Updated flat screen.Lobby appeared clean. The room was disappointing by its appearance. Housekeeping staff was extremely courteous.
I did not like the fact that only one ice machine worked & it was on the first floor near the office. My room was located on the 2nd floor at the rear.Motel occupied by mainly construction workers with large trucks & trailers taking up all available parking. The refrigerator and microwave were both outdated, with mismatched brands. The countertops & bathroom tile were updated, but the tub itself was rusted in spots. Carpet, comforter & drapes were old.
The shuttle service
Nothing out standing
Not providing tours for new visitors to appreciate New Orleans. Of course this could be at a cost.
I was getting into bed and noticed a small bug. I immediately got up to inspect the bed, then noticed several bed bugs. The towels were dingy and thin!

People playing loud music all night
About 15 minutes from downtown. Plenty of eating places nearby.
Did not see any security personal.
it was a place to stay out of the weather and it was close to our actual destination.
It was old, musty, dirty, un-maintained, and very dated. for what we were charged, even with the booking discount, it was not worth the price. the staff was friendly though. I'm just sorry they have to be a part of a dump.
price restaurant room comfort
$55 taxi from airport check-in a bit confusing
The girl in the lobby was nice
The room smelled awful the bed would slide away from the headboard. Our fridge leaked water. I couldn't wait to leave that place
It was a quiet, comfortable stay. The room was very clean and seemed well maintained. The location is great in that you're minutes from all you need.
There was a bit of a welcome wagon at the door at checkout time and a late checkout is out of the question.
Room wasn't bad. Location wasn't the most convenient, so be prepared to take their shuttle (stops at 7pm) to the ferry (last one at 7:45pm) then a quick walk to bourbon st. To get back is trickier. Ask the front desk clerk for their taxi so he can charge a flat rate ($25)... Otherwise it'll be more expensive.
The room smelled musty.
Friendly and helpful staff.
I like everything about the hotel. The hospitality is astounding...
staff was friendly and helpful
property was shabby and in needed repairs every where, Needs a complete make over.
Probably the location and the pool....
No refrigerator, microwave, no ice , bad service, not good enough for the price paid.
The location was great
Bugs in the room Beds sheets and spread was uncomfartable
Location, and there was nothing to offer
The manager was very accommodating. She tried to resolve all issues.
Rooms showed obvious signs of not being cleaned, dust and cobwebs. There's an overall dingy feeling. Before moving to another facility, we killed a bug in one of the rooms.
Everything will book again in Feb for Mardi gras
Could of used more towels
WiFi was not strong.
Good price.... but...
Dirty.... At the front desk, the employee in charge had a dog... seems it lives there because of the smell. Saw the room, and had to live the hotel..... I'm eazy on hotels... but this time wasn't rigth to spend the nigth in a diry place like that. How come Travelodge let's a place like that have their name?
The kids enjoyed the one of three pools that were open. The interior grounds were nice. The property manager was delightful and encouraging in assuring us that the issues we experienced would be handled accordingly.
First room had dirty sheets. Second room had stained sheets. Two of three pools were not available. Desk clerks were rude. No available towels. Breakfast was not worth time.
My wife and I agreed that Ms. Anne is the best, most interpersonal and good spirited Hospitality Representative we ever met, outside of Jehovah's Universal Organization.
The moment we had to checkout to return home; plus, the time when the heavyset Afro-American GSR lied & told us that no public trans. was available early Sunday morning. Hence, we were late for the final day of our Int'l Bible Convention. Thanks to Ms. Anne tentativeness, we weren't as late as we could've been.
Bathroom was clean. They looked like they had been remodeled. There was room to unpack your things. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Didn't have any problems getting fresh towels. There was a shuttle that ran every hour to take you to the ferry that would take you across the river to Canal street.
Ferry and shuttle didn't run at night and it was very hard to get a cab back over to the hotel. And if you finally managed to get a cab, they overcharged you. The pool water was clean but the tile had mold on it. The air conditioners leaked onto the sidewalks, so you had to be careful not to slip in the water.
