Travelodge Seattle by the Space Needle    

very clean and friendly

the wifi is really bad, kept dropping in every a couple of minitues

The beds were very comfortable and the air conditioner worked well. The free breakfast was very nice as well.

The room was a little crowded. There wasn't a bathtub and it would of been nice to have a fridge.

The price is always high for Memorial Day

Very helpfull staff, clean room,good breakfast. very clean city, excellent public transport, and the hotel is central to a lot of interesting places,and things to do.

Higher price than I typically pay for a hotel, but was still one of the lowest I could find for this area.

Staff, especially Gilbert, was attentive and courteous. Bed was very comfortable! Pool area was nice, 24 hour coffee/tea/ice water was convenient. Breakfast was a good way to start the day.

Hair dryer didn't work - smoked and sparked, windows were very old and couldn't tell if they were supposed to be glued shut or able to open (we had one of each). These are minor issues and I reported the hair dryer immediately.

Handy to Space Needle and Monorail. Finally, the last room we were given after much ado, was quite neat and tidy.

4 rooms before getting what we thought we had booked months ago. First room was in a corner with a cracked window and chicken wire holding it together, it looked out onto a concrete work yard and also the city construction drilling going on. One booking clerk was quite rude, whereas another two were quite pleasant. Paper plates were used for breakfast buffet. Rubbish bins were overflowing in the Breakfast room.

Great staff. Location can't be beat. Close to Space Needle and monorail to downtown. Excellent breakfast.

The accommodations were small, but definitely worth it.

We are both smokers and when we ask to be put on the first floor, after they gave us a third floor room, they accomadated us this request in a very friendly matter and right away.

The staff were good and dealt with the issue of some rowdy guests the room was very comfortable

The wonderful breakfasts, the firm beds, the upgrade to a king-sized bed for checking in close to 3:00, a small exercise room, a covered outdoor hot tub.

A room near the sounds of the elevator, no coffee in our room both nights

close to Seattle Center and easy to get to from the Monorail

there was street construction around the lodge which made it difficult to drive directly to the lodge but I did not drive but walked which wasn't too difficult

Location is excellent and staff Joana awesome with her services! We were able to go to 4 or 5 to attractions with our 1 day Seattle stay.

The hotel is old and has to undergo renovation to attract more customers.

Could not create a receipt that itemized the room costs separately for me and my lodging mate, so that we could be reimbursed for our business expenses at our home universities - we were in town for a business meeting at the convention center. The staff also could not generate a receipt with my name on it. I had originally made the reservation in my name, added my lodging mate to the reservation, and then the staff lost track of me and my name - they even told me upon arrival that there was no room in my name. Not until I gave the name of my lodging mate did they realize my room reservation. I still do not have a receipt, despite having spent much time in Seattle and on the phone since to get what I need.

The location is good

The area was so noisy. We couldn't sleep very well.

The rooms were clean and the staff OK. Location was where we wanted to be for the Clipper to Victoria.

Expensive for what was on offer. The hotel was tired and needs money spending on it soon.
