Bed was comfortable, room was big and spacious.
Weak wifi, low hot water pressure, pretty dark room. The swivel chair has seen better days and needs replacing.
Although not quite in the downtown, it is an easy walk (40 minutes) or trolley ride to get there.
Two mornings out of 4, the hot water was only lukewarm. The internet was always slow and several times failed completely.
Bad area needs more food places nearby
No hot water on the day of my check out.
staff very nice- didnt want to spent alot so this was a great deal
Price was reasonable
Small rooms, no WiFi, staff who really didn't care
Handy to transport, Whole Foods shop a couple of blocks away, reasonable price.
Smell of smoke in the room, general unsavoury neighbourhood.
Good location, good staff services.
Poor hygiene, we had cockroaches in out room.
The room was dirty with no carpet. I washed my hands and quickly found out the sink was clogged.
There were bedbugs, roaches, dirt all over the floors, the wi-fi wasn't working properly, and the staff didn't help in anyway to fix anything or clean up.
Location and size of the rooms
The worst wifi I have ever came across. The worst breakfast I have ever had in a hotel or motel. Some members of stuff were not as friendly and accommodating as you would expect . On the other hand others were excellent , which indicates a luck of training . It needs a refurbishment. The deco is stuck in the 70's.
No hot water on sunday morning. Looked like a hangout for transients.
The housekeeper was friendly and nice. One woman during the daytime at the desk was helpful re bus to destination. Man/manager was not at all helpful on ideas or directions.
Loud, homeless all over the place at all hours. Customers as well as street people yelling at all hours. Could not sleep w/o disturbances. Mgmt never tried to control the customers nor street people. Dumpster divers had to be lead off property by my adult son .... mgmt did nothing. No wifi in the dead spot of my room altho mgmt said I'd have wifi. It was horrible. Booking.com should remove this from your offerings. I am hesitant to ever again use booking.com if this is the type of motel you offer. It was horrible I will never go to that travelodge or any again.
Decently priced for a really expensive city.
Half naked bum in parking lot wiping down somebodies car. Pay 15 bucks a day for parking. Roaches, need I say more.
walking distance to hayes street flax design shop delissio bakery next door
- very creepy people in and around the motel - a lot homeless people - breakfast room was like a room in prison, food was horrible - at night noisy: fridge, a ticking in our room that we couldn't locate, singing, screaming people outside - a door between the rooms (from one to the other) and people from next door tried to open it at night!!! Never ever again! I do not expect any comfort in downtown motel but I really can't recommend anything of this accomodation. We are two traveling young girls and were scared all night - we checked out two days prior to our booking plans.
Location, inexpensive parking.
Indifferent front desk staff. Lack of security in parking area.
The loaction right next to the "Hipster Bulevard" (Valencia street in the Mission district) and in walking distance to the Haight street is perfect for bar and club hopping. Cheap for San Francisco standarts.
The room looked a bit run down
San Fran is expensive This is a great location for a single traveller for a place to get your had down
Location close to Castro district
Front desk person very rude
Pretty good location for the cost of rooms, the trolley stops just down the road, so you can be in town in ten minutes.
Appears to have long term guests staying, although when I inquired they said guests could stay a maximum of 27 days. Smokers tend to stand outside of rooms smoking, drinking and cursing, quite loudly.
Location was great.
Upon check in, the front desk clerk couldn't find my reservation. We wasted a lot of time because of this. They had to research and locate my reservation then call me to confirm I did in fact have a reservation. After, finally checking in, we were surprised to learn we had to pay for parking considering we parked our own cars. Rooms were old, smelly, and run down. Won't be staying there again.
Everything was horrible. Location, rooms, facilities, noise, drug dealers and homeless people around, one word, horror!!!!!
