost clean comfortable bed nice diner across the street
absolute cost narrow parking spots
convenient to casinos
was told i could use cc to hold room and pay cash but when got there they had cancelled reservation cause charged card more than price quoted and it was declined
Proximity to boardwalk -excellent. Plenty of parking
Fit and finish - poor (towel rack loose on wall; plastic Shower fixtures and faucet were plastic and loose Bed hard; plastic mattress cover was noisey, distracting, interfered with sleep. Lacked overall charm, personality, etc. overpriced
The staff were very friendly rooms were awesome and walking distance to the beach.
like that it was close to the boardwalk and the casino's.
I didn't like the crowd of people who hung around near the place near the place and I didn't like leaving my valuables in the room with a safe that didn't work.
It was close to the broadwalk and the outlets
There was no iron or ironing board, there was no large blankets for the bed
Bed and facilities were decent.
Very high price for an old, old hotel.
Room smelled like cat urine and there was a tissue stuffed into the wall filling a hole.
The location of the Inn is great , one street over from the Board walk , right behind theTaj Mahal.
First of all, the front desk person first tried charging us $50 extra for an early check in...then he generously offered us $20 price we actually ended up paying because we were tired and wanted to get in asap to take a shower and start our vacation. Second of all, the room had NO BLANKET!!!( 3 small pillows, a bed sheet and a cover sheet you're supposed to use as a blanket.). When we asked for a blanket we were provided with a very poor quality blanket which wasn't warm at all and moreover had holes all over it. The room was really loud as the Inn is located on a busy street and neither doors nor windows have isolation - it was getting really cold and noisy at night. The overall impression - unless you're very young, on a budget and have NO other choice(especially if it's winter time - it must be very cold there during winter months) - don't stay there! You will save your peace of mind and get the comfort you're looking for elsewhere.
Convenience to boardwalk and outlets.
My account was charged twice and the manager claimed to have no recollection of such. The manager was rude when trying to handle the problem, which was not resolved by him.
I would recommend the Knights Inn for people who want the convenience of being near the boardwalk, and who don't plan on spending a lot of time in the room. The room was comfortable because it was clean and was not smelly like other motels I have visited before. The bathroom and furniture were outdated but the bed was comfortable and we had a nice sized flat screen television.
